Anyone still stuck on their WMR showing this?
Filed 2/10 (PATH) – WMR switched to this on Thursday. Acct transcript change to 2023 yesterday, but still says no return filed. Top two still N/A. No notices, no alerts about needing to verify. So concerned, I’ve never had an issue before.

No letters for ID verification or anything; no movement on WMR and IRS2Go. Nothing in the top two boxes of transcripts still “NA”) and nothing’s changed in the bottom two boxes that show 2023.
Still waiting for any movement. Why is it taking so damn long? Can you tell how frustrated I am??

Federal still says processing ddd will be updated when available. Has been for like a month now.Called IRS was told I have to wait until April 22 ( 10 week mark) to call back if I haven’t heard anything. I haven’t received any letters or notices. Was told by IRS that nothing needs to be done. Transcripts are blank. I’m thinking I may have to fill out the tax advocate form and send it in.

Finally! Verified 2/29 and got a full set of transcripts today!! 846 code for 3/20. It’s only 5 more days of waiting, not like they have my bank info and could just dump it right in there, in minutes ( /s ).

Completed my return-1/29 accepted on 1/29.. I got an advance and i am path.. 05 cycle.. didn’t realize I had to verify until I checked on the IRS website and logged into my account and my notifications said need more information . called to schedule an appointment and letter came before my appointment on 1/28, verified the letter same day online and just got my update today… DDD for 3/20.. also my wmr changed from still processing to being processed

My wmr updated to the same as Jays. Transcripts still blank as well. Praying we get dates tomorrow! No paycheck after this week due to having to refile with short term again! So we really need this $$$$$

WMR with my info showed Action Required until I verified on ID.me and that went away on WMR.
Anyone else out there do this same process? Trying to shed some light on this and get some answers or educated guess on when we may update with a DDD?

Called IRS last week and just the general answers of keep checking could take 9wks and no issues that they see BUT was an “action” on my acct that had been resolved a couple days ago, so not even sure what that means. Checked on IRS site and I have no notices.

@jay-b Okay- sounds great. I pray that it will be quick. And to everyone else, log on to irs.gov, choose- sign into your account. It will take you to Sign In ID.me- do so.
Look under Notifications – if you have – Verify Your Tax Return Information Now – you will need to wait on the letter. If you need help with the options to speak directly to an agent, let me know. Best wishes to you all beautiful people. -

@Brandon you are well past the 21 day mark so contact the IRS and have them give you the reason for the delay. if the agent you are on the phone with is giving you canned generic answers then hang up and call back and speak with another agent. some are just lazy and won’t bother to look it up or they will place you on hold and come back saying they dont know anything when in reality they didnt bother looking it up for you.

Hello I filled on Jan 31st was accepted Feb 1st. Simple 1040 no credits just a 1099 and w-2. Na for transcript says nothing filed. I used H&R Block. Wmr says sorry your refund is delayed beyond normal timeframe we know your tax return is important to you blah blah. I tried following the thread but sounds like people who filed the same time have already gotten an update? Any suggestions?

@chelsea oh perfect! once you verify, i know it says it can take up to 9 weeks but in reality, you will be processed in the next cycle. so if you get the letter tomorrow and verify right away then you might be processed for the thursday night updates. if not then for sure the monday overnight update..

@jay-b – Congrats!!! Happy it worked out. Yes, I’m waiting on a letter. It was shipped out on yesterday. That was good news to me. Considering the fact that the agents had no clue what was happening at first. I have to be verified. My account has the notification, I’m just waiting on the letter.

Filed 2/1 accepted same day nothing on transcripts nothing on wmr. Wmr still has the 151 code. I’m stressing and frustrated. Talked to the irs they told me nothing was wrong just a waiting game. Never took this long years before. Ugh!!!!!

@Labeba79 If you are a daily hopefully you’ll update (transcripts) by Tuesday with a DDD and if you are a weekly you should update on your transcripts on Friday morning between 12am and 6am. Fingers crossed for you to update.

