i got a refund DD of 2/22
my WMR has not updated since it said approved over a week ago.
I have checked everything with TT and CK isn’t giving me any information either. I am starting to worry that there is something wrong with my refund possibly.
I am having my fees paid with the refund also. so, i am not sure if that is the reason it could be taking so long.

And still nothing deposited at 8:25pm central
It says date posted 2/22 on the site and on the phone. I hope it’ll be here before midnight but at least 5am please 😭😭

And getting a trace number doesn’t mean it’s in your bank. It just means that it was sent to your bank. So after you see your trace #, you just have to wait until your bank posts it to your account and made available to you.

Tracing number basically means your funds have been sent to your bank. You can also use that number to trace your funds if gets lost for some reason (basically you didn’t receive it). So it’s like a confirmation #.

I’m seeing a lot more on FB getting theirs in credit karma now.

Hey y’all last yr used TT and had refund sent to my CK card fees taken out of refund.. got deposit 1 day early hit my CK card at 8pm.. this yr same way sbtpg says funded..nothing yet!! ddd 2/22 Eic and Ctc so hopefully deposit hits CK card tonight.. 🤞🏼 I’m in NC if it matters..Good luck all.. So a couple of hours ago when I posted, my SBTPG still said unfunded and only had the amount of my refund and amount paid to you filled. I just checked now and everything is filled out completely and now shows funded. Amount paid to you is still the same posted date 2/22.

From what I read, after receiving your funds from IRS, TPG will start releasing funds at 2:30pm Pacific time. According to Google. It would be 4:30 pm

Just an update TT notified me just now they received my fees from filing and I should see refunds anytime. I’m the same as everyone else with the DDD 2/22, CK as well. Just a process which is normal

It’s gonna go through as a normal dd so between 8:30pm to 9:00. It was that way last year. And I have been using CK for my work DD and it always deposits 2 days before but around 8:30pm to 9:00pm

Last year filed with Turbo Tax, opted for the advance, and paid fees with the tax refund Credit Karma/Turbo Tax deferral option, The DDD date was set for the 22nd, but my actual deposit date was the 21st into my Credit Karma checking account in the morning.

This year I see that my DDD is set for the 22nd. Still no deposit. The https://taxpayer.sbtpg.com/ website does show that it was already posted and funded. If it doesn’t post after 2 pm, then it’s likely after midnight.

I decided to call the hotline since the website is showing unknown in my amount for the first time. The hotline says it has received my funds and was sent out 2/22. 🙄 I hope today and if not, I guess I’ll just have to wait ‘til tomorrow.

Just checked TT after reading some comments here, my fees say payment completed now. Last year didn’t see any of this til after refund.

Sbtpg will only show funded the day they issue your refund. They update in the morning, and allocate the funds throughout the day. Its the same every year.

Sorry, let me add my details so it can be helpful for others. For some reason, I can’t edit my prior comment. Order Details in TT still showing as Payment Pending. That tells me when I log into SBTPG it will show Unfunded.

For those wandering, if you applied for the advance, it will still go through tpg for some reason. Thats from TT when I called several times chewing them out for doing it that way. I only know as it happened last year. Idk why we got denied as we got approved the previous 2. This is 1st year we filed paying the fees upfront and no advance. Hope this helps, but youll most likely get 1 day before or of.

I got a ddd for 2/22 my bank is police and fire. I didn’t get an advance and I have eic and atc so I most likely won’t see mine until the 22nd I never get lucky! But wmr says I should receive it “by” the 22nd so could I get it before then ? Like tomorrow Tuesday ?

It can be the day after. I’ve had it happen. Typically you’ll get it the day before or on but there is a possibility for the day after.

@quinnby the IRS already released it. They are not going to send an ACH the night before or it will not make it to your account on the DDD. The bank that handles the filing fees already have the $ and they are the ones that release it on the DDD

I been doing turbo tax for years. You will get it midnight the 21st going into the 22nd no matter if you got advance or not. As soon as the IRS releases it you get it dats flows quick so if you got advance it will take it instantly if no advance still the same thing. Don’t let people lie to you on here. If you are lucky you might get it the 20th but stop worrying yourselves it will be there.

Nicole, if you did the refund advanced or you had fees taken out, your money doesn’t come from IRS to you directly. It 1st goes to SBTGP, which has your refund advanced and / or fees taken out. Also, they don’t release till they have been funded the money which causes the delays.

What if you got denied for the advance, so didn’t receive an advance; would you receive money earlier than DDD 02/22? Or does it still count as getting an advance so you have to wait until DDD?

So last night I googled if we can still get the refund early if we got the advance and had fees taken out and it brought me to a page thru credit karma stating that you can either get the Advance or you get your refund 5 days early.. one or the other but if you do the advance you are ineligible for the 5 day early refund. 😞 Maybe we can still be eligible for 2 days early ? 🤷🏻 Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Since TurboTax started doing the advance, I’ve only had it come early by four days twice normally, it’s one to two days early or at midnight on ddd fees taken out

If you got a advance it will deposit the day of or day after your ddd. If no advance or fees today/tonight. Early deposit for CK is for those that didnt take advance or had fees take out… BUT if its just fees you could see it a day early not sooner
