What does this mean? I know 570 is hold, but what is the 2/16 date for and why is there a hold?

I’m in that same category yall are…been following yall and anyone else I can find. Really sucks….I have searched high and low and haven’t seen any getting ddd or dd….I truly believe we will get ours though. The Treasury is the last link in refund chain….that 570 code is holding ours up. Once they place 571 code it should disappear and be replace by 846 then Treasury releases funds. I hope it automatically falls off. Surely it won’t be a person having to manually go in and change them because there are millions of us they would have to do that to. If I find anything new I will post here!

Hi Bart,

This is my first year getting a rather substantial refund because I preemptively had a much higher withholding taken out all of 2014 because of an (incorrect) assumption that during last calendar year I was going to receive some assets that were going to have a huge tax obligation (I didn’t want to have to sell them to cover the taxes). Well, I did not receive those assets in the 2014 calendar year which was unfortunate but the flip side is I am due a rather hefty refund.

This year (maybe not the brightest idea) I decided to ditch my Dad’s tax preparer and file using Turbo Tax. Other than the monster withholding, simple return with just an import of my Fidelity investing account info.

My gut tells me just to be patient, but does it seem like it is taking longer this year for refunds and website updates? I know there were massive budget cuts, however.

2 years ago I had a fraudulent return filed in my name. Big mess. I had to send in a paper return which I still haven’t gotten any info about. Last year I did not receive any money until May. In January I got a letter in the mail from the IRS ssaying I owed money from the fraud return. I went to the IRS office and got everything squared away. I filed this year on the 19th. I was accepted on the 20th and 2 days later my bar’s disappeared. I have no transcripts and no amount on WMR! Am I going to wait until May again this year? Does a missing amount definitely mean that the amount will change? I added a pin this year so does that make it go faster? Should I not count on a fast resolution? I still have TT 152. Is that good? Thank You in advance for answering. .

Hey Bart. I filed on the 16th, was accepted on the 16th, and when I check WMR, it still says processing. I can’t access my Transcripts, but I see the return amount, nothing went blank, no bars went blank during this time. I have no special things I claimed, just HOH with a QC. Is this normal? Should I worry? Thanks!

Just checked the WI wmr and it says my refund was intercepted to cover (garnishments? However you want to put it) which I knew and I should have it by 2/02 I’ll try updating in the am to confirm it hit my account (bank doesn’t update deposits until between 3-9am it’s a weird one)

If you had a different address last year they will go by that until the info is updated. And @Janjan the more I think about it I don’t quite get it fully either I mean I get the first numbers are the year then week then day but the more I do it in my head 0404 should mean today from everything I’ve read. I’m not to worried anymore now that I know it’s at least through processing for the most part.

@ Ryan, I filed via TurboTax too, and i started on the 16th, accepted on the 20th, and still nothing! Not even a premeditated date. My friend filed via H&R block online, and already have a date. I can’t even access my transcripts because they keep saying I have the wrong info. :\

I filed on January 18, accepted on 20th, and the money was put in our credit union after they closed this evening.
I did call them today once I saw that wmr said January 30 deposit date, they said they saw the ACH coming but it was dated 30th. I logged into our online account just an hour ago and the balance is already showing the deposit and it’s from taxes….so it went earlier than they thought.

Best way to explain it would be count 4 weeks from 01/01/15 and that Thursday to the next is your week. So same as us

if you are interested look at your deposit date on your account transcript by the 846 code and subract 14 days and it will tell you Feb 2nd

Oh and sbptg site still doesn’t show anything received but I have a feeling they might have and just not updated it yet. Before any of my transcripts were available today I received an email around 3-4 central time from audit defense with my confirmation code (shouldn’t that come once it’s paid for?) On top of that earlier today the sbptg page said 69.95 or 99 for turbo tax fees with 0.00 by refund processing fee. After my first transcript became available it changed turbo tax fees to 66 and the processing fee to 3.95. So I’m hoping I’m just hung up between systems til it all updates again.

Has anyone federal return been offset for edd overpayment.. I called the offset program number. But it don’t give an amount just Says ssn may or may not be offset please call EDD… And they already took all my state refund…

I just rechecked wmr still at one bar rechecked transcripts and they were all there now with the 846 code. I don’t think it’ll be any later than Tuesday morning. Usually I have my refunds in about 5-7 days after being accepted. First year getting my transcripts. I think there has only been one time wmr updated my ddd before I had already gotten it normally by the time I check and see I have a date it’s already in there.

Filed 1/8 accepted 1/12 no update on WMR at all and no DDD. Filed with TT and had fees taken out of refund..I have been checking my status on the SBBT website frequently and they still have not received my funds but shows the amount to be deducted from my funds whenever they get them.

Okay I think I can stop panicking now!!! I went back and looked at past deposits and
I always get mine on a Thursday or a Friday.
2014- 20140601- refund date was 2/21 friday
2013- 20130901- refund date was 2/28 thursday
2012- 20120702- refund date was 2/11 Friday
so it wasn’t even in the cycle for me to freak out. So I’m going to chill until next Friday.

Anyone showing anything from republic today? I got a DDD for Jan .30(Friday) yesterday(Tues) it showed how much fees were for us. But hasn’t received refund. My main concern is will my $ be in MY account of Friday or stuck at republic?!