I filed on 2/8 and it still processing. My transcripts are N/A. I called the IRS, I ask agent if I need to verified anything and she stated no it hasnt been 21 days. I check with ID me for any notices coming, it states nothing. No changes. I hope by next week I see some changes. Never had any issues until this year. Ugggg

Will there be an update into Saturday morning? My transcripts say no return filed and I filed 1/24 accepted 1/25 I got the first 21 processing message then it updated to processing a date will be provided not sure if I should be worried or simply just wait

Filled 02/02 2024 irs received e-filing same day . Stuck on refund being process on wmr for 20 days. Today Friday 02/23 checked wmr but changed from refund being process to refund being process. I quickly logged intoy irs account to check my transcript and got the 846 code for ddd 02/28. Is this a good sign ?

@chelsea i have a feeling the updates that people saw today were the last ones of the week. the only thing that updates on saturday is usually WMR but you never know so i would check tomorrow. if not then hopefully you are in the batch for tuesday/wednesday or thursday/friday next week

@Jimmie G Do not worry. Once you get your 846, it’s a done deal. My WMR never updates until after cash in hand the last few years. One year it never moved past accepted.

it’s weird I’m usually 03 or 04, but this year I was switched to 05. So happy to finally have a date. Stuck on “still being processed” for a week, but kept tax topic 152, never a notification to verify. I’ve seen somebody have that same message on where’s my refund, but they’re tax topic disappeared. Not sure if that matters at all?

If you got a transcript change today then wmr should update tomorrow. It’s usually a day later. I still have yet to see any changes since I filed. But good luck to those of you who have!

Just called IRS he said there an “action” on my acct that had already been resolved a few days ago and to continue to check WMR and transcripts should update within a few weeks. My acct did not need to verify he said So just the generic answers as usual and keeping checking. Ugggg

@jay-b Nothing yet. However, when I talked to the agent, she did say that there was a delay. There are no updates on my transcript. It still says N/A and the WMR still says “still processing”. I have seen in the past, where are updates on Sat. and Sunday. I hope everyone get there’s. I will update once mines change.

My WMR is still on one bar. However, in the last 3 years, my WMR didn’t update at all until AFTER I received my refund. So in my experience it has been useless to me these last 3 years. -

Mine is the exact same. 2 bottom transcripts say 2023 but are blank with as of date 3/11. Top 2 still sat na. I called Tuesday and she let me verify online without the letter. But nothing has changed on my account, still says I need to verify so I’m wondering if she actually verified me. I’m gunna try to call again today and see if they will let me verify again and they should be able to let me know if I’m already verified. -
Still no info on transcripts. As of date changed from 3/4/24 to 3/11/24 what does that mean and why??? This is second time it changed, it was 2/26/24 then changed to 3/4/24 now 3/11/24. WTH!!

The WMR and Transcripts can be updated anytime throughout the day. However, mass updates occur overnight between midnight and 6 am. If you’re a weekly the Mass update for transcripts is on Friday. And the Mass update for weeklies on WMR is on Saturday.

@marcamante there should be another update coming overnight tonight or overnight tomorrow so either tomorrow or saturday you may see an update. some are dailies and some are weeklies and if you did not update overnight last night, i am leaning you might be a weekly so you should see something with the update either tonight or tomorrow night. normally it would be tonight but with the federal holiday on monday, everything got delayed a day.

Same here. Still nothing for transcripts (all zeros for bottom 2). E-filed via TT 2/7 and was accepted 2/9 (PATHer). WMR still only shows accepted. State refund approved and issued 2/9 (received via BOA DD 2/14). Should I be worried about Fed return showing no tax return filed on my transcripts?

@chelsea anytime! also, the letter will say it takes up to 9 weeks after you verify for your return to be approved but in reality it is usually the next cycle of processing that your refund gets pushed through. i had to do it a few years ago and after i went through the process, she gave me the spiel of 9 weeks but she said it doesnt take that long and sure enough a few days later my refund was approved

I filed 1/31 and was accepted, married filing jointly. My husband has 2023 for both bottom rows on his transcript and I only have one 2023 on the bottom row on my transcript. Both say no return filed. WMR not updated either….

