Hello I got a refund date of 3/10/23. Does that mean ill receive my refund check by the 10th? or does it mean the check will be mailed out on the 10th?

Convinced im not getting a DDD. No way i filed in january and still stuck on processing
@sandwds Mine refund has been in green parentheses for over two weeks already and that’s it. I had read that everyone’s was processing quickly this year, well everyone’s but mine. I don’t get it?!?!?!
I filed on 02/08 and still nothing has moved. Anything for you?

I got my deposit at 12:38 this afternoon so it’s coming even though they’re a little slow@Ida: I’ve been sending messages and they keep telling me it will be released shortly and they still keep feeding me the 4-6 weeks nonsense. I feel like they’re playing games with me.
I was scheduled to receive refund today but it was never deposited, anyone else?
Erica did you called them to see what’s the hold up? You should have gotten your date by now. Normal years the same day it goes back to zero you get a date.
Still have not received my refund, accepted on Feb 8th stilling in limbo since then

I was wondering the same thing because they’re open now but maybe after 9What time does New York usually start sending deposits?
We filed 2/16 got back fed on 2/28/23 had to id verify for the state was approved on 3/1/23 said 5-7 business to receive the funds hoping it will be in there today I filed my dads taxes same day as mine on 2/16/23 he got his state approved on 2/22/23 and it was there 2/27/23 and fed was there 2/28/23! Hope this helps if it’s been to long just call and verify over the phone
@jstarr I’m in the same boat, file 2/14 and was told there’s an error and I have to wait 10 weeks. No update No notices. Just “still processing”
I filed 2/22 and was accepted just a couple of minutes later. it’s odd you haven’t been accepted yet. but I have seen other people in the same predicament. maybe check out r/irs on reddit too? just in case your question isn’t answered here.
Filed and accepted with TT: 2/22
Simple return; no EIC, no dependants, no fees.
Didn’t see an update until today, and even then, it was unprocessed all day today until just now!
Couldn’t see transcripts.
I bank with Chime.I’ll let y’all know if it hits early. :)

I’m having this same issue. They told me I didn’t qualify for a tax advocate because my return hasn’t been processed yet. If anyone knows differently, let me know and I will call first thing Monday morning.
I verified identity today , let’s see how much LONGER I have to wait.
And I still don’t know why we even got paper check. We’ve always gotten direct deposit with no issue.
Check received! Showed up on informed delivery again today and was in mailbox. We live in a neighborhood with one main mailbox per block and so maybe it was mis-delivered and put back in the return and re-delivered. Anyway.. got it now. Good luck to everyone.
Recap. WMR showed will be delivered by 2/24 since 2/16. Showed up on informed delivery on 2/27 but had mixup with mailbox delivery.Accepted 2/20

because it is weird for them not to be accepted for almost a week. they’re not worrying about the refund, just the fact that it seemed like their return hadn’t been filed for so long.

I don’t know what kind of games these people are playing but I’m getting really pissed off. Finished processing my return days ago and still no ddd. Still saying processing. This is bullshit. I’m so mad.
Anything anyone? My poor daughter got her little 300$ hostage since 2/6. Poor thing and she has been filing since she was 18 never an issue and she’s 24 now. She’s like ma where’s my little money 🥺😅

I filed 2/4 and I’ve never had a problem getting my refund quickly. I called and they said my return was being reviewed and it was in the corrections department and to give them 10 weeks. She said to call back April 17 if nothing happens. Has anyone ever been told this?? How long does it usually take? Has anyone ever gotten a tax advocate?? Is it easy? Will they help?
