@Mandiej. Thank you for responding. I wonder if they will accept a print out from the gambling sites. Some of them was under $600, so they were not required to send me the form. However, one was over $600 and still did not send me the form. I guess, I will just see if they can send me something official from each site.

2/2 Called again today and the agent stated he did not see anything about am online verification.He was helpful and offered to verify again over the phone to ensure I passed the verification process. We went through the steps and he said he was able to update my account as verified and because it’s over the phone, it shows right away. He said sometimes there’s a delay with the online process. Got the 9 week response but said that’s standard and it should be sooner than that.

Early filers get caught up in the held back lane yall. Either held off long or audited for no reason. Its a stupid a$$ security thing because scammers use early filing to try to push fake or fraud returns through. So in return the randomly do this figuring “if” its fraud thr real person would still file and then they’ll hold both ect to investigate

One thing is, Wages & Income transcript still blank with “No record of return filed” even though other 3 all populated 846 date 2/28/24. Does this last transcript lag behind or should i worry.
Side note, my State refund (CA) e-filed 2/7 approved/authorized/issued 2/8 with DD hitting 2/14. Fastest refund ever!

Yeah I always use Chase or BOA or brick and mortar bank in general as I don’t want any mishaps of money being rejected that others experience using non brick and mortar banks. Usually comes by said day or at least by the day after so just chillin until then.

We usually file earlier than this when the W2 comes in and never had this issue. Agents haven’t been too helpful so far.

Maybe we try to call again and see when a letter was sent and make sure it’s the right address?

The ID verify is coming up for a lot of people this year. It doesn’t matter when you file. We always file early and have the same issue. Our letter was mailed two weeks after we filed and we are still waiting. We have 5 kids and our youngest is 6 so no difference for 6 years. It says it’s random. An agent was able to tell me when mine was mailed but it was the third agent I spoke to. They don’t all try to help unfortunately.

If you file for Child tax credit or earned income tax credit you should never file before 2/15 if you do file before that date you have a 90% chance of having to verify your id. this will delay your refund 1-2 months. it happened to me the first year of the path act. best thing you can do is wait for the letter to come in the mail. hope this helps.

And for those that got Tuesday last week vs ddd on Wednesday they didn’t hold the funds Monday was a bank holiday so they had no choice but to wait a day thats the only week that it comes the day before. Never had this happen before, and of course, the IRS told my wife they would send a letter a few days ago. She called back this morning and the IRS agent told her he seen no record of anything being sent.

Any help would be greatly appreciated on this as this has never happened and we desperately need this refund because we are a family of 8 and we lost our vehicle right after Christmas.

So last year I used TT. My ddd was 2-23 and we didn’t get our funds until 2-25! They sent them to tt first then tt had to pull their fees and send to our bank.

@Kat. I have had this message before in previous years. I was told by my Tax Advocate it means “They haven’t touched your rerurn yet”. Even though the message hints there may be an error in filing or inputting #’s, it’s simply that they are swamped. I was accepted 1/22 with no movement on transcripts. Good luck!

I finally received my 12c letter requesting more information. I did not claim the premium tax credit for the entire year so my 1095-a only shows the premium tax credit for those months. The remaining months it shows zero. So I faxed my 1095-a and the tax tool form showing what the credit should be monthly. Sent the fax on Wednesday, February 21st. WMR not showing any change yet. Hopefully it will be updated to we received your information and are processing your return.

In the letter they will ask for the documents to prove what y9u claimed. I’ve gotten it before. I just sent my stuff and I was fine. Don’t let it scare you. As long as you can back up what you claimed your fine.

I don’t know what they are doing. I don’t make a lot of money and this year, I reported gambling earnings, and that’s the only thing. I can prove that just by copying my earnings from the websites I was gambling on. I feel like I’m being penalized for being honest about it and they are allowing the company to get away with not reporting it and sending me out the correct forms. It’s ridiculous.

Its sad but it look like you may be right , when i call they are no help in providing any type of information but they ask you so many question to be let down because they don’t know anything either. Did you file married filed jointly? If you did and put it into your account but y9ur spouse was the primary it will cause a name mismatch with Chime and they will reject it, if that happens sbtpg will return it to the IRS and you will get a paper check

I filed on 1/16 and was accepted on 1/18 (on PATH). I got a letter on 2/20 that said it was mailed on 2/16. I verified over the phone on the 20th. The lady asked me basic questions about myself, but asked a few questions about 2022 as well. I don’t have access to transcripts, so can’t say how that looks. WMR has said my info doesn’t match since I filed (no change on wmr since verifying).

I’m so confused. This year has been so weird. Nothing has changed with my household in 8 years so there shouldn’t be any problems.
I filed 1/26. I didn’t even bother checking WMR for weeks because I knew it wouldn’t update for a while. It’s been on “We’ve received …. it’s processing” the entire time. I couldn’t access transcripts for the first time EVER because of ID.me. My verification never actually worked. My spouse was able to completely verify.
All of his transcripts are still completely blank/not available.
And now WMR says (for both of us) “The information you entered doesn’t match our records”.
What is going on???????!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ll call tomorrow but wanted to know if anyone could shed light on this for me now?
