It’s my understanding that the later date related to the paper check being mailed. The cycle code and the refund sent code and notice are most important. I have always received my refund either in the day or or a day before the cycle date. I expect ours with 20150502 will arrive by/on Friday or Monday at the latest depending upon how quickly the banks update. Also, it’s my understanding that any taxes efiled after 11:00 am EST goes on the next day (mine were the same). Also, my WMR is still on processing but checking and confirming my past tax cycle codes and bank deposits shows that those codes are accurate. Good luck to you!

I used liberty tax also…u spoke to a rep who impolitely told me they will deposit my money anytime between 9am and 10 pm…..I’m hoping she was being nasty and not truthful!!

I have a question…so I pulled my transcripts tonight and on the account transcript where it has all the codes and dates and stuff…it has the 846 code on it but under date is has 2-23-2015…this makes no sense to me…it also shows that as my processing date. The WMR site still has me at one bar with no DDD and no adjustments or anything show on my account transcripts…any idea why it has the 846 release code with a date that isn’t until 2/23? I thought I filed on 1/28 until I re-checked my calendar and realized it was actually 1/29 that I had filed, early in the day before noon…I was accepted just after 12pm that same day…can someone give me some insight on this please? Last year was a nightmare for me with taxes as I waited the longest I have ever had to wait, especially being one of the early filers last year. Thanks in advance for any help!!! You guys rock!

@pugtor Yes I agree, TT dropped the ball. I am not even really upset about it anymore, because I used to always get my taxes done by HRB. Then they had the education credit delay, so I said I would use TT, and here we go TT dropped the ball this time. It just seems that no matter which company I use they seem to drop the ball some way shape or form when it comes to me. LOL. You have to laugh to keep from crying.

If you have 000’s on your transcripts or n/a check your transcripts now. They have been updating for many people. Cycle code of 20150503. WMR will update tomorrow night with a DDD for Monday 2/9!

@msnicki, I used JH and they asked for the actual information. In my case, I’m hoping that it’ll go through without the information. Oddly, you would think if you say “yes” to the TT question it would know enough to ask you for the inputs on the form… I’m surprised, I’ve ALWAYS used TT, this is the first year I used JH and will probably be the last but from what I’ve gathered TT dropped the ball pretty badly this year.

Hi Bart and good evening. I asked a question about an hour ago but don’t see where it was posted…..I filed on the 7th and was accepted on the 12th. Last Tuesday 1/27 I was able to view my transcripts and I have the 570 code. On Friday 1/30 I lost my 1 bar but still had my refund amount. Mt tax topic came back 1/31 so I called turbotax to see what was going on. The rep told me that i had actually been accepted on the 20th. As of right now, my bar is still gone, the 570 is still there, and no 846 . Any thoughts?

@deb75 I have heard that some people go through without the letter, and that some people don’t. If you know you forgot about it I would would fax it over just to be ahead of the game instead of waiting for a letter to arrive.

@dude you need the 846 code to get a refund. 570 is a freeze code I think. You’re delayed for some reason.

You are not alone, and ladybgirl is right: there are discrepancies for many of us between the accepted date the tax services are telling us vs the dates the IRS are giving us. I know in my case, my tax service said IRS accepted me on 1/20, but IRS told me they did not get my return till the 23rd! I am still waiting as well. I totally understand what you’re going through right now. Just know you are not alone.

You must not have had insurance and did not qualify for an exemption. That code is there to show you the fee.

@BartD: If that’s true that everyone who gets the ACA credit needs to send their 1095-A in, that’s going to be a lot of paper being used to send them notices because my 1095-A says they sent a copy of the IRS? Hell, I wouldn’t even know where to send the form since I can’t find anything on sending it in, until and unless I get the letter. :(

Used HRB to file, submitted returns on Jan. 29th. Still pending! HRB says the returns have been submitted. But I haven’t gotten notice that they been accepted or rejected Not even received! I have been in contact with HRB technical support and they have no answer. And IRS can’t talk to me because they haven’t received my return! I’m stuck in limbo. It’s like my Returns are somewhere stuck in cyberspace. Frustrating!

The 570 code is for the obamacare penalty. We all have it. People who filed before the 23rd are still waiting on their refunds. The system wasn’t ready for it. They have since fixed the system yet 58% of people who early efiled are still waiting on their refunds.

Maybe there is hope, guys. I filed and was accepted on 1/25. I have a friend that was also. She got her ddd on last Thursday with a date of 2-2. As of right now I have only had 1 bar on wmr and my account transcript was all zeros, return transcript unavailable.

