Anyone else not accepted yet?

I submitted our taxes last night before opening date through Turbo Tax and requested the refund advance. However, our return isn’t even accepted yet. I understand there’s a backlog of people waiting but my anxiety levels are high because of needing the advance for family emergencies. Is there anyone else who isn’t accepted yet either?

Called the IRS. She confirmed my H&R block submission was rejected on the 23rd. My Jackson Hewitt was accepted yesterday even though my status still says in review online. Hope this helps

My state updated and states it was issued yesterday. So guess that’s decent news. I always have been a weekly update so maybe that’s why my federal only says received like @travishion mentioned

Yall , then irs doesn’t update throughout the day. Usually overnight but you might be in a batch that only gets updated once a week. Patience! Redneck Lottery is coming!!!

I ended up filing at H&R block and Jackson Hewitt. I first went to H&R to try and get refund advance which I was denied for.(H&R block said they would pull my submission then said they couldn’t after I went to JH.) I then went to Jackson Hewitt and tried to get one there as well which I was also denied for. H&R federal was rejected. As far as Jackson Hewitt it shows my federal is in review and the IRS website just says received.

I’m in the exact same situation as you were when you created this post (I’ve seen where you said that you’ve been accepted by now, congrats). I filled ours last night at about 9:30 pm eastern time, and I also selected the advance option also. Unfortunately, that’s where our similarities stop because I’ve yet to receive the email/text telling me that I’ve been accepted.

I jsut checked on IRS where’s my refund, and it shows they have received it. I’m hoping TT is jsut delayed on updating.
The FTB where’s my refund still shows that they have no received it though

Hey Alexis. I filed Saturday with hr Block I got the refund advance i have 2 dependants and haven’t even been accepted yet. I’m starting to worry and when I log into my hr Block account it saying I didn’t file with them in Previous years and I can’t even pull up any of my prior tax refunds with hr Block and I file with them every year.

UPDATE:

I did check TurboTax website and under “view e-file details” it shows that my return has been received by the IRS as of today at 10:39 AM. Here’s hoping we all see movement! Feel free to reply back here if any of y’all get updated!

In my experience, TurboTax always sends an email when your refund has changed status. If you got the refund advance through Credit Karma, they will send you an email as well. I hope this helps! :)

I filed couple weeks ago. Still says refund received. Maybe they update tomorrow? I already exceeded my attempts so maybe JH will send an email if it is accepted today?

I’m in the same situation and haven’t been accepted either this is my first year using turbo tax in 10 years do they send an email when it’s accepted ?
