WMR is up and still no bars for me. No topic either. My refund amount is still there though and all my transcripts can be viewed and ordered. Im cycle 20150405. What is going on?

@pooh pooh Mine is still showing on my transcripts, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t fallen off already. If the transcripts haven’t been updated yet, it would still show it until the update posts.

mine is over 10k. Just wondered! I had looked for a post but must of over looked it. Seems like the past 3 years, we always wait longer than everyone else. Last year, we were right at 21 days when we got our refund.

I don’t think so. A couple nights ago there were people here that got their DDD for Friday 1/30 and Monday 2/2 and their refunds were huge over 9k. We actually had a mini discussion about it.

I got my state on Friday…. I’ve never been so frustrated about my income taxes until now. I got things I need to do but can’t make any moves until I know when my money will be deposited. Just want to treat myself to some simple things…. Hell I think I deserve that after working two jobs. Lol. Smh boy I tell you.

I wonder if the amount of our refunds have something to do with how long it takes us to get our refund? I have friends that filed after I did and 2 of them will get there refunds deposited tomorrow. Both got much less than we did. I didn’t know if there was a “Magic” number that gets reviewed more? What’s everyone thoughts?

I also have a 2-4 DDD. I have to go through SBBT first then its sent to Netspend. I called SBBT today and they said there is nothing there for me yet because the IRS does not send them money on the weekends. Who thinks it will there there tomorrow? I know alot of 2/4’s got their money Friday night on their Netspend cards because they already paid their fees upfront, but if the irs sent monet out on Friday why wouldnt SBBT have ours? Im sure the irs didnt just skip that bank as some others already are pending with their regular banks as well. Come on SBBT!! I’m counting on it being there tomorrow.

I went through tax act my irs refund was accepted in the 13th in a test batch and has been stuck in processing since. I called irs to see if there was a glitch in the system the women yelled at me and told me to call back Feb 10th when it has been 21 days. But didn’t answer the question about the glitch. I normally file early with no problems but this has me kind of concerned. Has anyone else this problem or still having this problem?

I filed my state and federal return on 1/20/15 , this is the first time I have the state give me a date before the federal.
Last year my DD date for the State was 2/18/14 I received with Netspend at 4 p.m. on 2/13/14.

@illybeans I’m not sure how much sense that makes. According to Turbotax, 50% of the people who filed with them and were accepted on the same day I was have already gotten their money. That’s a little more than a handful :p

@jillybeans thanks so much for that I was getting worried and the horror stories you read about taking a year to get a refund and only getting a small portion of what you were expecting…. This makes me feel a lot better that processing is just beginning versus in limbo since the 20th

WMR is down (most likely) due to heavy traffic overloading the server(s). Happens every year at the end of January. That is when the IRS selects handfuls of efiled returns to “test” on. That also explains why some that have filed later are getting their DDD sooner. It is like a lottery, if you will. No returns are processed prior to the first day, even though they can be filed before that.

Only reason I know this is from working in a CPA firm for far too many years. Thank GOD I get to be a SAHM mom now and not deal with this crap on a daily basis :)

Moneybaby – your DD for 2/4 will not be less, you will have to file an amended return after you receive your DD. The IRS doesn’t likely have the forgotten w-2 yet.

Filed 1/25 late afternoon accepted within 15mins. Cant check WMR last time I checked yesterday there was no DDD and no transcripts showing for 2014. This is frustrating!!

You said wait 12 days due to backlog but isn’t the IRS supposed to accept or reject in 24-48 hours? Why are others that filed same day and days after being accepted? It’s been 5 days and I have no idea where my return is. Filed HRB online the 28th..all I can see is efile transmitted. IRS shows no information for me. Just don’t understand have had no changes this year and always accepted in a couple of hours. Don’t understand why HRB can’t resend the return. Can’t reach a live person at the IRS..wouldn’t be that worried if it at least showed the IRS received my return.

I got another w-2 “unexpected” with a weeks worth of pay from another job. Which means my refund will be $300 less than it should be. I am expected a DD on the 4th as well. Has anyone else ever experienced this? sigh…..

Aww please don’t take offense. I don’t mean to come off so frantic. lol. I do feel your pain. I went through it the year of the education credit debacle. So I know the deal of waiting and I’m not saying my plight is anywhere near those like you that have been waiting for three weeks. Still it’s just helpful to know if I’ve been approved. They can take their time sending the money, just let me know its gotten through and I can go about my business. To be honest that’s why I don’t usually file early because I noticed that early filers always get the shaft, and not in a good way. This year I waited five days after they started accepting returns to file even though I had my w2 since the first week in January. So I wasn’t rushing to the gates. But with all these other folks getting approved so fast after my filing date with no rhyme or reason I’m a very puzzled. If it wasn’t for that I would be like okay, just give it ten days as the pattern has gone before. I thought I had my ducks lined up, having my w2’s early for once and waiting a couple days. Most times I don’t file until early Feb or even March. I guess I was wrong and should have waited longer. Saved myself the agony.

@tswan20, basically no, you can use the ATM but they charge you $3.00 on top of what that bank charges you, plus $1.00 every time you swipe. I believe the limit is either $500 or $1000per day. Thats why I got rid of them

I have been watching this site like a hawk for updates, and figured it was finally time to ask some questions myself. I am one of the ones who filed and accepted 1/22/14 with cycle code 20150402 with tax code 570/896. My husband and I filed married filing joint, and we have two little girls. I have not heard anything from Indiana State or WMR, and its quite frustrating to see a lot of people already receiving their money when my CPA quoted me about ten business to receive my refund when we filed. But oh well… I’ll just hang out here with the other thousands in the same boat. A lot of people have been saying that WMR is down. I think this may be why. I just went to pull up my transcript and it says “No Return Filed” …I filed on the 19th, received notification that it was accepted on the 20th. I’m getting a bit concerned now. I used the same software for my mother in laws return a couple days after mine and she has already gotten her refund. Should I be worried that it isn’t acknowledging my return in the transcript? It shows it as accepted on WMR.

I am part of the healthcare penalty “crew” lol and my WMR updated yesterday morning with a DDD of 2/4 and I was able to order my transcripts via phone Friday evening because I had locked myself out of the online service so it is possible to have received an update over the weekend as I did. However as of today WMR is down but I see it’s down for alot of us.

Yes your transcript looks correct if your refund is $3,000

WMR is out of control, literally

If your tax preparer is claiming that they already received their fees, that would lead me to believe they have your funds, and should post them soon. However if they are just making a note that your owe them $285 in fees, than it may be a wait still. The IRS would release your full refund at once, they wouldn’t just pay your preparer fees, and hold the rest.

Has anyone updated since they received the Your tax return was received on blah blah date and is currently awaiting a routine review. Our examination has not yet been completed? I did call their refund hotline it says that they update weekly so I would assume if we received a message like this we would have another update in about a week? Gosh I hope.
