Transcripts update mid day usually. I’m living proof being able to order them doesn’t mean your done processing, but you might be.

I could order mine and found out today I have needed to ID verify since 2/14. My transcripts had no code that said anything about verify, review or a freeze. I just had the very basic codes and then no more codes. Its like they started processing my return and then I was flagged to ID verify and everything stopped processing.
I had to contact credit bureaus and add a fraud alert to my files a few months ago. I think this is why I have to ID verify.

I just found out I must ID verify. Got my letter dated 2/14 this evening when I got back in town.
I was wondering why the letter says you need your w2s if you are verifying over the phone? Isn’t all the info on your return? I ask because I moved and now am searching for my 2015 w2s and haven’t found them yet.

I want to verify asap so requesting copies might take a while. Did they ask specific questions found on the w2? Or do they have you fax this stuff in after the call?
        Thanks!

They have been on each previous Saturday, but I know they had extended hours due to the path. They seem to be getting through all returns w/o any issues with the return fairly quickly.
So, I’m not sure if they still have weekend reps to answer calls. I hope because I need to ID verify and am praying that dept is somehow open too.

Yes, I am very confused as well. I filed on 1/24 accepted a few minutes later. I have 5 kids, but one of my kids is grown so I did not file him.. I filed my 4 minor children. I filed the same kids as last year + my daughter who was born in March 2016.

In years past I did qualify for EIC and some years the Additional child tax credit. My income was low I worked waiting tables and attended school. This year is the first year I earned too much money to qualify for either of these credits. My schooling while taking me forever is finally starting to pay off.

I have to say since its just me and my kids I am actually proud to make it to this point. Now due to having 4 children and just barely missing the EIC income cut off I still did not owe any federal taxes and am getting everything I paid in all year back. However, last year my income was about 21K (salary) and barely anything was held out of my check all year, but my refund was $10,312!!!!!

So, when I hear people who earn 50K and have 3 kids and file head of household and don’t qualify for EIC I must say that I understand how it feels unfair. I earned under 50k with 4 kids and a 20 year old that needed help here and there and money was still tight. I am definitely better off than I was and the 10,312 helped us tremendously, but I tried to be smart with the money.

My bars went missing on the 30th. I was able to order transcripts with cycle date 20140404 no 846 code. Yesterday morning I got my 846 code and this morning WMR finally updated and gave me a DDD of 02/06th.

I am in the same boat.

My husband cycle code is 20150405 with 846 code and a DDD of 2/4

I have cycle code is 20150404 with NO 846 code and my bars are missing on WMR

Technically my cycle code was before my husbands, but for some reason his went through w/o any hold-ups, but not me.

I don’t have any bad codes just the regular codes with no 846 yet. I am really hoping for some sort of update on WMR, transcripts or something.

I am starting to really wish we went ahead and had funds DD to Netspend card this year!! After last year I swore I would not use them again though. We did get our refund 2 days sooner due to Netspend, but right when it was deposited they blocked our card and my husband had to answer these ID questions they find on your Lexis Nexis report. Well, Lexis Nexis has a bunch of random/wrong info on your report and if we had not known they had this wrong info we would have answered wrong and they would not have released those funds to us. Then the fees were SO crazy….but if we would have
used them we’d have his refund which is due on 02/04.

Ok… My husbands taxes were filed on 1/26 and his cycle date 20150405 and he has the 846 refund approved code and WMR is on 2nd bar.

We are having it deposited into regular bank account at USBANK. Husband called and they don’t see the federal refund as pending yet (this was around noon today). They said something about a $400 deposit coming in tonight that was dated for 1/30???? This doesn’t match federal or state refund.

Does anyone bank with USBANK and know if they can see pending deposits early or if we should expect it on 2/4?

@Jdubb — No I was just going by what my transcript says. My transcripts say my DDD should be tomorrow, but since I don’t have that 846 refund approved code I don’t think it will be there. Now in previous years I’ve gotten my deposit before WMR updated with a DDD. That happened all on the same day for us last year.

