I got a 1120 reference code but the IRS has already received my refund back from the bank. That is what the lady told me when I called today she said they were in the process of processing my refund she told a little longer because they have to verify the names on the refund since it was rejected by the bank before they can mail me a check. My question is does it actually take the while 10 weeks before they will mail me out acheck

Filed on the 3rd of Feb, only showed one bar as well for about 3 weeks and then the message that stated it was still being processed and a refund date will be provided when available. I’ve also heard that it can be a lengthy process, so I will try to update with my outcome

My taxes where accepted on 2/13 and on 2/23 I got a DDD of 2/25 but until today I still haven’t received them in my bank, I even called my bank to find out if it was incoming but they said nothing yet they told me to wait a couple of days. I anyone else having this problem, usually my bank is pretty good at depositing that same day. I also checked my transcrips and they show Refund issued code 846. Could it just be the IRS is just behind if so would they post it on their website? Please any input of comments would really help and are appreciated.

Hi, I filed 2/27 accepted the same day nia for all transcripts w2 no info, account tc 971 notice sent $0 2-23-15 as of date 3-9-15 so I know I update every Friday, got the letter last Saturday cp74 my question is has there been reports of people getting their returns before the 6 weeks or is it just the IRS giving themselves time to get it too you? Here’s another question…We’re not part of the 100,000 1095-A’s that have had errors. I double-checked on CoveredCA just now to be certain.

I’m currently trying to touch base with our Tax Advocate(we keep missing each other) who has opened a Case File for us. Will a Tax Advocate be able to help us speed up the process in order to speed up the release of our refund? We are facing financial hardships and it’s the 11th hour for us and dire straits here.

Still no status bar on WMR. Still NO codes. NO transcripts for 2014. NO letter from IRS. Refund amount us unchanged.

*update* Filed originally 1/20 and accepted same day. On my 21st day I called and was told a letter would be mailed because I was missing form 8962 and would need to send in form 1095-a, the letter, and form 8962. Finally got the letter on 2/17 and faxed in the stuff the next morning. I called last Friday and she said that she couldn’t see where it was in my file, it didn’t mean that they didn’t receive it, but they haven’t put it in the system yet. I called again on Tuesday and the guy told me that they received it and it would be processed within 10 business days and I should get my refund in 4 weeks. I checked my returns several times yesterday and they updated around 9pm. I could finally view my 2014 return transcript but the account still had not updated and showed no return filed. Today I checked and my account transcript updated with 846 code and cycle date of 20140805… after researching that means that refund issued and DDD is Tuesday. WMR hasn’t updated yet, hopefully tonight. So I guess it varies with everyone since I just sent in the stuff last week. Will update when I actually get my refund.

I call on Monday 2/23 about my refund that was filed Turbotax and accepted on 2/21. The lady said that they had all of the issues with the fraudulent returns in the first week or two and that my return actually did not get into the system until 2/3. In addition, she said they are about two weeks delayed processing returns from their stated 7-10 business day projection. She said to add two weeks to 7-10 business days from 2/3, and that’s when I should expect it. This would mean I should expect the return between today (2/26) and next Tuesday 3/3.

Also, sometime between Tuesday and just now, I am getting a different message on the dept of revenue online lookup screen. I was getting the “unable to provide info about your return electronically” message, but it now says “your 2014 return has been received. A direct deposit of your refund has been authorized and should be issued within 10 days”.

They are just very delayed and have done a piss poor job of communicating it.

Has anyone received the 4464C Letter from IVO = Integrity and Verification Operations letter 2 years in a row?

Last year (2013) I received the IVO letter 2 weeks AFTER I received my full refund. The IRS did not send anymore letters last year nor did they contact me.

This year I filed on 2/3,
It was accepted 2/4
I received my full state refund 2/8,
On 2/18 I received the 4464C Letter from IVO letter (the same Exact one I received Last year) the letter was dated 2/13.
On 02/23 my WMR bar disappeared and Still says ‘processing’.

I am confused on why I received the SAME letter last year (after I got my DD) & this year (Before I get a DD-I’m still waiting). I will post any updated info as I get it.

filed/accepted 2/6..had 1 bar on wheres my refund up until 2/23..when the bars disappeared. No update. No deposit date. this is day 20. I will be calling the IRS tomorrow. Here is what my WMR says:

I have written before and I have another question for you today :) I filed Jan. 29 and was accepted the same day and then about 2 weeks later lost my bars but my refund amount was still there and no tax topic even though when I had my first bar it showed tax topic 152. Now today when I check WMR my refund amount is gone and I am showing tax topic 152. Still nothing when I check my tax transcripts. Could this mean they have finally gotten to my return? They said that I was in the error department when I have called the last 3 times but no letters have been sent out and they are just waiting to get to me! Thank you!

I filed on 2/13 and accepted the same day. My bars disappeared on 2/20 as well as my tax (152). I have yet to receive any update from WMR, but i have was able to log in to see my transcripts (haven’t been able to for a week now) today. It shows nothing but my Wage & Income Transcript and Account Transcript but those still say i haven’t filed. The other transcripts (Record of Account Transcript and Return Transcript) still say N/A. I’m taking this as a good sign that i am able to see this as much now, but only time will tell ultimately.

