Okay I have read every forum I can find this morning, and have found a pattern.

First of there is a small group of people who have 570 and not the 896, and they were just confused, so their info doesn’t help us.

Second there is another small group of the 896/570’s that are reporting their refund amount on their transcript shows their full refund amount before the penalty was deducted, and the ones in that group that called the IRS, are being told they have other issues.

That puts the rest in a third group. The ones who have 570/896, and their transcripts reflect the amount already deducted. These ones that have called are reporting that there is no issue, and not to worry about it.

This is what I stated I found the other night. For anyone with the 896/570, and you don’t have any other tax issues, offsets, pending credits, etc., the 570 is supposed to drop off on the 4 business day, and I still stand by that.

So I called the IRS yesterday because I’ve been waiting since 1/12 with no updates, no bars, no transcripts. My rep told me there was an error in my processing that I had been resequenced but the error was fixed. She said “good thing it got fixed, if it wasn’t there’d be a long delay”. Oh boy. But she was able to give me a ddd date. Now, from what I understand, went TT had the glitch, it really was the IRS’s glitch. They of course weren’t ready for the healthcare forms – whether you needed a waiver or not, whether you had your own healthcare or used the governments. The forms caused people to glitch, especially those who filed early. That’s all I know.

Another comment from FB page “ChuckandHeather Hodge I called 2 different IRS people. First guy said that I would receive it on Friday according to my cycle date but he couldn’t really answer the 570 freeze thing. The second lady, said that it was a freeze because of the health care penalty, and it would take 4 business days to clear so the money would be released on the next batch which is next Wednesday. If it comes Friday, Hell Yes but it will probably be next week and she sounded more competent than the first guy.” So in this case 4 days from when you were able to access the transcripts. I know some people accessed it on Monday, there is not date marked of when transcript was created, the only date I see changed to todays date. I didn’t check my transcripts till Tuesday but they may have been available Monday, so 4 days from Monday is 1/30 DDD which aligns with my cycle number. If it’s counting from Tuesday then probably won’t get it till 2/2 DDD.

I called 1-800-829-0922 pressed the option for “received a letter ” then pressed 2 to find out the amount owed entered my SSN and then it asked me to hold, said there was 15-30 minute wait and I got to a rep. Hope this helps out who ever was looking to get directly to a rep. Funny how you say you owe them money and get someone right away but if you are looking for help the darn system hangs up on you… thats the IRS for ya.

Chris sometimes we need a little divine intervention when dealing with the IRS…..especially those who over spent last month and are counting pennies to get to the next pay day or like myself….made a irrational purchase and just need to replenish my savings account….lol either way I’m going to need the IRS to stop keeping my money hostage and release the funds to me and everyone else who they owe money to immediately…..

One others interesting thing about 2/16….we all began officially processing 20150402 Monday…1/26/2015…..21days from there is 2/16/2015…..look at your transcripts……it has a place on one of them for interest accrued….and 2/16 beside it with 0’s. If they don’t have it done by then the IRS will have to pay interest on literally millions of dollars. So I don’t doubt that they want to expedite this. Just wish we had received some form of notice that this could happen and that maybe we shouldn’t be alarmed about it.

My cycle codes are always 01, or 02 I usually get my refund on a Friday or a Thursday when the bank posted it early and It usually mid feb Friday or the last two years the end of feb. Like the 21, 2013 and the 28th last year… So the cycle code makes sense.. Sucks but worst case senorio is it would have to be there the 11th… Or interest!!!! :)

A lot of us are getting the IPSU message this year and no reason why. Theory is that you may have answered questions wrong. I have spoke to 3 reps there. As long as you truly dont have ID Theft issues I was told it would be ok. However once you have that indicator you CAN’T order transcripts online, you have to order through them sl they can verify it is you, then they will mail out. Hope this helps :)

Hello. I’m sorry if this question has been asked already. I am trying to look at my transcripts online, I enter all my info (name social address) and hit submit I get a message saying “The system cannot verify your identity” It doesn’t tell me to call, it just states to check my info and try again. I know I am entering my information correctly as I have been able to pull them in the past. Does anyone know why I am getting this message??

You will know if its already taken out if you look back up towards the top and it has a note about a minus sign being a credit. Is that amount reflecting your full refund or the amount after penalty

i have read, on here through reliable source, the 896/570 should update tonight and if your a 20150402 , funds should be released tonight/tommrw. the 896 is the healthcode penalty and the 570 is ‘holding’ your return so it doesn’t go out to you without the penalty being applied, which is supposed to happen tonight.

If you paid your 34.99 at the time of filing, with your credit card or debit card, your refund will NOT go through SBBT. SBBT is a tax preparation group that is used when you choose the option to have the filing fees taken out of your refund, rather than paying upfront with a credit/debit card. You would only have an SBBT account if the 34.99 was being taken directly from your refund!