@chelsea ahh darn i was pulling for you to be updated this morning! hopefully you will get updated in the next batch which should be overnight tonight. however, if you have a verification letter on the way, you might not see anything until you do what the letter says. also, the agents sometimes really do not see the letters in your account that are being mailed out. if you log in your account and look under notices, its usually blank and that is exactly what the agents usually see

Us weeklies should update tonight overnight. Tomorrow we should wake up to a DDD on our transcripts. I called the irs earlier this week and an agent told me that I should see a DD in my account by the 27th. Which I have not updated yet but it is on the way have faith!

Still the same for me, no update last night :( All these people that got DDD complaining that they haven’t gotten their deposit days earlier than what’s posted… at least you guys got a date. This crap.

@chelsea the federal holiday on monday pushed everything back by a day. monday’s business was done yesterday so today is technically tuesday so we should hopefully see updates tomorrow morning.

I was accepted on 01/30/24. The IRS refund message states, “Still processing, date will be available” etc. I logged on my IRS account and there is a message saying that there is an identification letter that is going out to verify me. I called the 1-800-830-5084 number to see if it has been mailed. The agent told me that he did not see any letters under my account just yet. However, he did say that the letters were prepared on January 19th which was a holiday.

Only Acct transcript shows, but then states no return filed.
In past years I’ve always been cycle 03 or 04. As of date is 3/04
Never any notices to verify.
File through turbotax, but paid fee’s upfront. -
So just got updated e-mail from TT stating my refund is on the way not sure if this is a thing they do or if I updated and info hasn’t populated on IRS!!! Filed and accepted 2/8 and no movement since!!!! Posted on a few threads so in case anyone missed it. If you filed with TT check your email or if anyone knows of this is a general thing sent out!!

WMR has the “delayed outside of normal processing time” message with the 152 code. No 2023 transcripts at all, except for the bottom two which have no info in them. Being told to “wait it out” is getting super frustrating because clearly something isn’t right… -

@Queen since you filed on the 2nd, your 21 days will be up this coming friday so you can contact the IRS on monday to ask questions if you do not get any updates this week. at that point by law they have to tell you what the hold up on your return is and what to do to correct it.

@Queen a lot of people seemed to have had that update on WMR which just sounds like the system reflecting the time period from when you filed. i would not look too much in to it because there will be two big updates this week. overnight tuesday and overnight thursday so most likely either wed or fri you will see your transcripts and more accurate info.

I just checked my boyfriends Wmr ( he is a pather ) and was accepted on 2/6 and now has ddd for 2/22. I was accepted on 2/2 and I’m stuck on path message and transcripts on top are N/A bottom have 2023 “no record of return filed”… I really don’t understand how was he approved before me??? BEYOND ANNOYED lol

(cont.) i filed mine this past tuesday the 13th and mine did not update. my friend filed his the next day on the 14th and his updated when the holds lifted. the systems can only process so many returns in a day so if yours was not updated on friday, it will most likely be updated either overnight tues into wed or thurs overnight into friday. i hope this helps you better understand the process. it stinks but unfortunately that is how its done.

(cont.) its as if the bin was handed over to someone and they just reached in and grabbed a stack of them at once all with different dates they were filed. the systems do not process in the order filed and received. this is why some people who filed right as tax season opened got theirs processed and others did not and why those who filed later dates did.

so to give you all a clearer understanding of what happens when the PATH Act lifts, this is how it goes down. when you file a return that involves the PATH Act, your return is put in to a batch with all of the other PATH returns. think of your return as a file folder that is thrown in to a huge bin with all the other ones. this past Thursday when the hold lifted, the IRS systems started randomly processing returns.

I filed on 2-1, accepted within 30 minutes, no advance, fees taken out of refund. Filed using TT. My Transcripts are blank, except for the bottom 2 have 2023, but nothing else. WMR has the “still processing” message, and my online account says I have to verify my ID… no record of a letter being sent or anything. Frustrating!

Check the account transcripts my WMR never updated in time. Last year it updated after I already got my DDD. This year it updated the day after my transcripts. With EITC CTC credits.

No need to be concerned, that’s just the general processing message. I filed 2/9 no kids or path. There’s people that filed a week or 2 before that with the same thing for their transcripts. Until your transcripts update with any codes needing to verify it means they haven’t processed yours yet and if you are in the weekly cycle you will need to wait again til Next Friday like me for any possible updates.
