Last year the IRS altered my tax return for the first stimulus. It was exactly 9 weeks to the date of issue. If the logic holds true we will see tax refunds in mid April. I filed 2/5/22 accepted same day. I have the still being processed message. I married last year and have step children added to my return. I expected a slight delay to verify the new information but I had no idea it could take ten weeks.

Filed 2/21 Accepted same day. With Tax act as of 3/19 have a 570/971 TC code as of 4/4/2022 (both same day auto adjust). Recovery Rebate was entered incorrectly on tax forms. Heard in some cases people are receiving DDD 12 days prior to the processing date. Hoping this is true but any real facts are better than pipe dreams. Please educate me on what to expect.

talked to tax advocate and they have my refund on hold and are reviewing my returns, that they randomly choose returns to do this to and I should receive my refund within 120 days.

Chime,cashapp,brinks all get deposited 2 days sooner if you have these cards and are funded tpg then you’ll have it today sometime idk why they say 2 days sooner but I have all 3 of these cards with deposits for all of them and I always get it the day before the deposited date

@Jessecka that’s exactly what I don’t like about them. I tell you we just went through a lot together this tax season. Wish we could meet up for drinks when this is over!! At least I know within the next two days we will have something. I’m going to do some money flips this year somehow to make sure I’m not waiting like this next year. I had codes 971, 570 for dates 03/28/2022. The IRS was Able to fix my return and adjusted my return and I got 1400 added to my refund because my son was born last year in March. My cycle code was 1005.

Hello everyone I got a ddd for 3/23 had to idverify twice once online second over the phone got accepted 1/26 verified online but that is not for the verification needed for the irs that is only to access transcripts and other information I had a still being processed message for 2 months finally called the irs got thru and the verified over the phone took 4 days verified Monday got ddd friday bank with chime I hope this helps
