You are so right! I bet if you called back 2 more times you’d end up with 3 different answers altogether. I saw where people were told identity issues then when they called the rep said they didn’t see it at all and it’s processing don’t worry. I think you’re right, it is a line of crap and they really shouldn’t use something as extreme as ID theft as a fake excuse. That’s horrible!
Wmr doesn’t work properly and hasn’t in all the years I’ve used it. Although it worked better the past few than this year for sure. People are getting “one bar refunds”. So there’s hope even if it doesn’t update. Mine hasn’t updated, but most others on my date did, but I noticed the tax software I used changed today.
There’s a spot next to my return that says “last updated” it’s said 2/6 11:38 am since I got accepted at 11:38 2/6. Today it now says 2/11 2:46 am and that’s right near when the irs updates. I’m hopeful!@andrew I bank with a local credit union.

I just had to clarify that. I know my there, they’re, and theirs…LOLFiled 2/2 bars missing 2/5.. Seems like a lot of people are having this problem… Called IRS told 6/8 weeks.. Apparently I had Identity Issue in 2013, which didn’t affect last years filing or return..
Starting to wonder if this is another script for the resequenced? Why is it so hard to just give us a straight answer?! Seriously people wouldn’t be as p.o’d. Like we aren’t all comparing notes trying to get real answers!

I’m pretty sure that’s Tuesday. I’m not sure what their schedule will be like with the Monday holiday, their giving people Monday DDD’s though and that number is 20150603. (Presidents Day thee stupidest federal holiday in my opinion! I’ll admit I’m just bitter because it falls right smack in the middle of all of our refund process…LOL)

Hey, just wanted to say, before you read too much on here and get freaked out by all of everyone’s trouble….most aren’t having much trouble now. Most 2/6 filers are getting theirs 2/13. That’s crazy fast. It’s mostly early and opening week filers that had the most issues.
What I really wanted to say is don’t get too worried about what the wheres my refund tool is saying as long as it isn’t saying there’s a problem. Some people are never getting passed the first bar of progress and they have their refund already.

Every other year i got the refund sent bar a day or so after I had actually already received my refund.
I was finally able to access my transcripts this morning. It gave me a 846 refund date of 03-02-2015 and a cycle date of 20150604. Does anybody else have this? What does it mean?

I filed and was accepted a day before u through hnr block but maybe we can keep each other in loop with any progress. I’m getting my dads on an emerald card, standard w2, eitc, 1 child dependent. I’ll let u know if I have any updates please do the same thanks!
Yes it will update sometime between 3-6am eastern. I’m in AZ and I find by 1:30 it’s usually back up, but beware, check more than 3 times, you’ll get locked out til midnight the following night. You can call the automated system and check that way as many times as you want without trouble though.
I’m at one bar….one lonely, sad, orphaned bar. Most 2/6ers have their DDD from last night already. A lot don’t, but their transcripts confirmed the same as the people that had 2 on wmr, that it’s coming Friday.
I did have a change within the tax software I used. So anyone that did their own, check your software and see if it has any “last updated” info. Up until today Smart tax said my return was last updated 2/6 11:38-am when it was accepted. Today it now says last updated 2/11 2:46 am, which is around the time of when the IRS updates. Wmr only works for about 20% of the people trying to use it! I swear! So it doesn’t totally worry me that it isn’t saying what I want, but it’s also not giving me any of the reassurance I want.
Many, many have received “one bar refunds” I’m hoping we’ll all be able to say that too. Since I figure that seems more likely than wmr actually working properly…LOL
Well it recently just changed because I called the hotline and it gave me a different message….So i think its slowly but surely coming

DD 2/11 Ive been looking back and forth on irs wmr… got locked out for checking so many times. Now i check back it said sent. I have a prepaid Tmobile moneycard (Bancorp) bank Ive called customer service repeatedly today….No rejection…They said it hasnt post yet… Like what the freak is going on? but now i have a feeling its going to be on like 3-4am …Well i hope

what bank do you go through?DDD of 2/11 and still have not received refund from federal. Received state almost 3 days after filing, just noticed that Where’s My Refund updated to sent status. I still have no indication of receiving the deposit through my bank. File date: 2/1 Accepted date: 2/1. A bit worried, anyone out there able to easy my mind a bit?

