Anybody else file with tt and have an update on sbbt, but still not showing funds? Wmr hasn’t moved since day one, still no transcripts, at this point I’m just worried something is wrong. Any other 2/6’s no receive an update or ddd this week?

I had filed my tax return in 1/21. I had a DDD of 1/30 on 1/29 I received the 1121 code. I had an additional w2 that came in afterwards that I forgot avout. Only a $400 addition. cab that be why I have a delay? I have read that it usually doesn’t affect your return and that you file an amended return after you received your money. When I spoke to the irs rep they never mentioned missising docs just that I was picked randomly for review. Please help.

Filed and accepted with TT 1/29. Finally could see transcripts 2/10. Gave me a code 846 and a cycle of 20150602. On 2/11 WMR updated to Approved and says will be mailed BY 2/18. Has anyone gotten their paper check sent out before the BY date this year?

So I filed on 1/21 one bar up until a week ago. I’ve called the Irs everyday at least once. Today I got the answer that seems legitimate, yet fishy. They said I was on hold because they were reviewing my 2011 return because of an identity theft flag. The fishy part…it was pulled on day 20. Does this seem right to anyone or is it happening to anyone else?

@Sabena31….Im having the same issue. I called and spoke to an agent earlier in the week to verify my info but every night around 10pm est, I get the message to call. When I spoke to the agent, she said my tefund was processed 2/2 but she couldn’t give me a deposit date. This is beyond frustrating but I can guarantee it wouldn’t take this long if we owed them. I think they are using this fraud crap as a way of stalling. I’ve never had to wait this long for a GA refund and they refuse to do anything unless it’s been 30 days. I filed and was accepted 1/29!!

It would be helpful to hopeful people if you could add a little more to your post. What do you know about filing “before 1-23” that we don’t – in your knowledge does that include 1-23 and if not what is the significance of that date please? (I realize cycles started on January 8 is how you came up with that cycle date for 2-13, and the 23rd was on a Friday) but it doesn’t explain much about what’s really going on – where are the transcripts, why are more than 21 days passing when in the past it has always been 10 or less. Do you have inside intel?

We appreciate anything you can tell us. And I’d suggest others take whatever is said on a forum with a grain of salt if it isn’t backed up by verifiable facts. More than 95% of what I’ve read on here (except from Bart D) has been dead wrong this time around. No offense Douglas, just looking for facts. Thanks!

I’ve been efiling since its inception and I’ve run into a lot of issues but anytime the irs.has given mea date, it was always thetre the day they gave me by 9am.this is the first year seen anything l lie this. I’ve come to the conclusion that they e just telling us what we want to hear and are dealing with us as the crap hits the fane

So,after reading about transcripts, transcript codes and processing dates, here’s my take on everything……

If my processing code is 20140603 which i’m assuming means 2014= year 06=week 03=day …now from what i read it has been said that if you add 4days on to the day then thats your DDD and keeping in mind that the irs is not doing any thing on the weekends those days are counted as business days….so my refund was processed/approved February 4, 2014 and if i add 4 BUSINESS days to that i get the DDD of February 10, 2014 (7 days after my return was accepted), but if i add 7( they say this for mailed checks) instead of 4 then i get the date of February 13, 2014(which is 10 days after acceptance or 2 business weeks ) and since i filed on January 27, 2014 my 21 days end on February 24, 2014 which shows up on my transcript as code 846… So im guessing my refund should be here on the 10th

Confirmed with the IRS that it was accepted on 2/9 even though WMR stated it was accepted on 2/6.

Still at 1 bar, no transcripts.

Spoke with IRS Identity department just to be on the safe side, and was told everything was ok.

To add further details on my return…accepted on 2/4 before 11am…1040 single…..one offset….using Netspend card (metabank) and not paying attention to transcripts. In years past, i had received my DDD by now. And my refund was deposited within 2 weeks of being accepted. Its possible we will receive a ddd by Saturday mornings update, and refunds deposited the beginning of next week…HOPEFULLY. I screwed up and am really counting on refund by 2/19 at latest. Fngers crossed. Lets keep each other 2/4 folks updated with changes please.

I just found out the card we use has a limit on how much can be loaded! I’d you load it with cash its only $2,500 but it says with dd you can load more but doesn’t say how much! So I’m stressed out BC our refund is way over $2,500!

Thanks Bart, I used turbo tax , so there shouldn’t be any math errors, and used turbo tx for years so I didn’t have to enter in ssn s again, what kind of errors could it be,?not specifically my error but what kind of errors in general?

Maybe it’s some sort glitch… because the irs won’t continue to try and deposit, it gets rejected and sent back and then they cut a check automatically. I was told is all computer generated. Perhaps u can tell the bank to stop it from trying to re deposit and send it back.

