Me! Accepted on 2/4 and finally called on 2/25 after no movement on WMR and no top two transcripts available. Was told I have to verify and they would send a letter that day. As of today, I have not received a letter. So frustrating! I don’t know why it would take so long to mail a letter.

Accepted on 2/4. I started to get worried when towards the end of February, I hadn’t received my refund yet. I am PATH but have always got it around 2/21. I had not received any letters prior to me calling on 2/25 and the agent I talked to said it would be mailed that day. It is now March 7th and I still haven’t received anything. WMR still shows processing with no bars and my top two transcripts are not available, so nothing has changed.

How long after requesting the letter from the IRS to be able to verify you return, did you get it? I don’t want to call back if I don’t have to so I thought I would check here first.

Anyone else switched over to check being mailed after ID verify with 4883c letter and now the check is being sent out to the wrong address. I called IRS to update address and agent states it will take two weeks for system to reflect address change. If this has happened to anyone, how long did it take to receive check once address was updated. I have mail forwarding but the post office is stating they won’t forward a government check.

I still don’t have an update either. I did read on another post where someone had the same issue but then they got a DDD about 3-4 weeks after filing. I’m going to give it 21 days before I start calling. Let’s keep hope alive and keep each other updated.

Filed 1/23 accepted same day. Wmr says delayed still processing contacted irs 3* times. The first 2 times they stated I just have to wait, last time I spoke with them the lady said a letter will be sent out. But no transcripts.

I think they just say that so you won’t call back. I filed Jan 24. Had the “still” processing. Received letter and verified on Feb 23. I didn’t even know they sent the letter. It was mailed on the 9th. March 3rd transcript updated and WMR shows I’ll be mailed a check on the 10th.

i got the same 4464C letter today as well. i just got off the phone with an IRS agent and he said a lot of returns so far have been flagged so far this year and he said most likely this is the first batch of 4464C returns so hopefully it should be cleared up sooner than 60 says. he said keep checking transcripts as those will update before follow up notices are sent out. he said it is mostly due to them being behind in processing.

We filed 2/16 got back fed on 2/28/23 had to id verify for the state was approved on 3/1/23 said 5-7 business to receive the funds hoping it will be in there today I filed my dads taxes same day as mine on 2/16/23 he got his state approved on 2/22/23 and it was there 2/27/23 and fed was there 2/28/23! Hope this helps if it’s been to long just call and verify over the phone

Simple return; no EIC, no dependants, no fees.
Didn’t see an update until today, and even then, it was unprocessed all day today until just now!
Couldn’t see transcripts.
I bank with Chime.

I have the exact same codes as well. 570 dates February 20 and 971 dates February 27. I spoke to an agent and I was told my return is in the review process and I should wait one 20 days also that I should receive a letter in the mail, but I have yet to receive a letter WRM change from the past message to we have received your return and it is now being processed on 1 March wondering how long before seeing any updates after being in the review process

Check received! Showed up on informed delivery again today and was in mailbox. We live in a neighborhood with one main mailbox per block and so maybe it was mis-delivered and put back in the return and re-delivered. Anyway.. got it now. Good luck to everyone.
Recap. WMR showed will be delivered by 2/24 since 2/16. Showed up on informed delivery on 2/27 but had mixup with mailbox delivery.
