You could see a deposit the same day, but it’s not always the case. Also, if you want to fight it and say that they took from your portion of the return to pay a debt that you yourself were not liable for (pre-marriage/child support) you can file an injured spouse form.

826 is past due tax debt or something like child support or student loans. You can call the BFS TOPS line: 1-800-304-3107 to find out more about what was taken and why. If it was a tax debt you call the IRS.

My as of date changed from 1/3/22 to 3/14/22 and then back to 1/3/22. I didn’t catch it at first but I believe the as of date changes when the irs adds something to your master file. I noticed that they added my filing status MFJ. I had to file a paper return and it was received via UPS on 1-26-22. They would not have known what my filing status was since I mailed the return in. This at least let’s me know that they do in fact have my mailed return.

Every other year when I’ve checked my transcripts around 2am there’s nothing but around 4:30-5am is when I’ve seen mine update so when I get up for work I’ll be checking for sure.
I’ll probably wake-up from an internal alarm clock going off in my head telling to WAKE UP AND CHECK YOUR TRANSCRIPTS. Lol. I’ll let u know what happens. Have a good night

Wmr says Still being processed transcript has code 150 20220805 with date 3/14/2022 anyone have any idea?

Here is what IRS Code 826 Overpayment Transferred means on your transcript: your tax refund was diverted to old debt. It is as simple as that. It could be a student loan, child support, or any other debt. So, in essence, the IRS tax number 826 just indicates that your refund will be used to pay old debts.

How the F are some people already approved for refund in less than 2 weeks with filing date beginning of March, when I filed late January, through the advice of the IRS to file early due to backlog this year, and I still have no update on my file?!?!?! I have no errors, everything is correct. WTF!?!?!?

Missone i just double checked everything and I made a mistake. My return was actually accepted on Thursday 3/3. WMR updated Wednesday 3/9 to approved and shows deposit date of Friday 3/11. I was shocked it was so quick this year. . I hope you update soon.

UGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

2 hours on hold including 20 minutes with the rep. I WOULD first call the advocate’s office, they didnt help me but put me in a cue that i didn’t get hung up on. Finally rep comes on after verifying my identity with questions, tells me i WILL be getting a letter (NOT THAT ONE HAS GONE OUT !!!) and then upon successful verification it will take 9 weeks!!! WTH!!!

I filed early February, WMR has had delay message and my transcript as of date changed from 3/7 to 3/14 last week. NO codes.

My return is the same every year, about the same refund, and the only thing that has changed is instead of 1 W-2 i have 4 W-2s. NO stimulus, no dependents, NO credits, just some wages, itemized deductions and that’s it.

HOPE everyone else waiting gets better news.

I saw someone commented and said the agent told them they are taking the new returns after February 14th and working their way down. It means the early filers are LAST IN LINE. Something to do with people filing that has kids, and they are not supposed to process those returns until Feb. 15th by law. So, people filing before that are screwed.

@T My Where My Refund Status was showing “still being processed since 1/26. I checked this morning, and it now says being processed. Not sure if that is good or bad at this point, hopefully good. I will keep you guys updated as well.

Where’re talking about on where’s my refund.
I’ve had the message “your tax return is still being processed and something else about getting my refund late. Now it just says. Your tax return is processing. When it has still in that sentence it means that there is a hold or something going on. When it says it is being processed that means they’re finally processing it. I’ll know tomorrow for sure tho when I check my transcripts

Our return got stuck in a “hole” and stopped processing after it was accepted on 01/31. I was finally able to reach the IRA 02/28, and they rebooted the process. Well my husband apparently owed some taxes so I see the 826 code with a date of 03/14. Since that’s the day they finalize that take back, could that be the same date we get our deposit? Anyone have advice?

i hust called again and she said my return is fine, its standard and its in the questionable refund unit. which could be because i use a prepaid card, use tax software and that is stuff that identity thieves use and if they needed more info i would had gotten another letter. im at 45 days so i just dont get it.

Filed and accepted on 2/15 here. Didn’t have any type of movement until Tuesday when WMR removed the bars and my amount total. My transcripts have been N/A the entire time. I know why my returns are on hold. I under-reported the advanced child tax credits that were issued out in 2021. I hope I see an update tomorrow or Saturday.

Hi. Anyone still waiting for their deposit to hit their bank? It’s 8:40am eastern on march 10th and SBTPG says they sent my payment by direct deposit to my bank on 3/8/22. My DDD was 3/9. Still nothing in my account. I use STASH bank by green dot. No offsets or anything. Double checked my account and routing numbers and everything is good… :(

I never update until Friday for transcripts and Saturday for WMR. I happened to check this morning, and my return went from it is still being processed to being processed. I ID verified on 3/1/22. Hopefully this means my transcripts will update Friday morning.
