So I filed 1/31 got accepted and approved same day….have had blank transcripts and stuck at one bar since then…this morning check my transcripts and it used to say as of 2/23…now it says as of 3/2. Does that mean they are processing my return now? I know I got pushed back but will they process my return now?

Ok, this is strange. When I logged in under my husband’s info, his transcripts have all filled in, but if I log in under my info, they still say N/A. We filed jointly. Why would mine not be filled in yet if his are?

Should I ignore it and assume my DDD will be based on the cycle translation of Wednesday 2/18/2015 and not 03/02/2015??

FIled and accepted 01/16, lost bars and had standard processing message a week after filing. Saw all my transcripts pretty early on and never had any offsets or bad codes, everything ending with credits. Finally today I saw something different on my transcript, looks like they took a small portion of my refund and applied it to an old 1040 tax year, and also states a 971, notice to be issued March 2,2015, but also shows credit getting applied to 1040 tax on 02/23/2015. I do not have any 846 for refund issue however. DOes this mean its coming and the notice is going to be regarding the reduction. I would think I would be looking at the 02/23/2015 date for the credit to apply to that year, because the refund has to be approved and payed for them to do that fully correct? Any thoughts would be great. WMR still no bars, just processing…..also looks like im a 5’er

I sent my taxes in on 01/27/2015 and was approved same day. I had 1 bar and that went away 02/09/2015 now it just says “Processing refund..” bull crap! I dont have any changes this year either except the OBAMA CARE fee for my daughter and I am getting pissed off! I HAVE used Taxslayer for 7 years and no trouble. I always get my refund 7 days later. I dont know if it is because I filed before 01/31 and it got lost in all the ones that came in after or if it is because of the Obama care but I cant see my transcripts it says call identity theft number which says “Not taking calls at this time due to high volume” I am so frustrated. I need the money NOW! I have legal fees that have to be paid soon!!!!

I’m so frustrated right now! I filed my taxes on 2/6 and it was accepted the very same day. I’ve done my taxes with Taxslayer for the last 8 yrs, but this is the first time I have not received a DDD listed on the IRS website. I’ve always checked online and within 3-4 days the bar would go from accepted to processed. Nothing has changed with our W2’s and we still claim the same amount of kids. I tried calling the IRS to see if I can make sense of this and it’s impossible to talk to someone. My husband keeps telling me we’ll get our DD in a few days and I should ignore what Where’s My Refund is stating. I think we should worry!

Hi Bart,

Just wanted to give you an update. WMR still shows generic message of ” A refund will be provided when available” with tax topic 152. Good news is, I am finally able to view all my transcripts! Account transcript has a cycle date of 20150605 and date 03-02-2015 with codes of 150, 806, 766, 768, 846 refund issued 03/02/2015. So relieved to see some progress since this is our second year of having an IP PIN. Thanks for your help!

Bumping this thread up, because I wonder if anyone with Obamacare or the penalty has gotten their refund yet, and if anyone knows why they’re getting a DDD so far in advance (March 2). Usually when you’re approved you get a DDD a couple days later.

I was accepted a week ago today, would’ve had my refund already in the past. The ONLY thing that is different this year for me is the Obamacare thing. I’ve heard to expect to add 1-2 weeks extra processing time. My transcriptions show N/A.

Anyway, anyone with Obamacare/penalty get their refund yet and how long did it take if so?

thinking about it it would be real nice to confirm that the “Date” is not the DDD date – the “cycle” is teh DDD date…BUT….the problem is once people get their DDD and DD they no longer hang around here!

I also noticed teh tabs dont translate in my message above so just to clarify:

the line with CODE 846 “Refund amount” has a CYCLE of 20150605 and a DATE of 03-02-15…assuming the CYCLE translates to 2-18-2015 as I’ve read here, are we sure or can anyone confirm that teh DATE is meaningless as far as DDD goes????

