Same boat… Submitted on 01/31, accepted within minutes for fed right at 12am 02/01.
WMR has the “delayed outside of normal processing time” message with the 152 code. No 2023 transcripts at all, except for the bottom two which have no info in them. Being told to “wait it out” is getting super frustrating because clearly something isn’t right…@casOne

The person that posted that the banks hold it is absolutely true. They see it on their end but they earn interest on our money while it’s in their coffers. Sometimes you can call up the bank and they will release it but usually they won’t.
I filed on 2/08 and was accepted the same day.
Does anyone know when the next update will occur?

When and How often does SBTPG update. Is it throughout the day or overnight?
I never got ahold of anyone. It tells me it was sent to my card, asks me if I received it, and if I say no it just puts me on hold for like 5 minutes then ends the call. This is my first year using HRB myself, and it will be my last.
still waiting on my refund that was deposited on 02/ 06 turbo tax thru santa barbara bank. santa barbara screwed up the deposit and my bank rejected it because they say santa barbara had my correct account numbers but coded it incorrectly . so my bank sent it back and santa barbara says they sent it back to irs but i called irs today and they are waiting on return of refund before they can issue a check. so itll be months before i see my money all thanks to santa barbara screwing it up.
Checking in, still the same for me. I have always been daily. Are they updating throughout the day today, or will it be more of an overnight update… if there is one?
not everyone who filed and is on PATH updated on the 16th. this is normal every year when PATH lifts. the returns are processed in batches that are randomly pulled from the collection bin where all PATH returns sit. when the hold lifts, their computer systems randomly select returns to process. they are not done in the order received. this is why some who filed early are still on N/A while those who filed later have a DDD. it takes a few updates to get through all of them.
They must have been working on refunds over the weekend cause mines just 000 but its still in green, plus i have the 10 business days notification now
so yesterday was a federal holiday so nothing will update until later today. its put everything behind and is so aggravating.
In the past, SBTPG hasn’t updated until after 10am EST. Continue checking throughout the day for updates. I’m in the same boat… waiting for the update.
@cinnamon The IRS sent the payments out last week. They don’t send them on the DDD or the ACH transfer wouldn’t arrive in time. All of our institutions are just holding on to our deposits to gain interest until the DDD
Anyone have blank transcripts and still have 2/12 as of date? Mine changed once to 2/26 then back to 2/12 and has not moved. Called today and says I have to verify ID AND return. No letter and wmd has never stated I have to verify anything but online account says I have to verify return.

My tax situation is the exact same as yours. However, I believe that since TT gives us our 21 days date like mines being 2/21 since I filed and was accepted 1/30, I will receive it tomorrow as opposed to the 22nd. However, if I do receive it on 2/22 our actual date I’m going to call the IRS so fast and ask them for my one day of interest lol. Idc idc idc, lol!I spoke with someone finally and she said my letter should be here today. I told her it’s not showing on my informed delivery. She made me do ALL the verification that they ask for except the code. It made no sense. Why put me through that just to see if the letter was sent?! I’m beyond frustrated! Said if it don’t come today to call back tomorrow. But I already know it’s not coming and told her that. Just think she was trying to get me off the phone 😩
Not yet for me, but I’m not expecting anything yet. I use BoA, and they have always been exactly on the DDD, never early, never late. It’s usually in the wee hours. I have always paid any fees up front.
Since other people using different banks are already getting theirs, I assume that IRS has already sent them all out, and banks like mine are just sitting on them. So at least I know it’s too late for them to suddenly decide something’s wrong and delay my refund!

Do you have anything on your transcripts? I made a post yesterday about these letters. Unfortunately our transcripts are blank but if you have a code 150 the 14 digit identity code is under the 150 code. You would use it without the dashes online to verify id. We never received our letter and never had this happen before. We are now waiting on the phone right now to see what they say.
For those that have already gotten their IDV letter, what day did you respond to the verification and have you gotten a DDD yet? Or a WMR status change?
Curious how long it’s taking to get refunds after verifying. It’s been years since my hubby has had to do one, normally his refund would come 5 days after responding. USPS shows mine is coming today. 🤞I’m a 570. Never took out any 401k/roth, filed 1/19 accepted 1/24. No notices shown on account page but usps informed delivery shows letter today so shall see what the bad news is. As of changed to 03/04 last week and as of for 2021 (Covid/actc stimulus payments year) changed to 02/28 last week as well. That was also last year I was married. Balance for all previous years shows 0.00 so if I owe, not sure what it’s for
have any of you gotten this letter yet? find it hard to believe that i wouldn’t have received it by now if it was sent on the 9th

Did you call the offset line and find out who and how much the offset was for? They also give information on who to contact about the offset.

All my research shows a pattern of this happening on Friday plus depending on who you bank with you may receive it Friday night 2/23/24Filed 2/7/24 accepted Same day. Good Luck!
My suggestion would be to get a tax advocate. They will definitely help you get the remainder of your money if IRS takes it. You can Google tax advocates and look them up for your area. IDK abt this being fixed before your DDD, but once you contact the TA, they call back within 24 hrs. I used a TA when IRS was doing a 60 day review, I explained I needed the money for rent and bills for me and my kids and the TA got it lifted in 2 days, so they work fast. Hey, everyone! Anyone who has a DDD of 2/22, could you pls post here and let us know when you get funded? Pls put who you bank with, what time the deposit hit, and if you had fees taken out if your taxes. This way everyone can get an idea when theirs will arrive!!!

I relocated to Maine and withdrew my 403b (essentially 401k but through nonprofit employer) and am seeing box 5b filled out, but not 5a. First time ever pulling from retirement account!
Hoping this gets resolved during the Friday updates! Very frustrating and first year I’ve ever had a return delayed.
.@iwantitnow Same situation here. Same acceptance date 1/19. Only my 570 (posted 2/8) turned to a 971 on 2/15. Seems that even though I am a daily, I only update Thursday mornings. But today is “Whyday” for the IRS. 21 days officially ended so they will get may phone calls.
At this point I’m trying to find someone with a 401k withdrawal that has received their refund this year lol. Bet I’ll never do another early withdrawal again smh, honestly had no idea it would open Pandora’s box come tax time

What I don’t get is, HRB tells me that emerald has recieved the funds on the 16th, then why do we have to wait till the 22nd if they already have the money? When I finally got in the phone with a supervisor she said “I’m not even going to lie to you! We were told to tell everyone that it was a glitch and that the 22nd is when funds will be issued”. So emerald is holding onto our money but they already got paid?! Like how does that even make sense! Sorry rant over.
Good morning 570 people! First time with a 570 delay for me too. I have had it before but I think that had something to do with the Covid stimulus payments a couple years back…. I used to be schedule C for years. Hurricane Ian changed that (Ft. Myers, FL) This year was W2 and I also took from 401K! So probably a combo of the two. Cycle Code 20240604. Used to be a weekly 05. Had fees taken from refund. I got the 570 about 2/8. I filed 1/19.
