One last thing:
Even thought its really not allowed, if you’re slick and know how to get past gatekeepers, the Bureau of Fiscal Services is the best place to start looking for your refund if not received after a certain time. Even though the IRS will not tell you this. Fiscal Services is who the IRS gets the information from when tracking or investigating a refund. 😉
Continued: Once a refund is approved and posted to the master file (check your transcript), it is then forwarded to the Bureau of Fiscal Services for direct deposit. The is a large office here in Philadelphia, Pa. and there are a few more across the country. They direct deposit federal payments such as Social Security and Tax Refunds. The also process payments if you owe the IRS.
Your refund will be received from the US Treasury. Not the IRS.

While you were clever regarding tricking the customer service Rep you spoke with, the statement you made regarding all refunds being sent last Friday is inaccurate. The IRS sends refunds on all 5 banking days. (Mon-Fri). I know this because I have a relative who works for the Bureau of Fiscal Service. Refund deposits are based off IRS Master Files. The payment had to post to the master file for release. Please do not spread inaccurate information. It’s not fair to others.Regular Green Dot here. Have had account for almost a year. DDD 03/04. No EITC or child credits or any credits for that matter. I have a number to get through to Green Dot corporate. Guy I spoke with earlier said there was nothing there. This was about 4pm EST. I see alot of folks hitting. Fingers crossed.

I have Green Dot too. I’ve had my Green Dot account almost a year now. I will say this, there have been multiple occasions where they have posted my paycheck very late so..

I’ve been reading that those who DD to Cash App are having problems. I’ve seen quite a few say the the DD is being declined and they’re being mailed paper checks.. just a heads up. Hope u get it..
