Take this with a grain of salt, as it isn’t “official” obviously, but tax refunds to be delayed at least a week, according to a news story published on wishtv.com out of Indianapolis
They were going to charge me 149.00 for my taxes this year but I ended up passing because 149.00 for a simple return?!? When in store it’s not nearly that much!! It was the new feature they had this year called TT pro. I thought hmmmm that may work until… I heard the price, plus audit protection plus fees for their bank… Import fee from last year even though I used them last year?!?!? It was looking to be upwards of 300.00…

If you have a simple return, you can do your taxes through Turbo Tax and use Absolute Zero. Costs nothing for federal and absolutely nothing for state.
I did mine through Turbo Tax and never received that message. In fact, I checked Kansas state refund and it says the money was deposited into my account yesterday, although, it hasn’t posted to my account yet. :( Hoping it will soon! :)
Thanks for letting me know, Heaven. I was just wondering because Green Dot said they post deposits immediately. Since it still hasn’t appeared, it had me wondering. I’ll wait and see what happens over the course of the day and into next week. :)
I did my taxes on tge 1/8 and got accepted on the 12th. Has anyone got any bars since then. I am wondering How long does it really take
Oh wow, it’s just horrible how these companies like to rip hard workers off. I think I can recall last year TT and several other companies were apart of an investigation or a law suit from predatory tax prep practices. I really hope they give the money back to its customers.
Anyone receive a ddd for state of new jersey, I filed on the 16th with TT, my federal was accepted in an hour, state was accepted on the 20th, state website still says they have no record, not getting a ton back from state but just curious if anyone knows
No change on wmr. My state (wisconsin) has DDD 1/29.
I heard on the news today people that used turbo tax were overcharged and they were going to refund that money back.
I filed my taxes through TaxSlayer and it told that KS is not set up for efile yet. Does anyone know where I can file my state taxes that has EFile available and it wont cost me an arm and leg?

If after the review and their are no issues you will get an update on WMR with a ddd but watch the video hope this helps I know this sucks we are all needing that money but at the moment if your bars are missing a tax person has to manually review your return.
My OK state refund was approved this AM. Filed on the 11th, approved by state on 20th. Says plz allow up to 5 days for funds. Woohoo! Now just waiting on Fed bar to move
Nope not yet, and like others I went back and checked my transcripts from prev years and I always get my ddd between 7/14 days of when they open so Im working on relaxing and enjoying the conversations…trying not to freak myself out with all of the info going around

Has anyones ohio return been processed yet. mine was excepted on the 15th and it says no information
No, still the same but I’m not going to freak out about it because looking at my transcripts from the previous four years it’s at least 7/10 days. I also noticed except for the 1121er’s from last year my refund is usually here around 2/10-2/11 last year 2/21 pervious years no later than 2/11.

Indiana is slow with everything! I guess I just need to be patient! Errrrr…. I called the state tax number & it says that my info is not in the system. I sent freetaxusa.com a message and this is what they said in reply to my question: That it takes a little longer for state to process returns especially in the beginning
No change for me. Filed 1/14, accepted 1/20, still one bar on WMR.
What option do you choose for HOH when checking on the status of your refund?
No state doesn’t go through Santa Barbara. Only your fed will. As far as your state give it a couple days to post to your account.

If you file through TT and opt for direct deposit, does SBTPG receive your state refund, too? I know they receive your federal so they can take out their fees, but what about state? I just checked and Kansas is reporting that they paid out my state refund yesterday but it is still not showing up on my Green Dot card. Any ideas on why? Not sure how it works with state and whether or not I have to wait for SBTPG to clear that, too, or if it goes straight to me. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks! Would have started a new thread, but couldn’t for some reason.
Filed and accepted 1/21, overnight update shows accepted says 2 weeks from now but no real date, anyone else?

Got a DDD for my Michigan refund of January 28th.
