I have a prepaid card that always deposits early and see nothing yet my guess is tomorrow, hopefully!
Does anyone else not have their refund amount showing on WMR? Mine just shows “your refund will be deposited by 2/23” not the amount

@nessa cycle code is the week folloowed by the day of the week so for example
mine is 0605 (IRS does not count the 1st week of the year) so this week is the 6th week and 05 is the the day, their weeks start on Thurs(01) and end on Wed(05), Sat and Sunday do not count!OK so YEARs ago I worked 2 years for Jackson Hewitt. So I don’t remember all the stuff I used too. I luckil got in touch with my old boss who has been doing taxes for 20+ years! I asked him about the processing dates etc. He said the processing date on transcripts is the “processed by date” so that is the date you will get your return by, but in MOST cases you get it well befoe then. ALSO if you speak to the IRS and they say they just began to process PATH returns on 2/15 this is a half truth. There are two process’ when it comes to Tax Season the Return and the Refund Process. IF you are able to order your transcripts your RETURN has been processed. The started processing the PATH REFUNDS beginning yesterday. Things will process at a fairly quick pace over the next 2 weeks he said. batched of refunds will be released each day, just be patient.
Ok, here is what I am seeing after reading hundreds of posts over he last 2 weeks. If you call the IRS they will tell you the 27th NO MATTER WHAT. They have to do that. SO if there are any issues with your return/deposit etc they are covered. Also once you can see your transcipt (online or via snail mail) and see your cycle date. Your cycle date tends to line up with WHEN you should or should have gotten your return. Mine is 0605 IRS weeks start on Friday so the 5th day of the 6th week would be tomorrow( IF I am right) Most people with PATH will get their refunde before the 27th unless they are flagged ,resequenced or have some other issue. Try not to stress. The IRS can be a pain but this is their first year dealing with the PATH act too so they are trying to work out the kinks I am sure.
It seems that most IRS Agents give mixed answers bu the 27th stays the same. So jsut be patient.
@kourtnee what you said makes the most sense. They are gonna tell everyone the 27th no matter what. But I think a lot will get $ before then. They say the 27th in case their are any issues. This is their 1st year dealing with the PATH Act so they have kinks to work out too!
HELP! Called the offset line and it usually says “you have no non tax debts” . Now it says “the information you requested is currently unavailable ” should I worry? @tom @willbeas @carrie101
I am pretty sure it will show in your transcripts. Someone who had one last year said that it did.
OK I noticed some people saying they have a process date on 2/13. Well looking at last years transcripts said my processing date was 2/22/2016 cycle date 20160505 and I got my refund 2/10/2016. This year I have a processing date of 2/27/2017 cycle date of 20170605 So any thoughts anyone? Seems my refund should be released this week 15-17th.

Filed and accepted 2/2. Was able to view transcripts online 2/10. Updated to PATH Message 2/11. Going off last year I’d say a DDD of 2/15 or 2/17 is possible.
@yvette Nea was your offset listed on your transcripts last year?
Able to order transcripts today shows cycle 20170605 so my guess is the 15 or 17!
@tom if you have an offset it shows in transcripts yes?
@tom a girl posted here that the offset line said she had no Offsets but $2000 was still taken from hers. So I was just curious how accurate the line is? I check it every year and have never had it tell me I have Offsets. So when she said she had an offset when the line said she didn’t I was curious as to why that might happen!

Serious question I filed 2/2. Have EIC and ACTC. No PATH Act notice on WMR AND can’t order transcripts either. Should I worry?
Question is it true offsets pop up closer to your DD?
FYI Anyone with 2/23/2015 on your transcripts and a cycle code of 20150505 2/23 is for PAPER checks if you have DD your date should be 2/11 :D

I have the same thing it said 2/16/2015 now it says as of 2/23/2015 and my refund codes are there with a date of 2/23/2015 will I not get my refund till
Then? That seems a bit much.Bart, I have noticed that alot of people who had a DD of 2/4 have not gotten their money yet, any idea why? Is this a common thing? Will it most likely happen with upcoming returns?

I have an update! I can see my Return Transcript finally a cycle of 20150505, but my other ones still say no return filed, so any thoughts on that ? Waiting for WMR to come back up in the AM with a update finally! Also any idea when I might get my DD?
YES Finally something!! My Account transcript is finally there I am 20150505!! My other ones still say no return filed! Any idea why? Hoping WMR will be updated in the morning with a date!

Okay everyone, after nearly an hour on hold (love how they quote you 15-20 minutes), I am actually grateful because I spoke with someone who was fairly pleasant and informative. However, since everyone seems to get different responses and often say the reps have no idea what they are talking about I am not going to go 100% off of this until I see more evidence that it is true. That being said…
She told me that when you submit your return on a non-processing day for the weekly cycle your are on (referring to us 04s which are and 05s) you are given a dead cycle code and re-sequenced to be accepted/processed on the day when they usually update your cycle. I submitted mine and received acceptance from Tax Act on 1/28, however the IRS actually received and accepted it on 1/30 and put me into re-sequencing because Thursday Night-Saturday morning is when the 05ers are updated. She said she is not sure why some companies issue submission ids with the dead cycle codes in it because it causes panic and there is often no reason for alarm and while they have been trying to veer away from the weekly updates, some people still fall into that system. She stated that at this time I am under normal processing and should see an update soon, but no later than 2/20. She did say that system updates on Saturdays and Sundays can delay WMR updating (I noticed this all day last Sunday) so to check Monday prior to calling if there are no updates on the weekend.
I hope this information is true and no just a heap of mumbo jumbo to hush me up and get me off the phone, but it sounds reasonable.
Couple questions, I don’t think I have an offset. I do owe student loans but am in forbearance in one and making payments on another and have never gotten a default letter or anything, but could that be what my hold up is? How would I know if I had an offset? Would the irs have sent me a letter?
Next question
I filed 1/22 accepted 1/23 can only see N/A on transcripts. I did not file the last two years due to not working. Would that cause a delay ? Or am I likely just one of the many who is delayed this year due to issues with the processing etc?@mstorilivsand so I filed 1/22 TT says I was accepted the 23rd but I am guessing that may not be totally accurate. I have seen no movement my transcripts say n/a still and no return filed. My refund was quite simple only one job, EIC and that’s it. I don’t have a clue what cycle I’m on since the last time I filed was 2012(did not work in 2012 or 2013) the last cycle I was on was an 03 cycle. Do you think I’ll see an update by Monday?

My transcripts say n/a and that not return has been filed on the Wages one. What gives? I filed on 1/23 accepted 1/24.
UGH! I filed on 1/23 and my WMR still only has one bar. I am getting really frustrated.
I filed 1/24 but have seen no movement either. I am not sure what to look for on the transcripts or which one to look at can anyone give me any details? On the transcript it does say “no return filed”
