After 34 days of waiting since I filed and return was accepted, I checked my transcripts today and I FINALLY GOT A DD OF 3/9/2022. I was so worried that something was wrong!

Last year I filed IS form separate from my Original and I waited until September to get just the UI portion back. Too much of a pain now to go back and amend it or try to get the rest, but that’s probably what I should have done in the first place with all the changes they made.

@arreyis I’ve been checking everyday, however no movement. I’m hoping & praying that my as of date doesn’t get pushed back again. Last year they did that to me & it took forever to get my return. I read an article stating that the irs had to move people around to help with processing returns. It just sucks because it seems like the people who file as an injured spouse gets put on the back burner all the time. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I filed 2/1 and got the delayed message 2/18. I called thia morning and was told that my refund was in errors department, that i had to wait 10 weeks from the date they received it witch is 2/1. She couldn’t tell me what the error was or even if there was an error, they could just be checking for errors. Maybe since i claimed a new dependent and the stimulus that came with it it when straight to errors for verification 🤷🏾‍♂️

This year has been so different! Spoke to IRS he said they’re still working on 2019, 2020 and now 2021. Still in the processing department. WMR says still being processed. It’s weird because a lot of ppl have got DDD’s already. I guess they’re just randomly pulling the manual returns that need special attention out of a big hat. Can’t figure it out! Don’t think it’s by cycle anymore. And the errors department just simply means still being processed. 10 weeks is bologna!!

@JoyJ you have to create a IRS account. When you log in you’ll select view tax record, at bottom it’s says get Transcript and that’s what we’re all watching. Unless you call but it’s useless I heard unless someone knows different.

I received a letter like that as well. I called IRS and got through and the rep just said “I’m sorry you have the wrong SSN on that letter but you do have to ID verify using the phone number on the letter and by the way, its hard to get through on phone so you will have to keep trying”.

Today I finally got an update to transcripts but not on wmr. WMR still says STILL BEING processed.I had codes 570 971 766. Today I got an 846 on transcripts for date 3/09/22.
Before today I had no 846.
THE MISTAKE-put the wrong EIP amount.
refund automatically on hold 4 16wks. I just got 846 date of 3/9/2022 and 3/21/2022 In the places it used to say 3/14/2022 and 4/15/2022. I hope this gives hope

877 777 4778 press 1 and then 1 again when prompted. Ask to be transferred to accounts management.(this is the tax advocate number) . This was the only was I was able to get through to the IRS.

My cycle code is 20220805 but I filed 1/12. Been in errors since then and finally updated today. If you have 570 code I’d suggest calling to see why(if they can tell you)

That’s after I F/A 1/27/22 but knowing I screwed up with the advanced CTC. I knew I would be delayed. However I am now scheduled to have it deposited. Not sure this helps you.

This happened to my partner! He even received a DDD and showed “approved” and then “refund sent” on WMR and it never got deposited. His transcripts show deposit canceled right under the deposit date. He CANNOT get through when he calls and my return is still stuck on the “delayed” message on wmr. We both filed and were accepted 1/29 so it’s been frustrating.

I received the ID Verification letter from the IRS, however, the last 4 digits of the SSN does not match with mine. I cannot get through to any phone numbers for the IRS to correct this.
