      Hey everyone and welcome back.
      I just thought I would start a new forum/thread.
I filed on Mon Jan 23 w/ TT. I filed married filing jointly with my IS form.
I have all of the credits EITC, ACTC, ect.
Hopefully with COVID basically being over they have enough staff that we don’t have to wait for months this year.
BTW my return was accepted the next day (1-24-23) and WMR shows that it was accepted and is being worked on (processed).
Good luck to everyone hoping for a good tax season

Well hello again old friends. Filed today, 3/28, electronic with Tax Act and filed my IS with my return.
Already have the acceptance from the IRS email.
Hoping for a quicker turn around than last year <3

I filed on February 7th with my taxes electronically. I called on 3/15 based upon hopes from others posts. All they gave me was it reached the IS department on 2/27 and to wait 11 weeks from 2/9. Hoping there’s an update this weekend since the last few weeks have been nothing. I really don’t want to wait until the end of April but that’s what it’s looking like at this point.

I would be so happy if I saw the 846 refund with a date I would dance naked in the rain!!!!!!!!! Take and run with it!!! I am interested to know when you actually filed and if you filed your injured spouse with your 1040 or after?

I have an 846 refund issued code for 3/29. I’m kinda leary of it because the transcripts codes say filed, credits, 570 for injured spouse, and then straight to 846….. was there supposed to be a resolved code for that 570?

I called today for the first time in my life (lol). She said that her department are the ones who manually process the injured spouse forms and that it is frustrating on her end because they are told to answer the phones while processing the IS forms. She was really nice! But it sounds to me they are doing all they can do!

@ramen4life I do injured spouse every year, my husband had throat cancer turned down for disability, (he can’t speak), I believe in parents taking care of their children, however his are grown with children of their own!! he won’t ever work again so when do they just stop!! The IRS is annoying at best but this year they are just ridiculously slow!!! I am hoping to see the magic 846 number this week and I pray you see it also!!!!!!!!!!

sgorham- That’s pretty rough to go through! I used HR Block, who did you electronically go through? Maybe I should get an advocate as well, never heard of forms being “lost”. Do you think it could be some sort of a glitch? No update for me this whole week. I’ll check daily just in case though! You’ve been waiting forever jeez!

@ramen4life My transcript as of date changed yesterday from 2/20 to 3/20 and back to 2/20! It just is amazing to me that in today’s age it takes the IRS so long to process anything…… I file IS every year and during 2019, 2020,2021 I have had to get a tax advocate to get my refund, each year it’s we don’t have your form, filed electronically all forms at the same time, so how do you have some forms and not all forms?????

sgorham29- Same. I filed 2/10 electronically with the injured spouse form; accepted same day. A week later I had the 570 hold code, tomorrow will mark a month from when I filed (my as of date is 3/6/2023 beside that 570 code). The commenters on this thread seem to have a one month wait time for an 846 code/DDD. Here’s to hoping for some sort of transcript change, and I’ll keep you updated! I’ve never done an IS form before so this is all new to me :)

                          I got my 846 code today 3/10

Refund will be issued on 3/15
                          Filed accepted on 1/20

Fastest return time in years for me.

Can someone that got the magic 846! let me know what their as of date is or when they filed? Trying to get some idea when I can expect my refund…………… I filed Jan 28 accepted same day, no movement just has the return received bar, as of date is Feb 20, 2023 and i filed injured spouse form with taxes electronically

I am same. Keep checking my transcripts hoping but aside from the change in as of date nothing yet.
According to the IRS we should receive within 8 weeks if we did IS with taxes. Would love to see it sooner but not holding my breath…lol
Good luck and keep us posted

Good Morning, has anyone received their refund that filed their form with their taxes yet? I keep seeing a lot of folks that got their DDD that are pathers, (which I am not), just would like some idea of how long I need to wait. WMR has processing and hasn’t moved since I filed 1/28/2023.

Well here I am again this year!! husband’s back child support he doesn’t work, (cancer) for the last 3 years I have had to get help from an advocate to get my money back, (they have taken it every year even with the IS form! ) This year I am praying that God keeps a watch on it!!
I filed Jan 28th, accepted same day, WMR is still on processing, transcript has 150, 806, 570 with an as of date of Feb 20th. Really need to pay some bills, fix the leaking tub faucet,

I hear that. Unfortunately my IS form is because of back child support so I don’t get the opportunity to just not file it if I want any money at all. Ugh

filed on the 25th, accepted, path message for EIC CTC. (They don’t release those returns until mid Feb) Didn’t file IS form last year because of the student loan debt pause. Got my return 2 weeks later. This year I did not file IS form because of the extension of the pause. Taking advantage of probably the last time I won’t have to file the dreaded IS form before the pause ends this summer.