I filed on 01/25/15 and today is 02/26/15… still on “Your refund is still being processed”.. Impossible to speak to any live rep calling their contact number, I’m going over to the local tax office today to look further into it. I was given this number to contact (800) 304 – 3107 US Treasury, because you could use the automated system to see if someone else might of filed fraudulantly , but to no avail. Why am I being put in this position? I worked all year with 2 dependents, I think I should at least get a live person to tell me what the hold up is. My patience has no end, but my 1 yr old daughter does get hungry…

lisa yeah that’s why you are in errors department… cause they are going to remove the direct deposit… then covert it to check,,, you are going to be about another 2-3 weeks out… unless they let it slide seeing you are related and that’s what they are verifying

memphismom yes very normal u should feel good cause a lot of times wmr never even updates so your a def processing and wont have any more issues.. just hang in there

Jordan 1095a is a big issue this year and yes they may want you to send them a copy but if not they are correcting it.. errors only has 21 days so u have to be soon

mparker the HCAis what is delaying a lot of returns you have to wait if its been 5 weeks you have 2 weeks max before a ddd you just need to be patient… gotta love the irs

@ckamhouse: I don’t have any idea what the bars missing means, but I do know that this years taxes went by a lot faster, Last year I filed on 1/30 and got my refund 2/12 this year I filed 2/21 and got a ddd of 3/2 not even a week and a half later, were as last year it took damn near 2 weeks (although it felt like forever). so this year is moving pretty fast.

I just wanted to give a quick update and a little hope to those still waiting after sending in missing forms 1095-a / 8962. I faxed in the requested forms on 2/10, was able to see transcripts on 2/24 and WMR updated 2/25 with DDD of 2/27/15. Just checked SBBT (I filed through Turbotax) and they show that they received my refund from the IRS, so I am just waiting for it to be posted to my bank account. It looks like it is taking 3 weeks from the time they receive the missing forms for them to process your return and release your refund.
As soon as your transcripts update and you see the 846 code, you should get a DDD within 24 hours and your refund 5-7 days later. I know every case is probably different but I wanted to share my experience because I had all but lost hope that I would see my refund before April. Keep checking for your transcripts…they update throughout the day. I had a horrible experience this year, and will not be filing on opening day again. Good luck everyone!!

Hi Bart and thank you so much for your help. Here is my situation, i failed to read the new tax laws for this year, so i mistakenly tried to get more than 3 direct deposits put into one single bank account. I do all the kids taxes, and girlfriends, etc. so i take their small fee amount and deposit it into my account and the remainder goes into their accounts. The first 3 returns I did went fine and all the deposits were there when expected. However My return which is the fourth return and my sons which is the 5th is hung up. We were accepted on the 31st of Jan, had 1 bar for about 2 weeks with tax topic 152, now for another 10 days or so, the bar disappeared as well as tax topic, but the amount is still there and it says still processing. I called the IRS, the less than helpful lady said it’s in the error dept and that was all she knew. I have received nothing at all in the mail and transcripts are N/A. As I understand it, any subsequent refunds will be automatically converted to paper checks and mailed. Any ideas what is going on? What’s so complicated about converting it and sending it? Thanks for any insight you can give me.

Feb 18 Tax advocate sent notification to IRS to go ahead and process that it was indeed me and my husband who submitted the tax return.

Feb 20 Able to order account transcript (return transcript N/A)

Feb 23 called IPSU since we could not access transcripts online. Rep asked identity questions, confirmed ID theft said return was accepted 2/2 and got put in IPSU on 2/5 (This actually sounds accurate since 2/6 we lost bars).

Feb 26 WMR changed to your tax return has has been received and is processed like it did when we first submitted the tax return. It has dropped the “A refund date will be provided when available”.

My question is: Is this normal and do you think it is FINALLY being processed? My return still says N/A. If it is being processed why is it taking so long if the account return is showing up (can’t view it, can only order it). Do you think it is being processed by a computer or a person?

I am in the same boat, I’m in Kansas I filed on the 2nd of February and still no State refund. I called a week in a half ago only to find out that my return got pulled and its in another department, so I called the number that was given and had to leave a message, so I called again a few days later and left another message, ridiculous at this point. I found out that my return was pulled for manual review. I spoke to an actual person on Tuesday and she stated that it was finally approve and I should receive it in 3 to 7 business days. We shall see.

I am so sorry to hear of the troubles you are having!! It couldn’t come at a worse time, this I know!! My experience has nothing to do with sbbt, but I do know that when ordering transcripts it will often tell me the same thing while trying to ever my correct username and/or password for the account I created and have used. I believe it’s just a system error or something on the irs’ end, especially if you are completely sure that the information you’re entering is 100% accurate. As far as being able to speak with someone at the IRS, I couldn’t get through either when using the regular number, but I could with one I found online! 1-800-829-0582 and use ext 652 when it asks for the extension you were given.

I am sorry I can’t be of more help to you, but I do hope that this helps you some!! I wish you all the best, and will be praying for you! Please update when you find more information :)

@trisha07. Yes I called even after they told me about the review because I felt like they were giving me the runaround. I was told that it’s considered under review because the return had to go to the error processing department due to missed forms and that causes the review. They will then review the form to make sure the information matches up. I know they will give the generic 4-6 or 6-8 week answer but it only took three from the time they received my faxed info. I didnt receive a second letter just the initial missing paperwork letter.

If WMR says your check mail by date is 3/2, they will mail it out on that day. On 3/3 Wmr will update to your checK was mailed 3/2. So you will get it by Friday 3/6
