@Rae I still haven’t received an update or show anything pending either. I called Sbbt earlier and was told some 1-2 business day bs for it to show. She ‘explained’ the way direct deposits worked and honestly couldn’t gave been more wrong. What’s sad it there customer service people have NO Idea what’s going on and make up bs.

I’m sooo not doing my taxes with TurboTax next year to avoid SBBT and TurboTax is crap anyway!

So I spoke with a IRS rep today. Told them it’s been well over 21 days since I filed and got accepted. Like I stated before all bars disappeared stating date will be available when processed. The rep said my returned got “resequenced” on feb 6th and the only code he saw was for education credit in which I got a 1099t for but no letter mailed no flags on his end. Any insight? He gave a little sun ray of hope saying it could be released any day now once the review is done but I need to completely understand this re sequencing process.

DDD 2/19 also…. I use BB&T. I’m patiently waiting by the computer! This is the FIRST year I’ve received a DDD without an audit so I’m ecstatic! LOL. Still nervous…. Just waiting…. Active BB&T acct and the refund is not over 5k so I have high hopes.

Filed 2/5/2015 accepted the same day. Received code 9001 2/15/2015 called irs today got a rude lady seemed like she wanted to rush me off the phone all she told me was to wait the full 21 days but wmr said i could call if I had questions. Anyone else have this code?

Sorry for omitting the details. I filed Jan 23rd and accepted hours later. Supposedly, NC always uses this general statement even if you are expecting a DD. Using Netspend so I’ll be patient but MAN, I will be SO HAPPY when I get anything after this year’s fiasco.

Turns out I called for an advocate last Weds
due to needing peocessed asap fpe FAFSA
they assigned me an advocate in Seattle on my 17th day so that was very nice. Drove down rook my ID and w2s etc… talked to them today
my return was sent for expidiated process
identity issue and was flagged as unpostable
the advocate couldnt promise but she said good chance of less than 30 days to get my refund since its the only issue.

Trav that’s totally normal, that isn’t usually filled in until July or so. The one on the bottom left, account, is what you want. 846 refund issued and a cycle date like 20150605. That’s what ya want!

I think the best thing to do is make sure you don’t overpay into your taxes next year so you will receive your money in your paycheck, and not get a refund. :) Then, you’ll just pay them a small bit… on April 15. Wait until the last minute to pay THEM!

dave yes that would be the 2 stages if you ere in errors the only reason they would send you a letter is if ur refund amount changed

chatami yes i did say that but they are verifying what they claimed. so what that means is the w2 that was claimed is what is being verified… they have no clue of the other w2 until october or later this year. so they arnt looking to verify the 400 they are looking to verify the other amounts u are claiming

I filed with tax act on 1-23-15 accepted the same day. I called the Louisiana Department of Revenue and they stated they have no return on file. I spoke with a lady and she said this was not uncommon. She stated I may see it in account by the 24 of Feb. no later than March 13. I really just want to know what is going on. Hey Bart, I called the irs this morning and it took a while for them to find my return. I waited a week after calling them and today she said it is out of correction error but there are two stages left. Please tell me it’s refund approved and refund sent. She said there is a code where they might send a letter if needed. Filed on the 20th I’m hoping I’m seeing light at the end of the tunnel. What other stages could there be after correction error?

Thanks again. I noticed you told someone else with a 1121 that their wages might be under review due to a blank wage transcript. I didn’t put the additional 400 in my taxable income since I completely forgot about it. So not only did I not provide a w2 I didn’t include the amount in my income I wish they would tell me what’s wrong so I can fix it grrr. Also the ta I spoke to would not even look into my account since I didn’t have a real reason to according to her. Any advice on how to get them to look into it account. She said it’s because I’m under review and need to wait. Have you known anyone in the same situation and received their return yet

They will send you a paper check. I see that some people have had their refund mailed out a few days after the rejection date, but you may be in the same boat I am. For whatever reason, my bank rejected the DD due to some information being incorrect. I know for a fact that I entered all the information correctly, but we are beyond that now. I spoke with a nice lady from the IRS who explained to me that I got the 971 code due to some information being entered incorrectly and not matching, my direct deposit being rejected and that it was going to be reviewed and that I should allow 10 weeks from the notice they will send out (won’t be sent out until 3/2) for them to send anything after the review. Hopefully it won’t take that long, but I’m not counting on it. It would be nice to have the money now, but I’m not depending on the money for anything really. Keep checking your transcript and WMR daily, they won’t be able to expedite it or anything like that.

I filed our taxes on 1/27, and was accepted on the same day. Stayed on recieved for 2 days then went to “processing tax return”. Stayed there for about 2 wks. Wen to request transcript and I was told to contact the IPSU. Called and was told to re-send my tax return that I filed online, because it was reset in the system. Has anyone else had to do this? If so, how long did it take you to get your taxes back afterwards?

chatami reviews can be random and i know ur upset but realize that they just thought something was odd about your return and are looking at it. this happens all the time even if you have a ddd…. the other w2 is not the reason… your going to have to wait and see what they want

nicki as long as ur income is the same as you are claiming and same as the taxes taken out u will be fine. yes turbo tax might have something to do with it and might be the higher deductions but if your telling the truth and have everything all you have to do is send it and they will release it

Unfortunately, when I called the verify dept they transferred me to the main line and a new irs rep basically told me the previous rep was wrong. that my refund is under review to manually review and check for accuracy. Can take up to 60 days and that’s all he told me. I’m super frustrated. I wasn’t pleasant towards they end so hopefully he didn’t make a bad note but he has not helpful nor nicE. Have you heard of this issue beforE where they manually chose and review your refund even though you had a DDD at one poinT. If my missing w2 isn’t effecting it’s frustrating there’s not much I can do untIL April womp womp

My 971/570 code was lifted on Friday and I got a 571 action complete and 846 refund issued code that day as well. I never got a letter in the mail, didn’t do anything on my part to “complete the action” but instead of a dd like I reuqested, I’m getting a paper check mailed to me by feb 23. I tried to be patient but couldn’t and called every day for 3 days and just lied about when they accepted my tax return so I could talk to someone.

