Apparently I had a tax debt from last year that they are taking out but they gave me the amount thats left on wmr and a deposit date (2/15). I used hr block had the fees taken out and no path or eitc. Using cashapp for direct deposit

Just here to say I have same DD as you. 2/15. Filed on 1/26. Mines updated Saturday morning like usual. Just much faster this year. Never got a return within 3 weeks. Usually more like 3 months.

No, the processing date is just the 21 day mark that they strive get get the return processes by. If you had EITC and early filed, then you will go beyond that day. That date will also change if it goes beyond 21 days.

I don’t know but I filed the 25, accepted the 26th. Simple return married filing joint, no Earned income credit, no child tax credit so not a pather. I can check transcripts but doesn’t help as they have been N/A still.
I get the basic message on WMR and not the “still processing” either. I will sure feel better when there is some movement.

You must have been in the test batch but there isn’t a way to know for sure except wait for that 846 code. In the past years I’ve seen my refund about 5 days before my actual DDD date. But of course that doesn’t apply to everyone. I use JH serve card.

Depends on who u bank with. Traditional banks…yes, it’ll come the 15th. Prepaid cards (Greendot, Bluebird, Serve, Chime, etc) you could see your deposit 2-5 days early.

Seems a lot of people are still waiting on their federal refund. I filed on 1/14, way earlier than most, and I’m still on 1 bar on WMR. Do you count the day you filed or the day the IRS started accepting returns? I’ve never had to wait this long in the past.

I filed for the working families credit directly on the wa(dot)gov site. I went to check my status but it still says that’s it’s not available. I applied for the refund and qualified for it on feb 2. The site says it should take two weeks to show as received in their system, but it doesn’t stop me from checking every day. 😂

Filed and accepted 1/23. Transcript was showing “as of 2-13” but now showing “as of 2-27” WMR bars disappeared along with tax topic 152. WMR now saying your return is still processing. Someone plz help if your going through the same situation

Filed on 01/17 accepted on 01/19; top transcripts sll are NA the 2 bottom ones show 2022 but no info, there is a as of date 02/20.
Return simple, no credits or PATH. WMR still has 1 bar and topic 152 but the message changed for:
“We aplogyse but your return processing has been delayed beyond the normal timeframe. You can continue to check here for the most up to date information regarding your refund. We understand your refund is very important and we are working to process your return as quickly as possible.”
Has anyone got this message? What could cause this delay? Does anyone know?

@Traci, @KD: Well. We can’t ALL be crazy, right? Lol. As I was puzzled by the indication that as a weekly, I would update on Friday since I am pretty sure that last year mine took place on Saturday, as well. Guess we shall just have to wait and see!

If a processing date is listed on your transcript as 2/13, does that mean it will deposit on that date? Side note, I bank with Current (similar to Chime) and they are supposed to be able to deposit early

Same here everything updated without an 846 code. There is another thread for 1/30 filers and I saw a couple of people also updated today. 1 had an 846 code and the other did not. I’m a weekly and I updated today.

I think maybe the path has something to do with it.
