@Ida….same here, Filed 1/25 accepted 1/26 amount showing in green as of 1/29…still showing processing though, I can’t remember after it turns green how long it was until I got return
So has anyone from the test batch gotten any updates? I got accepted on the 19th, so if that is right, I should be updating this weekend, with a DD of the 7th.
@Neek, I’m NOT a Pather. My children are grown. So, I have filed the same way and typically receive my refund by 1st or 2nd week in Feb. Oh well, no letter yet. We shall see.
I never even heard of a pather having any type of update before 15 February. You might want to check transcripts.
I filed 01/29/2024 which was yesterday and im still waiting to be accepted it’s never taken this long to be accepted ??? Federal was accepted in a few hours
Called in today to ask if I would need to verify my income like last year and was told yes. Uploaded my documents on the Ftb website and was told I could call back in 48 hours to see if they received them. Last year I still received my refund within a few days of verifying.

Anyone have experience with using Jackson Hewitt and the serve card? I’m having my fees taken out and I have child tax credit for my federal. My state was issued yesterday and I assume they will take the fees from that? But the republic bank tax site seems to only pertain to the federal dispersement and it can’t find my account. Any insight would be appreciated
@WhiteWolf, Never had any issues with IRS or Identity. I usually don’t even check WMR, I go by my transcripts. I checked on Saturday and tried to verify (even though I have been in system for ID me for 2 years and everything is current) I got same message as you. I tried to call yesterday. Hopefully transcript update on Friday will show if letter is mailed. Filed with TT, Return accepted 01/18, Transcript updated last Friday the 26th with 2023 account, blank except for As of 02/12/2023.
Called the IRS. She confirmed my H&R block submission was rejected on the 23rd. My Jackson Hewitt was accepted yesterday even though my status still says in review online. Hope this helps
Filed my straight-forward return 1/18, with EITC & ACTC. No changes in 10 years. I’ve always been in good standing with the IRS, never had to owe. WMR was 1 bar, then disappeared with an “Action Req’d” alert. Verify identity. That link brings me to ID.me, which is current and up to date. Then the msg says, “I cannot use this service to verify”. I called the IRS. They state a letter will be mailed within 3 weeks, follow instructions. Here’s my first question. Why wait 3 weeks to answer identifying questions, when I’m already waiting as a Pather? Question 2- Old posts on this issue state a 9 week wait following this process. REALLY? Or is this more streamlined now? Fed up.
Trying to look up transcript. The id.com app keeps getting stuck at step 3 of the verification process. Anyone else? Any way to solve that I’m not seeing?

Look at the last 2 digits of your Cycle Code. If it ends in 01, 02, 03, 04 transactions post to our IMF account daily except weekends. If it ends in 05, you could be weekly or daily. For weekly accounts, transactions are posted to the IMF account only once weekly.

Yea it take up to 2 weeks for transcripts to update IMHO
It’s just a guess. I can even tell you once you have a filling date. Give you 2 weeks from then as a “EST” date
In the past I had the “Still processing” My situation was tax had to be offset.
Instead of blaming HR , you should be asking who might’ve filed it and how were they able gain your info. Don’t see how this is HR fault if the perp had all your info. If you suspicions it could be an employee then yes they’re liable. It’s in IRS hands. They should be able to freeze the transaction They might want to to files a police report.
I filed in office at HR block on 1/24. I had been on the myblock app before taxes were submitted to check the balance on our emerald card ( making sure it wasn’t negative) the only thing it said about taxes was the estimate your 2023 return. We finished filing and left the office waiting on a text about the refund advance. When we hadn’t heard anything for a few hours I got back on my block to check the card and seen there were TWO filings. One for in office that we did and an online return that we didn’t do. I’m not sure how this happened. We have NEVER filed online! However it happened they used 2 of our 2022 w2s. HR block says they can’t help, it is a fraudulent return and that we have to work with the IRS. What can I do on my end besides going through IRS? We have already started the process, but how do I make HR Block admit responsibility to this? How did someone get our 2022 tax info from HR block?? Please help!
Also WMR says the fraud return has been recieved and is being processed. I was really hoping that I would wake up this morning and it would show rejected but no such luck.Good idea! Sometimes they catch, sometimes they don’t.

No change as of 8 AM ET today (1/30).

Have always been a daily.I called first century to inquire last week and was told i was disqualified because i was flagged for an offset, dispite the fact that i passed their pre-qualification, that i was accepted and am only showing topic 152, not 203 and more importantly that i called the BFS hotline and was told i have NO OFFSET!!! So how does first century know about an offset that doesn’t exist.
This is correct.TT said EV form 8936 should be ready on the 29th. Due the the changes they have to implement. So we couldn’t file early. I used tax slayer. Kept getting rejected for EV credit. Without knowing why, taxslayer also had to update form 8936
TaxSlayer updated their forms the 28th No more rejected. Was accepted todaySo turbo tax says my MD was accepted on the 22nd state site doesn’t show anything. Same for my daughter and my brother in law. Does anyone show their state returns as received on the Maryland site yet. Or is it like ours and just notified by the tax preparer software that it was accepted. I’m on path so I’m impatiently waiting for my state since I still have weeks to wait for my federal.
My state updated and states it was issued yesterday. So guess that’s decent news. I always have been a weekly update so maybe that’s why my federal only says received like @travishion mentioned

I ended up filing at H&R block and Jackson Hewitt. I first went to H&R to try and get refund advance which I was denied for.(H&R block said they would pull my submission then said they couldn’t after I went to JH.) I then went to Jackson Hewitt and tried to get one there as well which I was also denied for. H&R federal was rejected. As far as Jackson Hewitt it shows my federal is in review and the IRS website just says received.

@DON I haven’t been approved yet, I had to send in some verifications. But based on previous years you should have your refund Thursday or Friday unless you have an offset.
You should be accepted soon I was in the test batch filed 1/25/2024 accepted 1/25/2024 so good luck 🤞🍀
@mari808 what day was yours approved by CAFTB? I use BofA and they always seem to hold it a day or 2 longer than most banks

Hey all, my Ohio state was of course accepted today and says it was received and posted to their system but is currently under manual review and to allow 150 days from the posted date for processing which seems pretty excessive. Is this a normal message or is something wrong?

Yes. WMR rarely updates for me, if at all. Note: Transcripts will ALWAYS update with each step in your return, including letters sent…etc.

@taxinvader I filed 1/29 accepted 1/19. No update since then.
Using TT, got my w2, my HSA and 401k stuff etc. TT is telling me my form for my electric vehicle isn’t ready but there is no date listed and the form was avail as of Jan 24 according to irs. Anyone else have an EV tax credit with this issue?
