My fiance received a DDD for 3/9 this morning and he’s filing our 3 year old which he’s been doing for 3 years obviously and our daughter is 8 and I been filing her since she was born but still can’t figure out why I got chosen for IDV.
No update on transcripts, Now it’s just a waiting game for me….

Your account can update anytime. I think it depends on whether they do a lump update of a bunch of people or if they update your acct specifically.

03/02. My DD was 3/2 on WMR, my DD hit my Regions acct @ 6am, my WMR bars didn’t update to sent until the following morning.
It’s BS they haven’t deposited your $ yet, who do u bank with or did you use a prepaid card? Heard TT is having ALOT of issues with no depositing people’s funds on time.
My WMR did state IF funds weren’t DD by 3/7 to call my bank, ik it sux, but maybe wait till after 3/7 to really be concerned IF the $ doesn’t show up by the 3/7 date. Good 🤞

Anyone had experienced differed date for refund deposit on transcript and WMR? Ddd says 3/9 but WMR says 3/14 which one is it? Did Anyone previously have similar issue what was your deposit timeline? Thank you

Just a simple single taxpayer with -W_2 and some self employment income and itemized deductions

Early last Friday morning the as of date changed to 3/14 and then went back to 4/19. I know this shift happened to some others as well. I’m creating this thread to track whether that ‘ghost’ as of date is actually accurate!

Filed 2/4. Accepted 2/9. On 2/28 WMR updated to “still processing” message. Lost bars and lost TT152. Expected refund amount and Married Filing Joint and last for of SSN shows on the left hand side.

F/A 2/18/22, same job, kids, etc. Had unemployment income for the first time in my life. Woke up to 2 bars today, refund approved, HOORAY cause I need it. Have a small offset for state taxes so message says my refund will be reduced, etc and should be deposited by 3/14. Never had an offset before so I hope DD happens sooner???

So your 570 still have date for 2-28-2022? And you didn’t update? Not even another 570 with a different date what is your processing date. What’s ur cycle date . I hadsame dates and codes. So something should of been done either the system will automatically release the hold unless you need to do something like verification or a irs rep will stop the release and you get a whole new 570 code with a future date . It’s not that something new happened just need more time

It means they sent/are sending you a letter in the mail. Lots of people are getting them because they entered the wrong amount of stimulus or advance CTC, or because they need to verify identity. It doesn’t mean you’re not getting your refund, some saw a DDD a week later.

and I received my DD today around 1 PM.

I bank with chime.

I checked the IRS app 1 time and the bars never updated.

I claimed all the credits also.

I’m asking because I might be able to help an I might not be able to I could be wrong but I will answer with honest response. I’ve been reading irs manual asking questions and learning from my own experience. I know its mental waiting and just want honest answer about your own $$

I know not knowing is scary not getting answer that’s truthful is annoying. Not being in control of something that is important is all emotions together. So when did you actually file an accepted because if you filed b4 opening day you get resequenced more then likely. They have nowhere to put the returns so your put in something like backflow type of situation and then thrown back into pool of returns idk if I explained it right

Filed 1/25, accepted same day. Verified ID on 2nd and processing started on the 9th. First update to WMR was 2/17 to being processed. Last night was the first time my transcripts updated at all. TC 150 with cycle code 20220905. I was at a 3/7 date for weeks, I’m up to 3/21. TC 570 is posted but no notice or 971. Hoping for WMR tonight bc of weekly updates.

Yes that’s good. I know they say still being processed doesn’t mean anything but that’s not true it could mean few things. If it didn’t mean anything it wouldn’t have different messages on WMR if they all meant same thing that’s wasted programming and money. Now still processing doesn’t mean same thing for everyone. Your moving in right direction can u see transcript.

What’s your question and what is your info like any codes that cause concern when is ur cycle code, etc… I’ll try to help with what I’ve learned and know if not its ok and just know irs is 2 weeks behind on returns. And if you call your very lucky to get honest non script responses an you should play pick 3

My transcripts updated last night with a 826 offset and a 971 code (but I don’t see any letters). When I called the offset number I got nothing on my SSN & when I did “wheres my refund” it said:

How are people seeing cycle codes and other information when transcripts are still N/A? The only cycle codes I see are from last year. I filed 2-18-22 and I see nothing. WMR still says “We have received your tax return and it is being processed.” I’m wondering if I need to do something.

It looks like returns are being manually reviewed and they are taking the top stack! It’s like last in first out. So all the early returns are on the bottom of the stack! When you do the manual review, who cares about the date! Just pick the stack on the top and work your way down! Where is my refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!