My situation is that I filed 1/30 and was accepted within an hour later. I have been stuck on WMR on 1 bar with tax topic 1152. Thursday I was able to order the account transcript but still not the return one. I was only able to order my account transcript by mail because it says I’m entering my info wrong. I can’t understand why no movement and only able 2 order one account transcript by mail and I’m sure when it comes it will probably be blank. Please give me your thoughts please.
Did it come on your ddd anyone? I’m getting a check at the office but i’m wondering if you have to wait til the day after your ddd for them to print and release it

Hello everyone, I am really concern I filed my taxes with Tax Act on the Jan 31 2015 and was accepted on the same day for Federal and State but I still have not been approved on WMR?. Did I do something wrong? My sister filed last week with Jackson Hewitt and they said her money was already at their bank schedule to be released on Friday 02/13/2015.. I am starting to panic. I checked WMR it only have the first bar and code 152 there is no money in my account or the taxact bank account? I tried calling the Irs and they keep hanging up after the recorded message and I don’t know what to do? Also on Monday Jan 9 2015 I did received a letter stating my state taxes has been held / offset (which we already suspected since my hubby owe unemployment) anyhow I am not sure what does that mean for our federal? One of my questions is if the state tax been approved does that mean the federal tax will be approve? I call Irs tax offset line and it says we have no non-taxed debt or money owed as of this time. I am freaking out. does anyone have any suggestion? I don’t know what to do

I filed friday and my information can’t be found on wmr does that mean they don’t have it or is it a wmr glitch help please
I had just a 570 for a little over a week. Called IRS, she told me I may need to verify my income and that a letter may be sent. She said nothing else looked off on my return. This morning, my transcript updated to a 971- letter sent. So, I guess they’ll be wanting my W2’s.
I see a couple had multiple 766 credits on their transcripts like I did. Did you get an additional refund from having the ACA credit? Not a penalty, but more money added to your refund for your income being lower than your estimate? I have a feeling that’s why they want me to verify my income. All my info is pretty much the same otherwise.
My sequence is 201502 and filed on 1/24. We have nothing and it is 2/11. Any ideas? Nothing shows up but just processing on WMR. Thanks!
DavidI am also 20150602. My wmr says ddd is Friday, I’m praying they send em to sbbt tomorrow and will be in my Bank on Friday
Well, i filed my mom’s and still haven’t received a DD date and I filed it on Jan 21st and it was accepted on the 22nd. Used Turbo Tax. It was a simple return for two retirees. IRS still shows processing. I filed a return for my daughter in law before my mom’s and after two rejections caused by TT internal errors I went to H&R on the 26th, had it accepted less than two hours later and it was paid on Feb 3rd. Her return involved EIC and the child tax credit. TT has some major issues and I believe its the cloud technology that has caused them the two glitches, health care question and duplicate entries on imported w2, because last year the same two returns almost identical in wages and refund amounts were paid within 10 days of filing.

I just got off of the phone with the absolute most helpful person at the IRS. I called shortly before they closed 6:50 my time, and he took down all my info. He did the leg work to take my return to the identity people. Hell, he even CALLED me back to let me know what he found out. My question, he said there were 2 codes identity wise…one was irs ident and one was taxpayer ident. I’ve never called the irs before this year so I have no idea what’s going on with that…
The fishy part, he said calling the identity protection unit probably will do no good and I should wait for a letter I the mail in the upcoming weeks. What are y’alls thoughts on this? Bs or real

