I have a 766 code for 4/15/2022. It is what the child tax credit would have been, however it wasn’t included in my refund. It is just sitting there with a 766 credit to your account. I just got my federal refund, but no ctc. You cannot get throught to the irs no matter what time you call. So I am thinking that I am not getting the rest of my CTC payment.

I don’t have a delayed message, but I know why I haven’t seen any updates yet. I received two 6419 letters from the IRS regarding the advanced Child Tax Credits issued in 2021. I thought they were duplicate letters because my wife doesn’t work, but it turns out they split the amount evenly for both of us for some reason. So, I only reported half of the amount we received. Now I have to wait for them to correct and adjust my return.

I also filed 2/7 and bars went away and received the “still processing” memo on Sunday. I can see my account transcript and I show a code 290 for the very dates I received the stimulus and the ACTC. I am thinking that is what they are reviewing with mine, but I don’t think anyone truly knows.

I’m a weekly so I won’t update til Friday but I believe that lots of us who claimed those damn payments got pushed into errors. Mine was adjusted on 2/25 so hopefully by Friday it updates

Did you happen to claim the advance payments? Or had another child? For me I did both but also didn’t use both 8419 notices to report my payments because I thought they made a mistake and sent 2 instead of them splitting it into 2 notices (I file married joint)

877 777 4778 press 1 and then 1 again when prompted. Ask them to transfer you yo accounts management. That’s how I’ve spoken to the IRS.

They Didn’t tell you anything? You probably didn’t have an error at all can you see transcript I can guide you through checking for errors . Also if there was a error it won’t take 8 weeks that’s a generic time frame then use it for everything just like the famous 45 to 60 day review. If u really had error you will probably see something In. 2 weeks so you can cycle back through. U could see update next week . Good luck

Today my WMR updated with same processing message but my amount is gone and it says “Tax period ending Dec 31 2021”. Anyone had this issue? It looks like others amounts are changing as well which is BS cause my returns are pretty simple and straight forward and I was clear that i DID receive stimulus.

@Candi so what I sent was my W2, my lease agreement showing ive been living in the same NYS location the entire year including showing my dependents lived in same address for entire year. so if you have dependents make sure you have something with your address for them and W2s. Upload that so its faster otherwise you will be waiting 60days but responding now you can shorten the time to 30days or less. NYS sucks.

Same thing happened to me. It shows deleted. I called this morning 8am on the dot and spoke to someone whom told me that they do not know what the letter says or how long to process. That the RFI letter will be mailed around 3/3 or a week later from the date on the account. Number to call is 518-457-5181

I have no updates here. Transcripts N/A and WMR is 1 bar. I probably won’t see anything at the earliest this weekend. But I have a feeling I won’t see anything for another month because of an error in my taxes due to under-reporting the advanced CTC.

Just got off the phone with the irs filed 1/24 delay message. He pulled me up and said that if you have the delay message they haven’t even touched your return. he said the only thing on the account at all was that it was received. He said that anyone who filed early is getting screwed because they couldn’t touch them till the 14th of Feb. when they finally did they had a huge backlog and instead of starting with oldest returns they started with the newest returns.

I want my processing date to stay the same but it’s possible to be moved out.. so my 570 date 2-28-2022 aka hold refund from being released idk why. So if irs is playing by the rules then Friday I will see hold release 571 or another hold 570 with future date because not done review or I need to ID verify but need letter first. If agent doesn’t manually release hold and issue 846 the system will automatically release hold. Hope that helps

Hey y’all. I filed and was accepted on 2/16. I checked my mail yesterday and I have to verify my ID for my state taxes in Virginia. I haven’t had any movement except my as of date changing from 12/21 to 3/14 and back to 12/21. WMR just says is being processed with TT and amount on side. Where does everyone else stand?

@Geekgodmedia 😲 mine was processed/approved quicker than it’s ever been since 2015. F 2/24, 2 W2’s, one 1099 (UI), one 1099-INT (interest the IRS paid on my UI refund), 1 kid (rcvd the ACTC $), I only qualified for the other 1/2 of ctc$, no EIC$ this time. tax withholdings we’re wrong, sucks bcuz it reduced my RF by the thousands compared to last yr ND yrs prior, BUT WMR updated 2approved on 2/26 w/ a DD for 3/2!! Good 🤞 hope u get the WMR update 2morrow morning
