Redesigning the side and backyard of our home. Took a year just for the fromt because it can get costly when your wife wants everything she sees. We are getting close to 2k so this will help with the side and half backyard hahaha
@Nikki your 570 is health care related then. The IRS knows you owe a small amount back, which is similar to our penalties. Your 570 should fix itself as well along with ours.
@whathappened yes I had insurance through the marketplace and I had to pay back a very small amount which was deducted as soon as I put the figures in.
@starburst Yes. There a multiple people that have contacted the IRS, and have all been told the 896/570 together is healthcare related, and it is being fixed. If it goes the way it should, we should see our money this week, end of the week
@*ty* Yes. Having 896 with 570 only is good. Means your hold is directly related to your penalty, and nothing you need to do
@Nikki If those are your only codes, 150 is your return filed tax liability which is likely 0.00, 766 Is child tax credit, 768 is EIC. If your 570 is after that, and you have no 971, or 810, you shouldn’t be delayed. Did you have health care? Were you exempt from the penalty?
I don’t won’t to answer that wrong… but I have the 896 with it… but from what I understand the 570 having a 0.00 is a good sign.
On a better note. I drove by the car dealership today and the diesel truck I won’t is still there just need a down payment….. come on irs lol
so when do they plan on fixing it? I know I got on tonight and it still just says they received it and its still processing on WMR has anyone actually talked to the IRS just want to make sure this info is correct is all…. just wondering where people are getting their answers?
@whathappened are you saying that if we only have a 570, that we are under review for something? I’m not seeing a 896 along with 570. I only see 150, 766(-$1934),768(-$5240), 570($0.00). Sorry if I misunderstood, but I’m just trying to get some kind of understanding. Yeah I did talk to a rep in Friday and he told me that I did nothing wrong it’s just a system issue and I’ll get my money.

Thank you so much whathappened. I had to pay back child support in 2011 and there was no delay just took the money I owed and gave me my refund in less than 10 days.
@*ty* Yeap. Because we filed early, when the system wasn’t functioning properly, it through up a hold code, and now they have to fix it.

@pooh pooh Yes. Many have reported calling IRS, and it was explained the 570 shouldn’t have been there to begin with. Being the health care penalty is new this year, the chance of this kind of error was great, and it has happened. System wasn’t set up right to deal with the penalties being deducted from refunds, and has since been fixed, which is why you won’t see a bunch of new people saying they have 896/570 together. There will be people getting 896 for the penalty, or a 570 because they have another reason for a hold or review, but the issue we have has been corrected for new filers. Now they have to reprocess and fix all of us.
Woops… my bad.. at least I was close….. I don’t believe the march 1st thing at all…..
@starburst Yes. There are reports all over forums and pages, including here at IGMR, that people who have the 896, have successfully received their refund, with their penalty taken out appropriately without delay.
Yes they have to pay us interest… so on day 22 the interest starts buildijg…. they won’t let that happen

45-Day Rule and All Original Tax Returns1.For returns with due dates on or after January 1, 1994, without regard to extensions, the 45-day rule was expanded to apply to all types of tax returns (i.e., employment, excise, estate and gift taxes), not just income tax returns. — IRC 6611(e)(1), as amended by the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 (P.L. 103–66).
2.To determine whether the 45-day period has been met, consider these dates:
•The return due date (determined without regard to any extension of time for filing the return).
•The return received date (used when the return is filed after the return due date, determined without regard to any extension of time for filing the return).
•The date the return was received in processible form (Return Processible Date (RPD), or Correspondence Received Date (CRD) may be present).
3.Add 45 days to the later of these dates. If the date of the refund check is not on or before that date, interest must be allowed on the refund.

Your return is due by April 15th, 2015 so the earliest they pay interest is 45 days later
If you file an extension of time to file, your 45 days starts the day you file after April 15, 2015
If you file ontime or late, and they can’t process it because it’s missing forms or illegible (paper copy), your 45 days doesn’t start until you get the IRS all the info they need.Regardless, earliest interest starts is the end of May………….
There was a glitch that’s why we are on hold ?
I have gotten all my transcripts for this return year. Every thing looks good. A cycle day shows up for 20150405. the only code showing under transactions though are 150, 806 for the withholding, 766 for credit and 768 for EIC. But there is no 846. Is this a bad thing. Will the transcript just be updated by the cycle date?
I can pull my transcripts. But I have no 856 code. I do have a tax debt but I included it in my bankruptcy plan. Will I still be offset or should I see and update on refund soon. My lawyer said they would not offset But I’m worried
@ whathappened so people who filed later than us who still had a health care penalty have already gotten refund even with having to pay health care penalty?
That statement about anyone owing a Health Care Penalty won’t get it til March 1st, can’t be true, because people who filed later than us, after the IRS realized there was a glitch, have already received their refunds………………….
@ ty why would they have to pay us interest? its says 9 out of 10 people get it before 21 days I didn’t know that if they dont pay by 21 days they have to pay interest if thats the case they have 10 days to get me mine I hate this waiting
@neverland I’m sorry but that can’t possibly be true. Trust they wouldn’t want to pay that interest. March 1st? Lol nah
My DD is 2/4 Wells Fargo does not do deposits on the weekends so you should see it tomorrow. The banker I talked to told me that as soon as they see it they post it unless it comes on Sat or Sun they post it the next business day. Hope that helps

@*ty* I am going to say No. We will not see a DD or a DDD before your tranny update. I believe the 570 will reflect as being gone late Monday night for most. It will either just be gone, since it wasn’t suppose to be there to begin with, or they will reverse it with a 571 which is a release. The next step would be an 846 refund issued code. So if the system was able to finishing reprocessing this weekend, Monday night you should see an 846 and it will update likely on WMR Wednesday morning for a DD 2/6. In that case earliest people would see money is the same day the WMR updates, Wednesday 2/4, and that would be for prepaid cards, and banks that don’t hold funds until their specific day.
@ neverland I havent heard that before where did u hear that information and I am hoping thats not true since the penalty was taken right out of my tax refund
Where u heat that from…. I don’t know muxh. But I do know they won’t let that happen…. when the 21 days pass they have to start paying us interest and they will not do that

Anyone that owes healthcare penalty will not receive refund any earlier than March 1st. This came straight from the irs.
Actually for direct deposits they process they day they receive them, its only atm or branch deposits that are not processed on weekends.
I’m stumped on this one. Guess I’ll be calling again tomorrow and again and again and again. I’m off tomorrow so I have all day lol
OK it’s back up for me still DDD of 2/3. I created this post just forgot to sign in
Wmr was down for me since 9pm central time last night. Just checked it and it’s back up and my bars are still there at approved with DDD of 2/3 as it was before it went down last night so I don’t know guys.just my situation

Yup…filed 1/28 with Jackson-Hewitt…accepted same day…no movement beyond that yet though…just here waiting.
Turbo tax is showing that 53% of 1/22 filers have gotten their money. Any updates from us 22’s
WMR is up and still no bars for me. No topic either. My refund amount is still there though and all my transcripts can be viewed and ordered. Im cycle 20150405. What is going on?
@pooh pooh Mine is still showing on my transcripts, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t fallen off already. If the transcripts haven’t been updated yet, it would still show it until the update posts.
Website up but I still have no bars no topic and it says “We have received your tax return and it is being processed”
My 570 hasn’t dropped off yet.
So (WMR) is working again but no updates for me no dates filed on the 20th still one bar and locked out of my transcripts
