02 is Friday. IRS apparently wasn’t satisfied with the order of the days of the week. They said how can we confuse the general public even MORE!? I know, we’ll completely rearrange how we go through the week! Silly if you ask me, although I’m sure they have a lame brain reason.
01 Thursday. 02 Friday 03 Monday and so on.
I too filed the 16th and accepted the 20th. This is F’n retarded. I have actually been audited they owed me $100 (haha IRS) in 2009. No real issues since except my return taking a week longer then most. I was fed up this morning because I know every passing day puts it getting in my bank next week and so on. I call the tax advocate line, which I highly suggest. Told me not to call the IRS anymore and that it’s in their hands now. Said I will hear something from them in 3 days what in the world is going on. They could not see any identity issue going on. Which when I ordered my 2013 return this year just to see the cycle code it did tell me to call the specs I unit. I did and she had no earthly idea what I was talking about. This is insane. Next year I absolutely refuse to file early no matter how bad I want to.
When do transcripts update? Filed 2/1. Accepted 2/1. 1 bar on WMR. Transcripts say 0’s and a date of February 23, 2015. UGH!
F/A 1/28, 1 WMR bar, still processing, no movement. Sometimes I’ve been able to view transcripts and other times not; locked out yet AGAIN, “information doesn’t match” which is a crock.
I filed on 1/20 and am in the same boat. I called the IRS this morning and fibbed a little about my filing date to speak with someone. I was told that I needed to verify my identity and was transferred over. After two hours, finally verified and was told it would be 2-8 weeks before I see my refund. I just wanted to let everyone know of my situation and hope that helps. Good luck all!
Filed 01/16, accepted 01/20; but now no bars and the message: “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.”
I know that it hasn’t been the full 21 days yet, but its frustrating knowing that there are folks who are getting their refund in a week or less. Just gotta be patient though I guess.
I finally have access to my return transcript as well with the same cycle code 20150602. Idk what it means tho
I make just under $125K per year and my refund this year is slightly over $16K. So yes, that is possible if you are making good money with tax credits.
I just went through this today. I filed on 1/20 and had the same issue with one bar, disappearing, all 0s…all that jazz. I spoke with an IRS rep and was told I had to verify my identity. After doing so, I was told anywhere from 2-8 weeks to process. I am hoping to see and update tomorrow, but have no idea exactly what happened or is happening. Just know, you are not alone and God bless.

Can they tell you something WMR wont?@Stuck – I have DD going to my walmart card too, I called to see if they saw any pending deposits and the lady told me that she didn’t have anything but that they have an option to get a text message sent to your phone when a deposit is made and that as soon as they get the money it will be made available. I used it last year also and I don’t remember getting it early, but it definitely wasn’t delayed at all
I’m in the same boat as you, except I filed and was accepted on 1/26. No progress whatsoever on WMR.
@Jojomarie if you filed January 16, I do get the anxiety however, in my personal opinion, that is the danger of filing before they start offically processing. I fell into that trap last year which I why I waited a bit longer this year. I am refering to those, like me, who filed recently and are stressing over a possible 24 hour timeline for deposit or god forbid you haven’t been approved 36 hours after acceptance!

(02) Monday is a federal holiday…20120602ers do you think this will cause a delay? Or perhaps is there any hope to rcving it early?
@notax I got approved on the 16th. Now of course I know no processing would start until the 20th, the wait just seems longer this year. Plus I had a bad business year and I need to pay off some bills.

I filed on 2/5, Turbotax. Federal accepted 2/6, CA state [finally] accepted 2/9. Where’s My Refund site, app, and hotline tell me 1. you’re entering incorrect details, or 2. you must wait at least 24 hours. Neither of these are the case. I attempted to track CA state refund – same issue. I am unable to view my transcripts. Is there a problem? What should I do? I waited on hold with TurboTax for 2 hours and was disconnected before I reached a real live human. So frustrated! Please help! :(

Kayla if your under review they will be contacting your employer to verify your income the quicker they respond the quicker you get your money… I would also fax a w2 to the IRS proving your income… Normal time frame is 45 days put u can push it faster if you do what I said
F&W, same situation but filed/accepted 1/22, no bars, transcripts N/A.
faith my brother ddd is 2/11 too and he filed with liberty…let me know once you get yours and btw they use santa Barbara bank so you can check if it got there yet then you know your office should have within 2 days

