Yes I was in the same boat up until last week (filed & accepted 1/27). It turns out I was “re-sequenced” a couple times, and then I received a letter last week to verify my ID. I did the verification online (link below) on 3/3 and it didn’t even ask for anything on the letter (I already had ID.me set up). Still says N/A on 2021 Transcripts and WMR showing the “still being processed” message. Hoping for an update tonight!!!!

It is annoying to see someone with a DDD date and they are complaining waisting space because it didn’t come early….Go sit in time out until your DDD comes.

Go to their website and see if you got switched to a cashier’s check. When you log in you scroll to the last drop down menu and see if it’s now showing a check. For some reason they said a bunch of banks have rejected deposits and they are just now mailing out checks. So early filers checks went out last week. Mine w ddd(3/2) will mail out tomorrow.

I don’t know how accurate this is. But I just got off the phone with them. She said that their computers were messed up. She said the computers where fixed yday n they can now access more things. She said all of February DD, went out on the 28 n give up to 10 days. So I’m understanding that ALL OF OUR CHECKS (FEB DATES) went out in one big batch…if you call she said they can now see your date that check was mailed/pending.

Hello guys..
Just wanted to drop in and say that if you file injured spouse due to student loans that this year you won’t need to because the offsets are on hold until May or Nov I believe. I filed with TT (without form) and was accepted 2/28 and rcvd my DD today! That’s the fastest I have EVER rcvd my refund. So you don’t have to wait for that form. On the IRS site when you log on. Go the the menu on the right look for tax records, if you see 2021 return summary there you’re almost done, your transcripts should all be available & you will update within the next week. If you still see 2020 there they’re still processing it, keep checking.

If IRS can fix them you will be put back in que to continue thru the pipeline. Usually only a week or two delay! Some may be more lengthy due to the backlog or the issue.

Watch your transcript for a 570 freeze code, 971 Notices, 424 Examination Request or for any changes to your “as of date” pushing out further to 3-7-2022 or 3-14-2022. That will be an indication your return is under further review to resolve an issue or error with your return. Check your “Return” Account to see any adjustment to line items that differs by per computer entries.

Unfortunately some will get “rejection codes” updated on the WMR with an “action code” ex 203 Offset; Apology delayed message, still processing a date will be available; Topic 152 and bars disappears etc., Some will see the Path Msg until Saturday; it’s just a placeholder until WMR updates to DDD and all (3) Orange Bars.

I called back last week and finally was told I needed to ID verify, since I had previous years tax filings/returns in front of me he transferred me to take care of it right then over the phone. I was accepted 1/28, wmr had 1 bar until 2/18 when it switched to the “delayed” message. Zero updates. N/A on transcripts. Spoke to someone at the IRS March 1st (had to call tax advocate and be transferred) I was told they were going to be sending me a notice but he couldn’t see what it was for and to wait a couple of weeks. No notice came.

Accepted on 01/24. My WMR bar disappeared says still being processed with no tax topic. My transcript says N/A. Called the tax advocate line they said I needed to verify my identity. Once I did that they said It may take up to 9 weeks.

Oh, and the reason it shows the Tax Topic 152 is because the info for “why it may take longer” is also linked in that Topic article.

Adjustment to account could be anything from you putting in the wrong amount of stimulus, owing taxes from this year or previous, or it could mean you have something that can offset your taxes, like child support or student loan payments. Essentially it means your refund is on hold until they recalculate the amount you will get, which could take a week or two, or it could take however long the IRS takes to get to it.

This weekend started out very difficult. Yesterday, I checked my transcripts five times with nothing updating. I checked WMR this morning and nothing. I literally just checked WMR a few minutes ago and received an APPROVED refund! I’m very, very grateful! I wish the best for all of you. May it come soon and last longer than you planned!

My sister was having problems with her information on WMR wouldn’t let her check her status. I think it’s a glitch, we had to use the hotline for WMR: 1-800-829-1954 check it that way if you’re having problems or don’t have internet and see what it says.

Its just means there is a hold on your account due to an error or just a review. I filed 2/2 had a hold on mines up until yesterday now a ddd 3/16.. This year was really a mess they need to do better but if you don’t owe any money it’s coming.. btw if you call irs they going to tell you wait until 10-20 more weeks which is what they tell everyone.

Everyone with these codes and cycle date.. I can’t speak on every situation but I have these exact cycle code and irs codes for only one week. I even called the irs and was told too wait until April. Transcripts updated Friday and wmr sat morning. Do not stress. As long as you don’t owe nobody no money.. Which these codes only mean an error was found on your tax return. Then you will be fine. Stress less! It’s coming.