Check my transcripts an hour or so ago, it was the same. Just checked, my return transcript is available now and says a cycle 20150503. Weird thing, it says it was received on April 15,2015. I think they’re having computer issues.

I’m confused on the 1095-A, primarily because the lady I spoke to this morning (who was fiddling around, asking for SSN #s, filing type, refund amount) supposedly looked at my return and while didn’t shed any light she said “still processing, 21 days, but I don’t see any letters being sent out or anything”, but the reasoning I’m confused because I didn’t send my 1095-A in? Even the 1095-A doesn’t say to send it in, it says THEY send it to the IRS?

From what I have seen on FB you should get your deposit on 2/11.
Seems that everyone who filed as early as you got pushed off and some say the IRS told them they were not actually accepted until 1/21. But a ton of people are saying they have a DDD of 2/11. Hope this helps.

I was accepted on 1/26 but the WMR bars disappeared the same week and have not returned. I was able to pull up my transcript today and I have the cycle code 20150403, which according to other sites means I should have already received my refund…I haven’t.

I was married in 2014 and my husband had an outstanding debt that shows on my transcript, that they deducted from my refund(which I expected), then underneath I have code 846 with the new adjusted refund and the date of 2/23/15. I checked last years and it said 2/24/14 but I received it on the 7th….

Guess I’m just highly confused on what’s going on. Whether I’m still processing or what…gotta love tax season! Any info would be appreciated :) Thanks!

I’m no expert but from reading several diff. sources, including this forum, I *think* if you are daily, transcripts update at midnight Monday through Thursday. If you are weekly, then once a week at midnight on Saturday.

Friday/Saturday/Sunday either don’t process or don’t provide updates. I’m a little unclear on that part but it’s my understanding if you don’t see an update when you wake up friday morning, you won’t see one again until tuesday morning if that makes sense.

For what it’s worth, I filed 1/19, accepted 1/20. I can see all my transcripts and have 896/570. Cycle code 20150402. No further updates for me.

I’ve also read that tonight we should see a big update but no idea if that’s actually true.

In my dream world, i’d update tonight with a DDD for friday.

Almost found this out the hard way…
If you’re going to receive your refund on a GreenDot card and you filed married/joint, BOTH names need to be on the card’s account or they will reject the deposit. The only way to get both names on the account is to buy a second card via the GreenDot site, under the “Upgrades” tab when logged in, and costs $4.95. The good news is that it only takes a few minutes and is effective the moment that the transaction is completed and you see the charge appear in your account history. You don’t have to wait until the new card arrives.
I confirmed this via online chat on the GreenDot site.
I hope that this can save someone some grief and aggravation. :)

So I called to verify around 1 pm eastern time today and they told me that they didn’t even need verification and that my acceptance date had changed from the 29th to the 2nd
And that there are no transcripts available. Why did I get this notice then if I didn’t need to verify

@BartD: When you say form 8962 you mean literally form 8962 right? As in, almost all (that I’ve used so far for people) e-files include that in the return, which is why I’m asking. I’m somewhat curious if the reason I (along with others) might be held up is because both on here, and other sites people are saying they’ve called (and received letters) and been told they need to send the actual 1095-A that the marketplace sends to you as well? Any input on that?

Yes, you will. I do know that many of us, 1/30 filers could order or transcripts around 11pm est last night, I’m sure you will be able to see yours late tonight or tomorrow. Just wait til morning and I berry you will be able to see them. There you go, watch some Bad Boys II. That movie makes me happy, no matter the problem!

@DJ… I just contacted the bank where my refund is being sent through and the fees have already been taken out. The lady said I will have it tomorrow. You can go on SBBT website or whoever is processing your return and it will tell you if they have gotten their fee and if they sent the money to your bank.

@ RunMeMyMoney: yes, stop listening to the negative comments. Even if you get one transcript, it is a good thing. Do not try again (online) or it will lock you out for 24 hours. That will drive you nuts. This is ALWAYS stressful, especially when you NEED you money. Find your zen place, drink a beer, watch your favorite movie, and relax. Unless you outright lief on your taxes, you’ll be fine.

@laura_instenes: your refund is on hold (570) because Treasury needs to collect your penalty (896) for ACA. So we are waiting on IRS to release the funds to us. No one knows but IRS knows when will that day be but some of us has called and were told it has been lifted last Fri. Now we are waiting to see if we will see something this week or next.

@NVKimi: I go with the update on Wed into Thurs. I do really hope for something tonight or tomorrow morning though. But I wouldn’t be surprise if no update tonight and tomorrow. But if none over the wkend out…it is time for me to freak out lol.

A 570 usually means they are manually reviewing your return and may require additional information, If you get a 971 that means they are mailing you something.