So very very true – I can remember the days of mailing in the tax return, not knowing if they even accepted it for WEEKS and then waiting and waiting for the paper check.I have a DDD of 2/11 as well. I honestly don’t know why everyone is making calls, getting upset, analyzing messages for unseen meaning and starting multiple threads. I get wanting or even “needing” you money, I have been there…but come on! Most of us filed LAST WEEK! We are getting our money very quickly all things considered. Let’s keep things in perspective!
I am looking for anyone who has filed the injured spouse form in previous years. I had to file it this year for the 1st time and I’m just trying to find out if it takes the whole 11-12 weeks for processing like they state? any help will be appreciated.
BartD I have a question I filed 1/20 accepted same day. Last Tuesday I was finally able to view my transcripts and the following codes were on there 150,806,766,766,768,570 in that order then I received a letter that same day stating my return was under further review to verify income. WMR has not changed for me since the 20th and transcripts have not updated since last Tuesday. How long do you think it would take for them to verify my income. I’ve had a family emergency and was using that money to get back out West. I was just wanting your input from what you have seen.
Until you see the codes it’d be a random guess at best to tell you one way or another. When did you file?
So I filed 2/6 around 7pm est time accepted 830 pm same day. So I’m not really sure if I’m a 2/6er or 2/7er so for now I’m going with a 6. So far every cycle chart I’ve seen says if approved by on it so now I’m not sure what I believe anymore. Hopefully tonight’s update will tell us something since as of right now I can’t veiw transcripts and get the general WMR we are processing 21 days 152 topic stuff. Anyone have any thoughts on this.

I filed on the 20th accepted the same day. I lost my bar on WMR over the weekend. Now it says return is still being processed, a refund date will be provided when it is available. However the tt152 is gone away, but I still have my amount on the bottom. There are no tax topics at all now. Anyone else have this happen?
I can’t see it online only order it by mail.. Please someone tell me this is good news.
Accepted 1/20, Approved 2/5, WMR updated 2/6 with DD of 2/11.
Turbotax, paid fees up front, DD with Chase. WMR doesn’t show refund sent yet and Chase rep. doesn’t show any pending direct deposits for tomorrow morning.
I’m really hoping I get my money on 2/11.
Hiya Bart! Hope you’re having a great one and thanks for answering all our non-stop questions! I’ve got one of my own! F/A 1/29 through Turbo Tax, only bar on WMR w/ Tax Topic 152. As of 2/6 (Friday) I could finally get to my account transcripts but it was all 0.00s with no cycle codes! Both acct transcript and wage says no return filed. I’ve never been an 05’er, but this year I did get to file as a student. Married filing joint, three dependents.
Will I see a real update soon, you think? Or am I gonna have to wait til Friday again? Also are there updates tonight?

I spoke with TA today and she said that since I have an offset she would not be able to help me and she tried to look into that 570 code and told me from the notes in my account it shows an at least 11wk min wait time??? How factual is this? And she still had no clue as to why I have the code and still not showing any letters being sent out, but she did say from what she can see, no information that they need from me as of now.Filed 1/26 Accepted 1/28. Bars went away a couple days later and have not returned. My WMR says “Your return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” As far as transcripts go, 2014 is still showing unavailable. However, when I try electronically, I keep getting the Identity Fraud screen with the 1800 to call. So early as I posted I called and was told my return has been randomly selected for review and it could be 6-8 weeks before I get my refund. I decided after stewing for 20 minutes and not finding much help online regarding the issue or anyone else in this situation, to call back for more information. The guy on the phone this time was different but provided me with more information. He said that I was randomly selected in order to test for Identity Theft. They are not reviewing my tax return in any official capacity regarding the numbers, but they are making sure that I am who I say I am and that my return was filed by me and not someone else. This is why I got the Identity Fraud screen because that is where my return currently is sitting. Basically the purpose of this random review to to check for identity theft and that nobody is filing false returns in another’s name. What aggravates me is that I was told I would have to wait an additional 6 weeks………..Really? I am so aggravated with this right now.
I have seen a lot of people online with the same issues that I have been having. (file date, accept date, no progress, no transcript, bars missing). I figured I’d give you all a heads up in case this is happening to you. If you are having the same issues that I am having then I suggest you call the ID Fraud number that is posted on the error message to the ID Fraud Unit. This is absolutely horrible. I worked for my money all year and made sure that I filed ASAP and early. I deserve my refund.
I’m really hoping that this review is short and sweet and I will have my money by the end of the week. One can only hope, but at this rate, my expectations are very low that I will actually get my money in a timely manner. Again, I just wanted to put this information out there for anyone else that is in my position with WMR and transcript errors.
Error resolution just corrects the math error or missing forms common it’s part of the review department but less serious you will defiantly get your refund before they call cause will never call you!
When I try to get my transcripts I get this message. “We cannot process your transcript request. Please contact the Identity Protection Specialized Unit (IPSU) at 800-908-4490”
I called twice and both times told I have no IPSU issues. That my return has been received and approved but not processed. That it’s the reason I get that error message.
ANYONE else have the same issue?

No that isn’t a reason for a review unless you won a ton of money.. If that was the case you wouldn’t be worried about the refund :)
Hi Bart. Filed 1/20 accepted same I lost bar Saturday Called irs today was told she didn’t know what problem was but would send message to error resolution dept to find out. I called back and was told by another rep that systematic problem and we may see refund before error resolution dept calls us by phone. Does any of this make sense please enlighten me