They must be updating or something. I checked my transcripts this morning about 10 am and I could get them, but nothing had changed on them. I just tried again at 2:45 and it is coming up an error due to maintenance.

Here is what has been going on with me:

I lost my bars on ‘WMR’ either Thurs or Fri.
Able to order transcripts on Fri and had all normal codes except NO 846 code yet. My cycle date is 04.

If refund ever gets approved I think the DDD would be Tuesday, so I am a bit worried it being Monday already. My husband and I filed separately and his cycle code was 05 with 846 code. His WMR says DDD 02/04 so we are just waiting it to hit US Bank account.

My son received his GA state refund today and he filed on 01/24 accepted on 01/24.
I filed and was accepted on 01/27 and when I try to check status with GA it doesn’t even recognize my information at all.
I filed a friend’s taxes on 01/26 and they are expecting a refund with South Carolina. They have received a DDD of 02/04.

I can’t figure out how to start a new topic to ask a question. I am hoping someone will read this and help me out. I am so stressed out right now I really want to cry!

I filed and was accepted on 1/27. I did have one bar on ‘WMR’ with tax topic 152. Today I checked ‘WMR’ and the entire bar area is missing. I just get the standard message about processing 21 days…. I read many post saying that is not a bad thing and I should expect progress soon ‘DDD’.

I decided to go ahead and try to order my return transcripts and was able to view them online. However, my refund amount has -XXXX.XX. Then I can’t remember the exact wording but I think it says my balance is 0.00!!!! How can I have a negative refund amount? Are they saying that I owed them this money and am receiving nothing? I don’t see how that could be possible.

I’m worried because for years I filed married filing joint. However, now I’m not married and have filed “HOH” with my children. Is it possible that my ex-husband owes some debt and my refund has been taken to cover his debt since I would also be liable if it were due to some unknown error on a prior years return? My federal refund amount is $7821.00 I do not owe any debt like this, but I don’t know about my ex’s financial situation is anymore. I am dying because I have 4 children with him and I support them 100% on my own.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! And I apologize for hijacking this thread.

Well, I said I’d update accordingly if/when anything changes for me. As of 3:00 PM ‘WMR” still has the exact same message for me ‘we have received your tax return and its processing. You should receive your refund within 21 days.’ Tax Topic 152.

Just about 30 minutes ago it DID let me order our return transcripts, so there is some sort of progress going on. Really hoping for a DDD to show on WMR when they next update.

Thanks! GA just accepted our return Tuesday. I just checked on the GA WMR site and it says ‘we’ve received your return and please allow us 6-8 weeks to process’ WTF??? I’m not sure if that’s a generic message they give everyone or if we will get reviewed as well. I wouldn’t be surprised since we did owe them and they put a lien against us in years past.

I KNOW they owe us money from last year. I’ve done the figuring and we owed them $368 out of the $1068 we put in. Well, they kept the difference AND they took the money from our federal return. I plan on having them show US how the kept this money AFTER we get our $819 they owe us this year. I don’t want to cause them any reason to hold the funds this year. We need every little penny we can get our family needs to get into a new place ASAP. We did not get as much federal back as we were thinking we’d get. We had a new baby in 2012 giving us 3 children. Family members who have 3 kids get back 9K and more each year, so I thought we would. NOPE… 5485.00. Our income did increase this year from last year, so it reduced our EIC a good bit. I know its better to make more income we were just kind of depending on that 9k…lol

Haven’t had GA to accept my return yet,but I’m wondering how things will go w/them this year. They aren’t the easiest to work with.

I wish you the best of luck with them. IF you end up owing them anything my advice is to pay them rather quickly. We did not and a debt of $700 increased to an extreme amount and then they took out a lien on us, which is now on our credit reports for several years. Its paid and all but getting it off your credit is damn near impossible and it cost us much more to obtain any loans or cc’s.

I do hope it doesn’t come to this for you and you get your refund. We had an offset where they took their money from our fed return last year, but our state return was processed first so they took all of that AND the FULL amount from our federal return. So we have now overpaid, but it looks like they just took that as a tip, because they won’t give it back to us. I don’t get it.
