Go to your account transcript and at the bottom it has a section marked transactions.
under that it will have code 846 Refund Issued- and then the date and amount on the same line.

2/7: Refund Issued on 2/6Last year it was 4 business days (1/30 issued, received on 2/5). I am expecting the same this year.

2/6: WMR gave me the ‘unable to locate’ message after yesterday’s processing.Logged onto the FTB about 10 minutes ago and it shows my return as processed with the amount for my refund I had expected as a credit( I can already view a copy of my return as well). Hopefully will see the same as years past with tomorrow showing the refund was issued. Then around 4 days after that I should see the actual refund. Fingers crossed.
I will preface this by saying that last year this is the first time it happened to me and this year has followed true as well.
Last year I was accepted on a Monday night, by that Wednesday, my transcripts had N/A online, however I was able to order both transcripts by phone and order mail that same afternoon. The following day (Thursday), I was able to view transcripts online with the following Wednesday as a DD.
Everyone said they would be blank last year, in fact they weren’t and were completed. I would try to take a look through the phone system or order them by mail online. See if you have any luck. Again, could be a fluke, but worth a shot.
I filed early afternoon yesterday and was accepted shortly thereafter. I am weekly. I do remember I did it on a Monday last year as well and by Wednesday I had a DD for the following week. I am not sure to expect that again this year.
I filed and was accepted on 1/29. Was the generic processing until Monday morning when it changed to further review…which is where I have stood since then.
I also worked in California this year and received that and my federal already after filing and being accepted on the same day(1/29).
Furthermore, the website seems to be in and out since last week, seems as though there is something else going on. For all of these people to have the further review, they are either having issues or stalling to pay refunds.
Just an update, I was approved for refund on 1/30 and still haven’t received it yet. Hopefully tomorrow. If not, Monday/Tuesday will be the days.

@Ambers was correct I was able to see my transcripts online today with a refund date. I wasn’t able to view them yesterday, but was able to order them.
I had no credits.

My cycle code of 20180505I know I am weekly from prior years, which is why I haven’t seen a WMR update (it’s still on 1 bar). I will see that tomorrow morning most likely and the refund comes on Wednesday as it does with weekly.
Woke up with WMR still on 1 bar, but signed on and was able to view my transcripts with a Cycle Date of 20180505. I am pumped, I was able to order them yesterday by mail and phone but today I can see them online.
@Kyle things may have changed this year. But I was going off years past. I was never able to order return until they were done processing. Yet I was able to order account at any point and it would come blank. Furthermore, I have ordered mine on the phone and through mail days prior to them showing up online last year.
So again, I am not saying your wrong because I do feel as though there is a glitch. However, saying you can return both transcripts and they would show up blank in the past is incorrect. Just read and of the forums from prior years, the golden ticket was when you were actually able to order your return transcripts.
@wheresmydamnrefund I just did a back search for @Victoria333 and looked to see when hers was authorized. She was authorized on 1/29, and received it last night (1/31). She had it on her netspend which I think is usually a day faster if I am correct. So if I was approved 1/30– should be tomorrow or Saturday by that standard… hopefully!
@jerseygirl02 with transcripts your talking about ordering via mail and on the phone? I moved in 2016 and last year my new address didn’t correlate to my returns until after they processed it. So you might be right.
Are you able to view them online? I’m still unable to see them online but was able to order my return and account transcripts yesterday. As I said, it might be a glitch, but in the past I’ve been able to order account and it would come back blank, but never return until processing was finished. It would always give me an error.
I guess the question is, can anyone NOT order their return transcript this year? That would help begin to establish if its a glitch or not maybe?

I have never had anything turnaround so quickly. It’s absolutely amazing. Does anyone know whether it takes the full 10 days or when I should expect it? I have my bachelor party this weekend, it would be awesome if I had it for that!
For those that were able to order transcripts by mail or phone, did you login to their online system for transcripts? I did and they weren’t there. But, when I tried to order both my mail and phone I was able to. Curious to see if this is an IRS error?