Bart I was calling about my 2014 transcript and they said they couldn’t view them because they were not done processing I told them I was instructed to call them…she then send my identity theft I did not have anything to do with my refund not being processed…..I also went ahead and got a tax advocate and was told that I will be contacted by Thursday and if I did was not contacted by Thursday they gave me a number to call if my reply was truly being reviewed would they have gave me a tax advocates
Nothing yet here either. Nothing on sbbt or my bank.

mailed off return on 1/22/15 no records on wmr i know they say wait 4 weeks to check but is that really how long it takes?
Amber Brittaney Orr Did you talk to id verify for the transcripts of because of your 2014 return was sent to id verify. If it was sent then you wouldn’t be done processing until that clears and your reprocessed.. Now if you didn’t talk them about that and it was because you were trying to order transcripts and had to contact them then that means nothing.. If you are truly under review 6 weeks seems like the going time frame this year. The n/a on 2014 transcripts just shows you defiantly are not done processing and really you have to wait until that happens at least
hi Bart i just had a question because my return was accepted on the 21st I called and talked to the IRS several times and I was getting everything is okay then Monday I talk to someone and she went through my account and told me that I went under review on the 25th and it would take 6-8 weeks from 25th she went on to ask me have I talked to the identity theft people ask me what they say I told her that they said everything was fine and they sent out my 2012 and 2013 trans and said 2014 was not available because I was not done processing and she took note of that and asked me for my current address and a number to be reached at do you know what that means
my ddd was for 2/4/15 but funds didnt load onto my card until 2/5/15 at 9am….hope this helps!!
Filed 1/20 and accepted same day. My bar disappeared last Saturday morning but still have 152 topic and refund amount. Called Tuesday morning and was told I have offset ( which I knew about) and it would be two weeks. My offset is balance from state tax and is less than my refund. I had Obamacare all year and I do not owe anything on that. I think they are just telling everyone two weeks if you filed on the 20th.
Who has NOT got their money?
rae yes and no the irs cannot freeze the account for an offset without a balance but they have the right to stop or freeze a return pending investigation on another return for potential money owed or fraud
DDD of today and nothing…… Same thing happened to me last year, no explanation then either. Deposit showed up 2 weeks later..

No progress here… WMR still at one bar. Filed just after the cut off time on the 6th for that cycle. No transcripts yet either. Got to love this waiting game.

After about a week checked transcripts
The year showed up on my transcripts but when I would open them nothing was in the file just 0’s4 Days ago my bar disappeared ( I though ..ok we are getting close) Nothing …waited till the magical 21 days had past and even gave an extra day before calling.
One the first call I got a very helpful lady who researched my account but could not help me. She finally came on and told me I needed to call the ID Verify dept. I called them and got a very nice woman named Ms Evans. She research and found TT had sent a EMPTY FILE…it was just enough to give me a file number in the IRS system but absolutely NOTHING was in it..no return found. This caused the IRS computer to flag my account!
She asked me a ton of questions to verify i was who i said I was and it was my account. Then told me I would have to go into the nearest IRS office (45miles one way) and give them my ss card and Id as well as my childrens birth certificates!
After getting off the phone with her I proceeded to call TT…waited 45 minutes to get a person who asked my name and email and was obviously new…then without another word but me back in que to transfer. I FINALLY got Anothy from TT on the phone and after about an hour of him relaying messages to tier 2 support so they could relay it to tier 3 support they decided my return never transferred….not shit!! Now since the computer system still shows it DID transfer I am locked out…meaning they cannot send my return to the IRS…because it is “already there”..WAIT it gets better!!
They then proceeded to tell me I could try taking it to the local (45miles) office with the paperwork I have to take anyway…(only because their software caused me to be flagged) but they doubted they could send it electronically either and I would have to mail it in!!
TURBO TAX SUCKS
I’ve never heard of such a thing happening… The only thing you can maybe do at this point is check with your bank for a pending deposit and if they see nothing call the IRS and verify the bank info provided on your return.
