from what i have read if the 152 is still there/or returned that means a refund. The amount might be gone because of errors and they cant guarantee that amount right now. When mine went to still processing the tax topic left and never came back. Even after i verified and everything.

I was accepted 2/13 got a letter to call in and verify, so I did. She said 9 weeks max but most people see movement within 2 weeks. I’m at almost 3 weeks (verified 2/27). Bottom 2 transcripts say 2022 no return filed and top 2 say N/A and WMR says still processing. I’m frustrated. IRS says they can’t help until the 9 weeks are up!!
For weeks I had a screen that said my return was “still” being processed, a refund date will be provided when available. No tax topic, and my refund amount listed on the left side. Today, it is saying the same thing, except, tax topic 152 is back and my refund amount is no longer listed. My transcripts are still NA and saying no return filed. I have no notices. When I called the IRS I got the, your return is in the errors department, give it 10 weeks spiel. This situation has never happened to me, anyone have any insight? Is WMR putting the tax topic back a sign of movement?
it seems as if a lot of people are getting this hold this season. my WMR says the same thing. my transcripts did update but i have that dreaded 570 code and a date of 3-27-2023 next to it. call them on friday since it will be your 21st day and see if they can give you any info.. most likely they will say your account is on hold to verify the accuracy of your refund and depending on who you get, they will either tell you to wait 60 days or 120 days. i have been told both.
This Friday will be my 21 days. I have had no updates, transcripts still say n/a, etc. Until this morning……..
Filed joint with my husband. Went to check “Where’s my refund” this morning:
Using my husband’s social it says this:“We apologize, but your return processing has been delayed beyond the normal timeframe.

But using my social it is now giving the “still processing ” message…..
What is my next step???
every time i call, i am told different things every time. one agent says they are doing a review and to wait 60 days but it should be less than that. another agent said she has no information. i just spoke with one a few minutes ago asking if there is a hold and she told me it is now at 120 days and it is because of COVID. i have the same 570 code as everyone else. i got the 4464C letter like everyone else. my 570 has a date of 3-27-2023 next to it.
Mine accepted over a month ago. Still in green keep getting told 12 weeks. Have not received any correspondence that anything is wrong. Did anybody who managed to get a live agent get a reason on WHY it would take up to 12 weeks?

Filed and accepted 01/31, WMR kept saying still processing, when I called they said that it didn’t actually start processing until the 18th which i’m sure is because of the child tax credit. Anyway, said still processing until today which it still does, only difference is the tt 152 is back? Transcripts still say NA. I don’t know what is happening but they sure are slow.

Maybe they need to change the word “Most” to “A couple” in both places.
I filed on 2/28 and was accepted an hour later…WMR updated today with a DDD of 3/15…im just waiting to see if it will deposit earlier because normally it does. This year has been a little slower than previous years so idk
My DDD was 3/10… is it common to not get it on that exact day?

I had the 570 for a couple of weeks, no 971. I called on 3/3, the lady on the phone said that there was a hold on my account and that she removed it. Today I updated with a DDD 3/15. As of yesterday afternoon my transcript was still showing the 570 code.

Lucky, I still haven’t gotten anything. Just checked again this morning. Checked my online acc and no messages/notices sent out.
I hope I get updated soon.

12C Notice 02/02.
TAS Involved 03/06.Called the IRS (03/13) – and was told issue one of two was solved which would be the 12C notice asking for supporting documentation for my refund. Now, my return is in the IRS’s ‘Errors Department’. I was told to allow 10 weeks from the accepted date which is (01/19) for it to all be sorted.
Emailed my congressional rep for an expedited refund due to hardship, and left a VM with my TAS advocate waiting on a response currently.
Is anyone else in the ‘Error Department’? Funny thing is me, and my CPA checked all of my document(s) against the return and found NO error(s).
I received this today as well.
Talked to the tax advocate she said this just meant they are processing my return. This wasn’t an audit.
Got a DD for 3/15/23 but of course it was adjusted and they dont <span id=”IL_AD1″ class=”IL_AD”>tell me</span> by how much. After a wait this long i hardly even care. Goodluck to the rest waiting. See you guys in 2024′

I got a letter on massconnect recomp Notice of Change says if I owe I would receive a letter by mail or would see it on massconnect to pay but don’t see anything so i called last week and they said it was processed that was last Tuesday and said I should see a deposit within 2 weeks or so when I check status it still says processing so I have no idea I talked to few people at work and same thing with the state refund taking long with no answers
So, I got solar panels last year and claimed the Solar Credit with my tax return with HR Block. My refund was big enough that I couldn’t get direct deposit. However, I had my tax return submitted on 1/13 and have not had it approved by the IRS yet. I’m assuming it’s because of the credit of course but does anyone else have any experience with this? Any chance anyone knows how long it might take?

@ramen4life I do injured spouse every year, my husband had throat cancer turned down for disability, (he can’t speak), I believe in parents taking care of their children, however his are grown with children of their own!! he won’t ever work again so when do they just stop!! The IRS is annoying at best but this year they are just ridiculously slow!!! I am hoping to see the magic 846 number this week and I pray you see it also!!!!!!!!!!

sgorham- That’s pretty rough to go through! I used HR Block, who did you electronically go through? Maybe I should get an advocate as well, never heard of forms being “lost”. Do you think it could be some sort of a glitch? No update for me this whole week. I’ll check daily just in case though! You’ve been waiting forever jeez!
DDD of wednesday the 15th. I have chime and they typically deposit 48 hours in advance. does this mean ill see my deposit on monday? any chimers out there
A whole gang of people got DD’s last week and NYS went back to sleeping on the job all week.. not 1 person came here & said they got a DD this past week
How often does Georgia update their website refund status? Daily? Twice a week? Other?
@ramen4life My transcript as of date changed yesterday from 2/20 to 3/20 and back to 2/20! It just is amazing to me that in today’s age it takes the IRS so long to process anything…… I file IS every year and during 2019, 2020,2021 I have had to get a tax advocate to get my refund, each year it’s we don’t have your form, filed electronically all forms at the same time, so how do you have some forms and not all forms?????
sgorham29- Same. I filed 2/10 electronically with the injured spouse form; accepted same day. A week later I had the 570 hold code, tomorrow will mark a month from when I filed (my as of date is 3/6/2023 beside that 570 code). The commenters on this thread seem to have a one month wait time for an 846 code/DDD. Here’s to hoping for some sort of transcript change, and I’ll keep you updated! I’ve never done an IS form before so this is all new to me :)

I filed and was accepted on 3/3 with TurboTax. This morning I only had 2022 for Wage and Income Transcript, just now I decided to check transcripts again and I now have 2022 under Account Transcript. Hoping this is sign in the right direction.
If it makes anyone feel better, for the last 2 years in a row I received my DD in my account (Venmo Debit Card) prior to my DDD or even prior to any movement on WMR. Fingers crossed

I filed 01/25 and was accepted for both state and federal 01/26. I received my federal refund 2 weeks ago but my Ga refund is still green in parentheses. I spoke with a lady that said it takes 12 weeks and based on how she was talking it sounds like we won’t receive it until after the 12 weeks smh 😵💫 never waited this long for state before
I filed at H&R Block on Feb 24th. My transcripts still say n/a and wheres my refund says accepted only 152. I thought I would get an update overnight last night because I’m always weekly but nothing has changed. No updates at all…
Next Friday will be 21 days. I was so certain my dad would be next week. Now I’m stressing…