I have a debt; thus, an offset. I still have a DDD 2/19 and a message on WMR that simply says part of my refund was used to satisfy the debt. Filed and accepted 02/06; approved 02/14 with ddd 02/19…. I never pulled transcripts because I didn’t want to panic.

I filed mid-day on 2/10 and was accepted within the hour. I checked WMR the following day and it said that it was accepted and had the 152 code at the bottom about refunds. There has been no movement since then. While I realize it’s only been a week, I felt like things were moving slowly. I felt like I have had more information in the past at this point. When checking emails, I was correct. Last year, I had full refund in the bank in 7 days. The year before, I had the refund in 8 days, but was notified by SBBT several days prior. I’m just wondering what the hold-up is. Nothing funky about my return, either. Two income household, two children, but no child care deductions. Just bums me out that it feels that it’s taking so long.

Hey there. I rec’d the same message and cannot find any definitive answers. Some suggest it is just a website glitch and others claim that when they called they ended up having to FAX a bunch of stuff to confirm their identity (Drivers License, SSN, etc).

I just want to check the status of my refund because the IRS site has had me stuck on the second bar for weeks now. I’m reluctant to call because I don’t want to trigger some red flag that will require me to FAX anything which might delay my refund further.

SO, I am anxiously awaiting replies to YOUR question in hopes that someone might respond who can tell us what the message means and whether or not we should worry.

Everyone, ur $$$ will b deposited on ur DDDate…. The reason sum banks/prepaid cards show deposits anywhere from 1-3 days early’ is because the depositing bank (either IRS or a bank the IRS uses’ sends a ‘notice of direct deposit’ to EVERY bank 1-3 days b4 the actual DDDate…. MOST banks do NOT credit ur account immediately based on the ‘notice of DD’….. But sum banks/(example: USAA, Woodforest, Navy Credit Union, and many others idk about) r courteous and ‘float’ u the money immediately. If u have a bank that’s nice enough to float u the money early, you’ll notice that the flaot deposit will ALWAYS show pending until the actual direct deposit date. ALL U.S. banks send these DD notices anywhere from 1-3 business days early. In order for deposits to smoothly take place on the DDDate, the banks must communicate 1-3 days b4 the deposit. There r a lot of reasons y they do this but I’m not getting into that. I know this because I was a manager in the ACH department for a local bank for 4 years. I am well versed on this whole, what everyone calls, “getting my DD early”. Well, technically, there r no early DD’s. When the depositing bank sends the DDD notice, it’s simply a notice (think of it as an email from bank to bank stating ‘your’ account will b receiving X amount of dollars on X date.. . the money physically does not get sent any earlier than 12 hours 1 business day b4 12 a.m. on the scheduled DDD. Now most ACH departments r given specific instructions NOT to ever explain this because everyone would call the up and ask y the freak that bank won’t just post/float the deposit since the depositing bank has just told their bank that they r sending $$ to ur account on a given day…. Now I really hate banks that do not post/float the money when they get the DDD notice…. Think about it, a DDD notice from one bank to another is a GUARANTEE that money will b n ur account soon…. And this is the reason those few banks out there post/float the money as soon as they get the DDD notice… And the majority of banks that refuse to do so do under the premis they physically have not received the money (which us true) but its BS!!!!!
I think I’ve explained this this issue good enough and honestly, out of all these forums, I haven’t seen anyone come close to the actual BANKING TRUTH so I had to chime in w the truth because it is hard for me to sit here and listen to everyone tell everyone else when they r getting their deposits…. Lol!!!

My question is this I’ve just recently been told by calling my state taxation Department (VA) that they are holding my state refund until I give copies of my W-2 /1099 for this filing year and also my last pay stub of 2014. they said they want to view my withholding ? they’re saying I was selected for random review because of all the fraud that has been going on and it’s not uncommon for this to happen & that I’d be receiving a letter but I can also fax this information/mail. Is this an audit ?

they guy I spoke with also stated that it could have something to do with the TurboTax as I filed right in the height of the hacking and stuff going on . I don’t know but this has never happened to me.

I guess my question is why would they be asking me for this information I do have the information and I intend on giving it to them . I guess I’m just worried because I’ve had more deductions and a higher refund than previously .

I got my Illinois federal refund in two weeks. The state was pending because of the exemption I filed for the new healthcare law. They accepted it on 02/03 and I’m still waiting. The website says 21 days for efilers to process.

Giving myself ulcer….Filed / accepted 2/5. One bar on WMR with tax topic 152, which is odd bc I know I have an offset. So get this….field state and fed same day, got a letter that my state return had been processed and $ taken (expected) dated the 10th???? That was only 2 working days! So I got really excited thinking I may get Fed in a timely manner. Well still sitting on one bar, I pulled transcripts and have a 570 and 971 code but no code for offset – could the 570 be the offset? I am literally freaking out. My cycle date is 20150605 and I read that if I add 4 days to that, that will be my DD date. Then i read that you can’t go by transcripts you have to go by WMR. So confused. Now I worry something wrong w/ return and I REALLY need it this year, like need it for gas to get to work! LOL :) Anyway have all kinds of codes and dates but I remember when I filed 2013 that I got a letter dated 3 weeks in the future (wow- fed gov has time machine! ) so I just don’t know. I feel like a blonde….(no offense, just trying to make light of very stressful situation for us all).