@BartD: Accepted by IRS on 01/20/15. Since then I have been stuck on one bar with no progression. I’ve had no changes in my info whatsoever. I don’t know how accurate the cycle codes ( I don’t even understand the cycle codes) are but for the past two years, mine has been 20140601 (I was part of the 1121 fiasco) and 20130804 ( I was part of the education credit fiasco) After the past two stressful tax seasons I just want one without any glitches! Any ideas when you think I should be able to see my transcripts and get a DDD?

Last year SBBT deposited my funds sometime around 3 pm PST. The year before that I had my funds at 10 am PST. It is 10:27 am PST an still no funds on my green dot card. There are so many different answers and stories. Although the facts remain that we do have 896/570 codes. Is it possible that since we filed early not only did they gives these codes but resequenced us at the same time, another theory to throw out there. I just wish we good get an honest answer. We pay tax companies to file our taxes, they should be able to help get an answer!

I just spoke to someone at BOA as well, he said something similar. Since it’s ACH, it needs to go through their overnight processing which can take up to two days. If they receive it today anytime before 8 PM Eastern, then it will be available tomorrow morning.

Can anyone back this statement up, or was he just saying a generic message. I thought we were paying SBBT the $34.99 fee as a wire fee essentially. I also don’t remember it taking more than a day last year. Although it looks to be the case that we won’t be seeing the cash till tomorrow at the earliest. Anyone know any different?

My husband just called H&R Block Emerald Card customer service to see if there is a pending deposit for our refund. WMR says we are approved to the money will be deposited by Jan 30th.. Well the people at H&R Block told him it could be all the way up to the 12th before it posts but should be sooner.. Ummm I thought the Emerald Card was supposed to be fast!??

You all have given me a breath of hope. I was starting to freak that maybe i was under extended review for what ever reason. i was so scared because my sister and my boyfriend who both filed the same day as me, have a DDD set for tomorrow. I only have the 1 bar on WMR and i was started to get really scared. I bought a house in 2014 so i didnt know if something like that was holding it up and threw up a red flag. I get so nervous for no reason. the government and IRS scares me, but its nice to see that i am not the only one who is still only 1 bar. Fingers crossed that we have some info tomorrow!!! also, on my transcripts, all are n/a except wages and income, and that says

I have a question. Why did so many people file as early as the 8th of January when the irs announced that they wouldn’t process returns until the 20th? It seems there are a ton of people who filed before the 20th and they’re having a lot of problems getting progress on their refunds. On the other hand, there are a ton of people who filed on the 20th and a few days later who are getting their refunds tomorrow. I’m in that group. I filed on the 23rd and got a DDD for the 30th and my state refund was in my bank this morning. 7 days from filing to refund is something I’ve never experienced until this year. Just wondering if by filing so early did something to their returns.

When I checked SBBT earlier, under dispursment details it didn’t have very much info, however when I just checked back it said my amount and Dispursed to my customer id number and under note it said “GREENDOT”.. So I believe they just recently released them.

I just spoke to someone at BoA, he told me that since it’s an ACH deposit, realistically I’ll be seeing it anywhere from tomorrow morning to Tuesday morning at the latest. I’m not sure if that’s just actually realistic or just a generic CYA response.

Various factors come into play with when people file and get their DDD.
I filed & immediately accepted 1/26 (Monday)
WMR showing 1 bar
tax transcript viewable 1/28 (Wednesday)
account transcript viewable 1/29 (today Thursday)
showing cycle code 20150404
code 846 with date 02162015

From what I’ve read I should have a DDD of 2/2 or somewhere thereabout….

I’m going more by transcripts than WMR because the bars didn’t correlate last year for me.

I’m just going to say a little prayer for us….”Dear God, please let us get our DDD or at least be able to see our transcripts by Sunday morning (preferably tomorrow Lord….but we’re not trying to be pushy) we all are overly stressed about these 2014 taxes and a little angery that ppl who filed after us will be getting checks tomorrow (completely unfair….but anyway)….Lord a little hope is all we need to get us to Wednesday…..we are good ppl father God and I just ask that you help us out….just this one time….we will not ask for any more tax assistance until next year Lord…..I know you are able and I know you know our hearts desires….in Jesus name we pay…..let the 05 group say AMEN.”

I haven’t had a chance to read through and see how things are going this year. I filed early last year and got stuck in the glitches so I planned to wait until the season started this year. Come to find out, I didn’t have a choice as it took longer than normal to get my husband’s w2. Are things going smoothly? Decent turnaround? Have people started receiving their refund already? How long did it take? Sorry for all the questions! I’m so anxious!
