Never received an email from TT saying refund was on the way. Fees on TT says payment complete. Anyone else in the same boat?Is your TurboTax payment pending or completed and also does it change before you get your actual deposit?

No movement whatsoever.
Other 2/11 filers sound off.
SBTPG holds onto that money until the last possible minute. It’s this way every year if using their service.

One more thing…. Im Varo Bank.. as of last year if im remembering right i was freaking out a bit cause it took until the evening of the 22nd to fund me and nothing was wrong IRS and SBTPG was just slowwwww
Nope for me. Im TT fees taken SBTPG still says “unfunded”. BUT ITS COMING GUYS! Just like watching a boiling pot of water…. Watching makes it slower! Im gonna go watch funny tiktoks until my sh*t posts then BUYING A TRAMPOLINE FOR MY KIDDOS! Yayyy. Lol
i wish i could post screenshots sbtpg told me that they send the direct deposits as a “regular ach” i also have sofi and im worried about this issue
Same here! I have made 8 documented calls, since 1/27…when the action req’d message appeared. I have heard now 3 letters were sent, dated back to 1/29. I have no letters. Transcripts are blank. No online notices. No local office within 100 miles. I waited a month. Today, they said wait a little more. Clearly, they are making it up as they go. Might need a tax advocate again this year. They are understaffed and mismanaged. And we are at their mercy.

@wolf going forward for future tax seasons, please sign up for an IP Pin. This will avoid anymore identity verification hiccups you may run into. Due to the increased amount of tax fraud more people are being randomly pulled to verify their identity. Having an IP gets you passed any verification questions as that assures them 100% it was you that filed the return.
@Refund2024. Agree. They are not allowing me to complete this action they requested back on 1/27. I deal with other Gov agencies. If they request something from me, I don’t wait a month. It’s unreal that I can’t fix this.
Nope. Just shows is my refund amount doesn’t show anything else. I know people who filed after me that have received their direct deposits and their date was February 22nd 2024. What is going on?

Issued-2/16/24I have not received my DD yet assuming tonight or tomorrow morning. But I have never seen or heard of them receiving, processing, and issuing refund in just 2 days. Has this happened to anybody else. I’m not definitely not complaining. I was pleasantly surprised when I seen that but just thought it was crazy and was worried it was a mistake.
Same here but paid fees upfront this time! 2/8 filed and accepted…got email from TT today and always get funds that Friday or Saturday normally!!
Sounds like these people don’t know how to do their jobs!! I’m debating on calling back tomorrow or just waiting it out to see if I update by Friday morning. If not I’ll be on the phone all dang day Friday until I get some dang answers!! This is ridiculous! I’m in the same boat and my WMR NEVER said I had action required. Just my online account says verify return.
@wolf unfortunately once they send a letter they will keep giving you the run around and refuse to offer any real help over the phone. You can get a local tax advocate who you would be able to call personally and give you real updates on what’s going on with your refund. But calling the general IRS helpline will be worthless.
I filed 1/17 and was accepted 1/30. Haven’t recieved it yet. I’m hoping it comes before friday.
I have had the dang message to verify since 1/27. They say they mailed 2 letters weeks ago, never got them. I have already waited a month. Today they said wait 2 more weeks. For what? They won’tlet me verify without the letter. No local tax office for in-person within 100 miles. So now what? Nothing like the IRS telling me, “Sorry, I don’t know”.
I have had the “Action Req’d-verify” since 1/27. They have mailed 2 letters I haven’t received. Called today and they said wait 2 more weeks for yet another letter??? They said I can’t do anything without a letter. I don’t think they know what is what.

Hi everyone. I’m in the same boat. I filed and was accepted on 1/31. My cycle code is 20240705. I currently have codes 150, 806, and 570 on my transcripts. I withdrew my 401K from a previous job and just as someone else mentioned, line 5a is missing the amount and 5b has an amount. This is my first time withdrawing from a 401K. I’ve never had code 570 before so I’m slightly worried.

2/18 WMR updated to DDD 2/22, which is odd for me. I have been a weekly every year, for several years, always update via WMR on Saturday, so this was different.
Still no update on SBTPG site but EMAIL from TT saying refund on its way. I usually get the email the day of or day before my actual deposit. I’ll keep you all postedFiled 1/23/24 with TT

Spoke to IRS 4 times today
1st time – I was told a Letter was sent, and to follow instructions. Called back because my acct transcript has old address
2nd Time- rude guy, told me letters where sent 9th, didn’t even access my account.
3rd Tine- Need to ID verify in person at IRS office, because old address on file.
4th time- called appointment hotline, they told me there are absolutely no flags on my account and no notices sent to verify, and my return just has not been processed yet.

I verified my identity over the phone today, just want a place for everyone that had to verify to keep each other updated on when the verification button disappears from irs account; when you get transcript update, when you get a ddd and when you get your actually refund…

One thing I discovered, they have a maximum number of times per day that you can check status. It should tell you if you have reached that number. All I can tell you is that mine was accepted by the IRS on Feb 6, and the refund was in my bank account on Feb 17. Of course, I e-filed and used direct deposit.
E filed on 1/31, said return received by IRS since 2/01, still waiting on DD refund to our bank account. No kids, no tax credits or addrnl docs needed. Anyone else still waiting on their refunds for this long?

Listen if anyone has an 810 code please make an appointment to your local IRS to be verified they will tell you what you need to bring when you make the appointment
