I e-filed on 01/31/2014 and at some point the wmr stated that my refund was sent on 2/11/2014 but I never got the dd. Now wmr only showing “we have recevied your refund and it is being processed”. I am confused as well because it said sent then I never received my refund. I am so frustrated because it was not like this last year. My cycle is 20140604 and still no refund. I printed my account transcript and it has future dates and I don’t understand it.

Can anyone update PLEASE? I’ve called every # I can find to possibly stop the offset which I did not know I had because I’ve been paying my payments. I do not have a job anymore, have 3 kids & no help. I’m honest on my taxes and do not have any assistance thus far, could they still depo my refund as shown on WMR site? My DDD is 2/24/14 and I’m really worried! Help!!! Any1 still receive their refund with a topic 203 possible status?

Ok, I did some more digging and I need to correct a few things!

1.) The first week DOES include the first “half week” of January.

2.) I believe the cycle date refers to when the return is going to be processed.

3.) As per the IRS manual: “IMF computes this field as the posted cycle date PLUS four business days for Direct Deposit refunds; posted cycle date PLUS six business days for Paper Check refunds.”

So, the cycle date 20140805 would mean that the return is processed on 2/20/2014 and the actual monetary return would be the cycle date PLUS 4 business days. Thus, the return should be scheduled for 2/26/2014. (Which is almost essentially the same thing as I posted before but I think that this is a more correct way to interpret cycle dates.)

Again, my interpretation could be totally wrong so don’t rely solely on my thoughts!

I filed my taxes with TurboTax, as I have for the past 8 years. When I use WMR, my bar says return was accepted and I should receive my refund within 21 days. When I check the status of my return through TurboTax, it shows me a DDD of 3/7. But below the DDD information, TurboTax shows this little chart that shows people who’s returns were accepted the same day as mines (2/15) and that already 59% of the users have already received their refund. I already looked at the transcript from the IRS and the date they give me is 3/10.

Has anybody receive their return that was accepted on 2/15? Any progress at all?

I was doing some research trying to understand how the cycle codes work. I found this page and found a portion of the IRS manual that seems to pertain to cycle codes.

“IMF Cycle Date is a daily cycle designated by an eight digit number indicating the year, the two digit cycle number and the two digit number indicating the day of the week (YYYYWWDD). The following values for DD are defined: 01 = Friday, 02 = Monday, 03 = Tuesday, 04 = Wednesday, 05 = Thursday.”

My cycle code is: 20140805. Assuming I understand this correctly and I am reading the right portion of the IRS manual, this would mean that I should see my refund in year 2014, 8th week of the year, on the 5th day of the week. (February 27, 2014) I am also assuming that WEEK 1 begins with the first FULL week of January and does not include the “half-week” at the very beginning.

Unfortunately, I cannot yet confirm this as my WMR still only shows one bar. Perhaps others who have received their refund can confirm that this is accurate. I will update once I have received a DDD on WMR. Hope this helps!

I filed on 1/29 and TT said I was accepted on 1/30, I have been on the no bars showing only processing for about a week and 3 days now, at first it didn’t have my refund amount, then early this week that popped up. I called the IRS yesterday and spoke with a person who said my return wasn’t actually accepted until the 14th and to only rely on that date. She told me to wait 21 days from that day to call again if it has not gone through by then. So now Im looking at approximately waiting until march 7 for my return. So anyone else stuck there is hope, I think they are just really behind and aren’t admitting it.

The irs accepted my return on Feb 4th and I am still showing in process on WMR. I checked my transcripts and only 2013 account transcript is show and has cycle code 20140805 . Has anyone received their refund that has this code?

I filed mine through their website and whenever I call it states that no return has been received for me, but when I log in, it shows that it has been processed. I’m not sure what is going on with them. Hope that helps.

Just called a tax advocate and they said im still being processed I do have a offset which I know about but she said that automatically gets taking out and don’t delay anything. She said give them the 21 one days to process the only advice she gave me was checking wmr everyday. So here goes being in limbo for another 2 weeks.. I got the code 1252 last year with the message of tax topic 152 and stating I would receive something in the mail and not to contact the irs until I did so. It ended up being a correspondence audit, over the EIC, which baffled me as all my prior returns the last few years have been pretty similar, but to give everyone a heads up I waited to receive the letter and it asked for documents to prove I was HOH such as bg&e bills, rent receipts, etc and to prove my children lived with my all year I had to get letters from their school and pediatrician on their letterheads (IRS was very specific about that)! I filed on 2/22, received irs letter 3/12, mailed documents certified on 3/31 and heard nothing back whatsoever and then out of nowhere my entire refund I was supposed to receive was direct deposited in my account at the end of July….yes the end of July!!! Needless to say I was happy to receive it but it was a huge headache and this year I have yet to file-I want to but nervous it will happen all over again, since I read stories about people having this happen to them for several consecutive years! Hope this info helps someone, I know last year this site was my saving grace while I was going through my tax refund hell! Best luck to you all!

I filed 1/31 and approved 2/1. As of today, 2/20, WMR still shows “processing”. Haven’t had any bars showing for days. I was able to access tax transcripts with cycle date: 20140705. Any idea what that could mean? There are no codes other than “tax topic 152” which just talks about refunds. Very frustrated.

I am so confused because early filers are having a problem and I think there trying to catch up with them that we are getting pushed back as well I heard there is another big update for weekly people Friday. Sbbt has my refund to send to my bank for ddd of 2-20. I had an offset but my refund cover it. Never showed on my transcripts but wmr had tt203 and full amount to be deposited. Glad to finally get it over with. Already anticipating next years refund. Hahaha good luck ppl!

I finally started working again and filed this year as HOH with 3 dependents. My ex has claimed the boys up until this year since I wasn’t working. However I have full custody and he has no rights to claim them this year since hes provided no support whatsoever. My wmr hasn’t moved since it was filed except to add tax topic 152 last night. Can you tell me when to expect it to be approved and when I can get a DDD?

I have a ddd for 2/21… Which is crazy cause I see my post in this forum from last year and I had a ddd 2/22 and I got it 3 days early! Hopefully it’s a trend. And it’s coming to my Netspend card no fees.

Ok so on my transcripts it has an 846 Refund issued date of 03-03-2014 And a 150 code of 20140705 cycle number. Does this mean I will get my refund. the 849 code reflects full refund amount but the 150 code reads 0.00?!?!?!? I am so confuses!!!

Did you check your transcripts? Usually they will tell you. It took mine a couple days to update to “refund applied to debts” and my WMR didn’t update to the adjusted amount until my DDD. Also my myeddebt.com STILL hasnt updated with the amount they took from my refund.

Does anyone know if WMR reflects the adjusted amount for the offset? Mine still has a DDD and the full amount of the return?!? The offset number says all my refund to be taken for student loans. Would they take what is past due or the full amount of the loans. Also when i got to http://www.myeddebt.com it can’t find any of my inf for being past due or defaulted. (specific government student loan site) HELP I needed my return to move home and don’t want to be homeless.

i seen the date march 3 2014 as of on my transcript but it says that they dont have my 2013 returns record. but on wmr its say recieved processing i think accpted 2/5 but still processing but i filed 2/27 or 2/28 on the bottom of wmr i did see topic 152.