I am assuming that no one got an update from WMR today. I know I am still the same and no transcript. Good news is my state, Indiana, updated with a total today on their version of WMR. That has always meant the ball is rolling on that part of the refund and hopefully a DDD of that on Tuesday since Monday is a holiday.

I’m in the exact same boat, Sarah B. My cancellation and notice issued dates are just the same as yours. What I’d done is file my fiancé’s return to be deposited in my account and the bank rejected it. It can also happen if you enter in your account or routing number incorrectly.

I just spoke with an IRS rep and was told the 03/02/2015 date is the latest I will see the notice in my mailbox explaining why I’m getting a check instead of a direct deposit. She then said from that 03/02 date that it could be up to TEN weeks until I got the check itself. Now she did also say it takes a little longer to receive the check for us because the name on the DD account was incorrect. If you just transposed numbers your wait could be considerably shorter. And I’m sure any date given is worst case scenario anyway.

Not to continue to bombard you but I have a quick follow up question! And again, thank you so, so much for the service you’re providing!

I just got off the phone with a really nice IRS rep who at first couldn’t even see the 971: Notice Issued on my account. I was placed on a lengthy hold and she came back on saying she’d done something to refresh her system and finally could see what I saw.

She told me that the date 03/02/2015 is the date I’d get the notice in the mail and that from that date we’d be waiting up to TEN weeks for the refund check. Do you have any frame of reference for knowing if that’s accurate at all? She said that due to me attempting to put his refund in an account under my name that it would take longer than if I’d just transposed a number on the account or routing information. I was totally prepared for it taking another week or so….but ten?! And not starting that ten week count until 03/02?! I’m seriously bummed out. Do you have any insider information that might cheer me up? Are they just quoting some ridiculously far, far away date in the super off chance it ever were to take that long even though we may get the check far sooner? I seriously hope so.

I filed through TT on 1/24 accepted right away. Can’t get into transcripts, tells me to call the identity hotline which I did and was told that an error was encountered and it will be 4-8 weeks from 2/2. I feel like I am in a sinking ship. Are there any other early filers left out there who got this response?

I pulled mine up and went to the 2014 account transcript and it said “No tax return filed”. I filed and was accepted on Feb 6, a week ago. Could it possibly be too early? Since it says no tax return even though they have accepted my return?

My DDD was supposed to be 2/11/15 and I have not received it yet. After readding these comments, I requested a transcript from the irs and it has the codes for refund cancelled and notice sent with dates of 2-23-15 and 3-2-15. I don’t really understand these codes and why they show future dates. Can anyone explain what I should expect? Does this mean a check will be mailed to me? If so, any idea how long this might take?

I went int my account on the GA tax center and ordered a account summary you can so this with one of the links on the right side of the screen it take about 24 hr to see the letter. Anyway I pulled the letter up and the information was still the same on the site but what I was looking for was some type of DD date. I has a issued date of 2/17/15. I think this is the date the issue my refund wich would make sense because the deposit will show up on a Wednesday when they normally release funds. I don’t think its the date the letter was mailed to my home because I ordered the letter on2/11. So try this and see if you see an issue date. I was also able to order my federal transcripts this morning so it looks like I may get both star and federal in the same week this has never been heard of for me.

Just got off the phone with the IRS. I called on the 10th and was told that I had to wait one more day (21 days from acceptance). I waited until today and the lady says there are notes on my account and asked me what my conversation was with the previous person I spoke with. I told her he just told me to call back. She stated that there are notes that say he informed me that my return is under review and I will have to wait 8-16 Weeks!!! They do not need any information at this point and will let me know if they do by mail. She also asked me if I had filed my 2013 return! WTF is going on????

All I was able to order my transcript this morning. I hope my bars come back tomorrow. This was one of the most awful experiences I’m starting to hate the entire tax process. I filed on the 29th and lost my bars on 2/3 now in the 13th I was able to order my tax transcript. So I hope I will get a dd date for next Friday.

Hey michelle,

You can order your tax transcripts online through the IRS. I just typed tax transcripts into google and it took me there. Once you can acceas them, the cycle date will be on the account transcript.