So I have a bit of a unique situation. I can’t view my transcripts online for this year, they aren’t available. However I can order both Account/Return by mail AND the phone. Is this an error that anyone else is having OR could it actually mean my return is done?

I filed 1/19- accepted the same day. Last Saturday 1/30, all bars and tax topic disappeared. As of today I got a nice man who gave me the identity phone number saying that was holding me up. After 1.5 hours on hold answered all of the questions then got disconnected. Start it again, 2 hours later made sure it went through then I got the woman telling me the slight delay of 9 weeks too. To which I replied why? She said I was under review they needed to match w2’s. I told her I’d furnish those today to expedite. Obviously that’s a no. However, they don’t get w2’s till June from companies. So, I’m inclined to not believe her? I’m going to figure this out at some point. But this is absurd!
Mine is now saying “The information you have entered does not match our records.” For Both my old and new address now. However, my old address still works when I call. Maybe progress?
@Jenj I cannot see it on the mobile app, but when on the website it is there. However, again I don’t have tax topic and just the generic message.
On 1.29 I could order my account transcript but not return. Also, could only order them with my old address, moved about 4 months ago. Today I couldn’t access them on the website at all (wrong information) but I could on the phone.
I filed accepted on 1/19. Bars disappeared on Saturday morning and NO tax topic, just a generic message saying “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.”
Amount is still there. Can still order account trans but no return with my OLD address. SW IRS yesterday and they said my return hasn’t finished processing but may take up to 8 weeks if they find something wrong with it”
Miserable.. Anyone else with the same message?
Does everyone with no bars still have tax topic? Mine went on Saturday morning and still haven’t come back with no tax topic.

So I started another topic earlier this morning with the exact same problem. Here is what i just found out:
“So, I just got off the phone with someone at the IRS- she initially gave me the cookie cutter response, but finally she took a look at it.
Apparently my return hasn’t posted, which means it’s being looked at. It doesn’t mean there is necessarily anything wrong with it, but that they are making sure everything is correct.
I asked her how long the process, she said it could take up to 8 weeks. I said, could it change tomorrow, she said, most likely not. But if there is something wrong with it, they will change the status and send me communication. Call back after the 21 days.”
I just spoke to someone at BOA as well, he said something similar. Since it’s ACH, it needs to go through their overnight processing which can take up to two days. If they receive it today anytime before 8 PM Eastern, then it will be available tomorrow morning.
Can anyone back this statement up, or was he just saying a generic message. I thought we were paying SBBT the $34.99 fee as a wire fee essentially. I also don’t remember it taking more than a day last year. Although it looks to be the case that we won’t be seeing the cash till tomorrow at the earliest. Anyone know any different?
They don’t have pending deposit for my account at BOA
When I spoke to them this morning she said to call back after 9. I did and they still didn’t see a pending Deposit coming in. I couldn’t get a straight answer as to whether they release funds as they come in or only at specified times during a day (eg 9 AM). She didn’t grasp that concept and kept saying it will be posted according to how SBBT sent it (1 day, 2 day, etc). Has anyone else spoke to anyone there? Does what you were told match up to what I was told? Hope to get something today!
I checked this morning when I was leaving for work at 6, wasn’t there. Thought, oh well, tomorrow it will come. Then I just popped on here to see, and since some of you saw yours decided to check mine again. Low and behold, there it is. It says on the website that it was sent to my bank already. I just called BOA- the woman who helped me said she didn’t see anything, but the system updates all at 9 AM. Then she said it depends on how it was sent? I told her it was coming through as an ACH Direct Deposit which is what SBBT says. She wasn’t extremely knowledgeable but she was a sweetheart. Here’s to hoping 9 AM shows it.

I filed and accepted on 1/23. Still on one bar, I was able to order transcript across the board and saw a cycle of 20150402. I have the 846 code and it says refund date of 2-16-2015.
Not to beat a dead horse, but should I be expecting my refund this Friday/Monday? Thanks and good luck to everyone!