DDD for 2/13/2015 I used chase bank. In the past 5 years since I opened this account I can’t ever see it pending or anything until chase updates at 430am est time. They never release it until DDD so I’m not to stressed.

waynecorp prol a small error on return and error resolution is fixing it and then you will get a ddd
andrew yes it will update but not right away 2 days after usually

kmccann offsets will delay 1-4 days depending… just be a little more patient

You will probably have to amend the return and those can only be mailed (not 100%)

I called the treasury on Monday (2/9) and I was told that the IRS was still trying to deposit my refund into my account, even though I had already called and told them on the 5th that I entered the wrong account number. I called the IRS and they just say the process takes 4-6 weeks so I need to call back after that time! I called the Treasury again this morning and they still haven’t received a request to mail the check! Why I don’t know the bank said they rejected it 3 times on the 5th so I’m at a loss! All I can do know is hope that one day I will get my refund :(

Bart, I called irs today , I was accepted 2/2, The rep took ten minutes and came back confused. He said it was processing , but it says systym error* which he said hedidn’t know what that was, he said no letters have been sent and cant see the reason they are looking at the return closer any ideas. I efiled with turbo tax! No scripts and one bar! the system error flag confused him and me!

Help! Just found out I owed about 400 to IRS for 2011 tax return (401 cashout I didnt realize i had to file with) Ok stupid on my end but I owe it I owe it. Now I talked to the IRS today and according to the rep, as of today I was showing a 0 balance which means my taxes were offset to pay the debt. All fine and dandy, when will i get the rest of my refund? She couldn’t answer me. Can anyone else shed some light? I filed with HNR Block, direct deposit.

Filed & accepted 02/06 before 11am. Wmr updated to one bar 02/10. Called and talked to a tax advocate who told me my return was actually received on 02/09 meaning irs didnt start processing my return until then. No transcripts available as of today 02/12. Still @ one bar. Maybe I will get a DDD tonight ; (

Ok so my sister filed the same day i filed my husbands her state was accepted on turbo tax and i did his through taxact. his is still pending. did it on the 2nd of february. Now my dad’s we did his on the 20th of January and his is still pending also. Should I go through it again and see if i did something wrong or what??

Usually un post is something that they correct on their end and just delays a return 1-2 weeks a TA REALLY WONT BE ABLE to help you much

If you contact the treasury, they can tell you if the money had been sent back to the irs. My bank rejected the 6th (even tho they told me the 5th) treasury sent them to irs on 7th, the irs recieved them on the 9th. Now irs is saying their system says they havnt gotten them. Just waiting for the update I suppose. The irs rep I spoke to today was really friendly and said some people get theirs sooner than others, BUT the irs system updates big every weekend. So to check again Tuesday. Hope this helps yall

This is how I felt every morning checking for updates. Hang in there guys and gals. If you fear that you are being reviewed (highly unlikely) just call a tax advocate they can see everything.

It’s 4:02p here and still nothing, called my bank around 9a and they said they had not received it, as of yet. The gentleman also said that the federal returns were running slow this year. My DDD was yesterday and it seems like most of us still don’t have our returns… where’s my return needs to operate more like the usps tracking system and show more steps to the process, there would be much less confusion.

Went to WMR and got that it was also accepted 1/28
When I checked it on Monday 2/9 the WMR bar was gone and it just said “Your tax return is being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” which it still says today.

I received my state refund (Oregon) on 2/5

I have never had my refund take more than 10 days from when I filed. Nothing really different this year over last year except more interest paid on our mortgage since it was a full year vs just a few months.

Has any more 1/28er’s gotten their refund or in the same boat as I am?

I am considering increasing my allowances so as to not loan the IRS any more of my money interest free every year

My son decided to do his own taxes through Turbotax. He said he went through all the steps, added a W-2 and one 1099. Said that he didn’t claim any business expenses for the 1099….submitted, etc and then when he printed, he realized a huge error.

I have it as well. It’s a freeze code- could be for multiple things from what I am hearing. In my case, I need to verify my income, or so said the woman from the IRS a couple days ago. They’re now sending me a letter about it.

@Deveney… Our cycle code would have meant a DDD for yesterday if we weren’t frozen. The 2/23 date is our 21 day mark, from the date our returns were accepted.

I really have no clue what to expect at this point. I’ve filed IS twice before, the first time it took months, the second time it was less than 10 days before I had my refund. The agent I spoke to seemed just as confused as I am, he said it should be showing a 571 code as soon as IS was processed and approved or it should be tagged for further review with an additional 570 and it’s not. He couldn’t give me any idea about a time frame other than saying it could be up to 11 weeks but he did encourage me to start making noise after the 21 day mark if I still haven’t received anything.

txtax first what it shows is that you were re sequenced and then the next thing is you need codes on the account transcript to know whats going on.. if you are re sequenced thats what the hold up is…

amberborr no it depends on the under review sometimes they contact your employer to verify your income. or your school to verify that you go there and so on

Rae no you are not an early filer. but if there was a small error you could have been set back a cycle as they corrected it

Pikkin that happens sometimes but it really seems to me that you were rejected and they had to correct something,,, now that may trigger and under review if not then it would be 2-3 weeks

Wendy no transcripts will continue to update but wmr may not… if you are weekly wmr wont update till friday or wednesday
