So does the it’s do deposits every day or just once a week? I filed 2/9 and was accepted 2/9 8pm showing tax topic 152 with 1 bar. But if people that filed 2/6 got deposit dates of 2/13 can we kinda sorta think an expected deposit date for us 2/9’ers would be 2/16th pending a clean transaction? Hmm and what good is ordering transcripts and where do u order transcripts at? Thanks for the input guys!

filed 3rd irs said they accepted on the 5th bars went missing on the 7th called and they said it was not going to process b/c of identity theft. so i answered all ?’s and verified and they put me bk in processing but still have no bars but have amount with no 152 topic code

I just don’t understand… No where else would you go get in line and be moved to the back. Yet while your on your way to the back the line keeps growing!..

This drives me crazy and I just hope it’s that! So we stand the chance of getting refunds this month!

Usually if its a holiday that falls on a monday or tuesday, they send the dd on friday to your banks/credit unions and depending on your financial institution, they will post it saturday. I have wells fargo and a credit union, and if my paydays that fall on a monday, or a holiday thats on a monday, i get paid the saturday before.

Hope this helps, i also have a ddd of 2/17 so I’m hoping to have it by 2/14. Last year I received my refund 3 days early. (ddd 2/10 but received 2/7)

I don’t know if I should be worried or not. I filed with TT on 2/6 and was accepted shortly thereafter. I think after 11:00 am. WMR shows 1 bar, WMR automated phone line says received and processing. My transcripts aren’t available, no offsets. Any insight? Am I just overly anxious?

I have to disagree, the as of date means nothing. It has no bearing on your refund.

Bart, thanks for all the knowledge. I have a question though. I called and they said my refund is on hold because of a possible identity flag on my 2011 return. Why would that hold it up now and not past years since? Does it sound legit or is that their way of telling me to pound sand?

My bars have gone missing for the past few years this is not a computer glitch; it’s that I always File during one of the busiest filing windows and I’ve been resequenced again. This happens because the irs can’t handle all the tax returns In the system so they process them in a sequence order. Some years I’ve gotten my taxes in two week some years it been close to the 21 days. The irs won’t tell you the truth about the re-sequencing because the tax payers will be pissed and rightly so. Think about it, if we were all under review like all of these urban tells are suggesting then why in a year of Hugh budget cuts would they review so many people. You can’t order transcripts because its not processed; most of us can order a account transcript and you can get that right after your bar dissappear . So the bottom line is we will get our refund when our turn comes up and no amount of calling and wasting your time on hold is going to change that. So for a peace of mind I’m focusing on getting my state back after the fraud fiascial( ga decided to make everyone verify their refund) I’ve decided to let the chips fall where they may with my federal. I’m just sick of it all and if I keep this up I will be ready to pull my hair out.

No deposit as of yet into my checking account. I bank with Fifth Third Bank. We (my husband and I) have a DDD of 2/13. Also doesn’t show anything pending. It’s 10:32pm here in Missouri. I am kind of worried that it won’t be deposited at all because my husband’s name isn’t on my checking account so I’m not 100% sure they’ll allow the deposit at all. Blondy then you will be ok errors are a lot quicker to fix u should have a ddd sooner than later. errors can be anything small that they correct that doesnt effect the amount you get back such as forgetting to have a 0 where a 0 belongs and yes tax softwares do make those mistakes

Amberb you cant always believe what you read not everyone is getting 6-8 weeks and it all depends on what you filed and what they are looking at

Dave yes anything to do with the health care act sucks this year and is causing a delay

JD the math error can take up to 14 days in that department so u have to be a little more patient

Watnecorp math errors arnt just added its placing 0 where 0 belong as well as stupid as this sounds sometimes the software misses it or doesnt transmit that 0

No update yet on emerald card but last year it showed up around midnight or 1 am.. i remember waking up to check it!.I’m in California. Fingers crossed ! Ddd 2/13 we filed through turbo tax just used emerald card so we didn’t have to use netspend or whatever cards they send out cuz they have terrible customer service..hah. good luck everyone :D cant see pending anything and usually don’t idk why.

Last year I forgot a w2 at the begging of January this year I got a letter about it. They made me sign and agree to the terms. I now feel like it is affecting me this year although it didn’t at all last year and it was 2,000 w2. I filed on the 4th and haven’t had any progress or ddd given. Even tho ppl who filed after me have already gotten theirs.

Last year my tax preparer messed up on my ssn I did not notice it till weeks had passed and I had decided to look over my return. The irs did not fix this mistake. I had to do so myself. Hope this help.

I filed on 1/30 and under fed withheld I accidentally added an extra number. I didn’t discover the error until I went over my refund several times due to no bars/still processing message on WMR. My question is: since I made that mistake, does the IRS usually fix those errors or will I have to amend?? Since it was an error in which the IRS has the information I figured they will fix it but I’m probably wrong. They must be doing something with it because I have had this message since 2/3: Refund is still processing. A DD date with be given when available.
I’m a nervous wreck here! Any help/advice would be great!

Filed 02/07 accepted a few mins later waited a couple days and checked wmr and it had one bar. Checked this morning and I had 2 bars . I am using the PayPal prepaid card for my deposit. I have a DDD for 02/07 but I have seen people who have gotten there’s as early as yesterday. Gah wish I was that lucky…

Hey bart i Filed and accepted 1/20 transcripts have zero’s with n/a on other two. Called irs and tax advocate. I was told systemic error, and my info was sent to error resolution dept. I asked if I was under review they said no. I also asked if I would receive a letter and said no. I also asked what error was and neither could tell me. Bart enlighten me please! What is going on?

I’ve filed IS 3 times, in 2010, 2011 and this year. One took months, one took less than 10 days and this year… I don’t know yet. I posted about calling yesterday, my post is on the IS forum but basically I was told that my return and IS form have been processed but refund has not been released and no date set for a release.
I filed and was accepted 1/28, have a receive date of 2/2.
I would plan on the 11 weeks and hope for a nice surprise.

I called in today if your status on WMR is saying ” We cannot provide any information about your return then you have to call the ID theft number @ 1-800-830-5084, the wait was long though about 1 hour long. But they ask you a series of questions like refund amount, ssn, address, name, dob, fathers name, prior years return of income w-2,1099-misc., and the sort. she said i wsput back into the processing files and will take 6 weeks but WMR still has not changed though.

Most of the prepaid cards will load up to $10,000. These cards usually get loaded between 3 a.m amd 6 a.m. Good luck guys!

I had this issue last year along with thousands of other people. We had all filed early and had a ddd of 2/6 and when 2/6 hit we had no money and instead our wmr changed from refund sent to code 1121 And our transcripts changed from 846 to 841, refund cancelled. Some of use had to wait anywhere from 3 weeks to a couple months to get our money. Others still haven’t seen anything. If you have Facebook check out the group “1121”. It was formed last year when it happened And was very helpful. Good luck to you all who have this code.

No my WMR never said anything no tracking what so ever Only number I called was to check for offset and it said no offsets for your refund set to be deposited 2/11. I think pretty sure Number is 8003403071. Good luck

@charlie My WMR never had any info said check back after receiving irs accepted email. Never got an email. I called the number for top opfor offset and it said no offsets for your refund set for deposit on 2/11 I think off top my head # was 8003043071.
