i noticed the change of wording as well. I’m thinking it says that because federal tax debt isn’t included in the offset program. A few years back, we were clear on the hotline, then surprised when they took a huge amount for an old (10 years) federal tax debt.
The new wording does bother me, though. It’s like, you have no non-tax debt…. but we aren’t telling you if you have offsets for tax debt.

Ok, had to check on SBBT myself, as it wasnt finding me and my return has been accepted. This year I did the completely free, no fees whatsoever with TT and being direct deposited to my bank. In this case, SBBT does not ever get your refund, as there are no fess for them to process.

Call the IRS. I’ve heard from many sources today that things will update tonight whether you lost a bar or not but call and ask for supervisor. That’s what others were doing. They should be able to tell you. Been there saying a few prayers for you

I filed TT and let them submit my state since it was free. I got the accepted as well…which is odd since like Dan said, they dont start accepting until 1/26..I dont expect to see anything from PA for a while

I filed my taxes using HR Block site on the 19th. The irs site is saying they don’t know me and HRBlock site says its been transmitted but not accepted. Is anyone else having this problem and if so do you know what the problem is!

Well, I did learn a lesson. Don’t enter guesses for codes to get your return submitted quicker :( lol Dumb of me, I’m not getting my refund any sooner. And now the actual w2 has come. Should have just waited :( Will keep you all updated on if Indiana status changes though.

I called the number that is listed this morning. The reason I am getting directed to that agency is when I tried to log in I forgot my password entered the wrong one and then had to do a pw reset…They said it will flag that account and make you talk to them if you need a transcript to ensure your really you but that the refund will not be effected.

Filed HR block 0700 efile. WMR showed by 1200 but did not receive any text/email update until 900pm the same night 1/20/15.

Filed wife’s hr block 1140am. Still not accepted or on WMR as of 1/21 @ 1210pm. Odd but expected. With the IRS. It can happen anytime in the next 2 days though.

Yes I am having the same issue. First it said it wasn’t ready when I filed my federal, so I went back this weekend and finished it. And it still says pending now. I filed on Turbo Tax. I actually messed one of the fields up on one w2, the state employee id number, so I’m kind of hoping both returns get rejected so I can go back and file on the Freedom version of Turbo and save myself $112. But, I thought maybe my Indiana return was taking so long bc of that error, but I’ve seen a few people say theirs is pending still too. So maybe they are just slow this year.

Thank you for that information Michael. It helped alot. There have been people stating that they have DDD and I find that to be untrue. It’s so childish to play with people and say that you have a DDD when you don’t.

PA will not start accepting tax returns until 1/26. Not sure how/why TT is showing accepted but the easiest way to handle PA state tax returns is through their own free website.

Question, if you do taxes for free through TT then will the refund even have to go through SBBT? Wouldn’t it just go right to your bank account from the IRS?

@Jamie From what I was told by the IRS last year – similar incident happened to me, the SSA doesnt get the IRS the wage info until March and the IRS doesnt start working this until May (After tax season) ; so by the time they notify you, its almost a year later, and that is if they catch yours; being short handed it may not even get to that point. Or atleast that is what the IRS worker told me last year – could be wrong and it would be great for someone to weigh in here. You could wait until you get your refund then amend asap so you avoid penalties and interest etc.

WMR is up for me, was excited when I saw HeavenScent101 saying it was unavailable, thought it might be down for updates, but as I said, I am still just showing that the irs has accepted my return with one bar

@Dion My wage transcripts were available the day after I filed and were blank so not sure that means much – especially if they are blank. Its the return transcript that is supposedly an indicator that they are finished processing and approved. Or thats what I have picked up on from prior years – after the return transcript was available I got my DDD a few days later…

I filed last night through TT and mine was accepted this morning. Now this is the first time I have ever filed and not went to a company to do it. When I did state last night TT told me that I would have to fill out a paper and send it in, but now they are not saying anything about it and say they don’t track the PA refund. So how do I know what paper I’m supposed to get and when I should send it in?

I filed on 1/9 and got accepted on 1/13, I checked my transcripts around 9am EST and had my wage transcript but it was blank. I don’t know if having wage transcript is good or not I just checked because I seen others talking about checking for Transcript.
