So last year I made sure I got an email alert to the threads I commented on and I just followed certain threads that I thought had good info. I went through my emails from then and this is what I found,

My Best Friend just received notification that the IRS deposited at 9:45 pm. She filed on 1/16 and was accepted 1/20! They are coming! Now I just have to be patient for mine haha

So according to last year, A. people started seeing deposits BEFORE WMR updated and B. There was movement on Monday and Wednesday. C. The first DDD’s were 1/28-1/29
Personally, I had my refund on Thursday 1/29/15. I just don’t remember when I was approved.

North Carolina isn’t starting to process until January 28th.

In a statement from the Irs commissioner stated that ” Even with the new anti-fraud protections in place, the IRS says it expects to process nine out of 10 federal tax refunds within 21 days, including those who were accepted early.”
But in a report to Congress earlier this month, the National Taxpayer Advocate at the IRS said hundreds of thousands of taxpayers experienced “substantial delays” last year because the IRS computers mistakenly flagged their returns as potentially fraudulent. The concern is this could happen again this filing season.
So who really knows when we’ll get our refunds.
Ugh mine did the same thing! I don’t know what it means but it’s frustrating! Hoping my refund is still deposited in the next couple days.
FTB sent me my pin number. I was able to log-in and see that my return had been “received”. The tracker tool still says “unable to find”.
Filed 1/14/2016 accepted 1/20/2016. Filed with JH and they said mine was in a “bubble” and not to worry the irs recieved it.
I can’t remember what day exactly I went from received to approved on WMR but I remember my DDD was 1/29 and I use Netspend so I got it on 1/28 around 8pm. I remember because I was on my way to Las Vegas for my birthday.
Last year I filed on 1/21, was accepted the same day. Had my money a week later.
This year I filed on 1/18 I was accepted on 1/19 so I am hoping to have my money by the end of the week or next week.
Also, just know, it DOESN’T matter when you filed. 2 years ago I filed early on 1/15 and didn’t get my money till FEB 20th while people who filed way after me got theirs before me.
Last year same thing. I had mine before a lot of people who filed earlier than me.Just recieved an email saying i was approved early this morning. DDD 1/30/2016

deposit hit netspend 2/10/15 after TT/SBBT took their fees so had I paid out of pocket I probably would have had funds soonerThis is my countdown update. 4 days. Like I said early filers 2/6…… Thank you have a good day.

I called the Missouri Dept. of Rev just now and was told my refund is scheduled to be deposited tomorrow! Yay for progress!
I filed on 1/20/15 and got it 10 days later on 1/30/15. I was looking over my last few returns and it has been the same way every year, I file on the day it opens, get received confirmation and 10 days later I get my refund. Here is to hoping it is the same this year : )
Last year I filed and was accepted on the 20th.. Approved early morning of Wednesday the 28th .. And had my money the 29th on my net spend card
I was looking back on my last year refund and I show in received my DD on 2/6 and I was accepted early
I filed around midnight last night so, technically today. My fiance and both filed, both accepted within minutes, and both state returns have been accepted. Now it is just a waiting game. I hope it is like last year. Filed on the 20th last year and got my DD on 1/27. I didn’t even get accepted until 1/25 last year and no other updates on WMR. Here’s to a quick return!!
Anyone else get a DDD or get a refund with Indiana yet? When did you file and when did you see the DDD or get the refund. I filed last night around midnight, so technically today, and it is accepted and says that it is processing. I am just trying to figure out a time line. Thanks

I’m also in North Carolina and confused how you’re “state has hit”. North Carolina isn’t starting to process returns until Jan. 28th.Source:

On the KS refund checker it said my return was accepted and being processed but then the next day it went back to saying that my information wasn’t in the system yet. Should I be worried or is it just a glitch? Anyone else have this problem?
Wow… That is at least 6 people I know and 4 online that I have seen been put under “Manual Review”… When I called and talked to somebody he said to call back in 30 days… FML.
Ditto! I have tried calling and calling, I finally got through and then waited on hold for an hour but when the guy answered he kind of gave me the run around. Then told me that it didn’t pass the initial scan through the computer for whatever reason, or was pulled randomly for review, and that I have to wait until somebody physically looks at it. Once they do, they could either sign off on it right there, or they may require further information. Depending on what happens will determine how long it will take.. So I said “Ok. There isn’t much different with mine? Should I call back in a couple days?” and his response was “Well, you can call back anytime you’d like, but I would give it at least 30 days before you call back in. To give somebody time to look at it.”…. I was pretty pissed off at that point. To say the least.

I filed around the 13 of January last year. Got my money on the 29th, or 30th in my bank account.
Filed on the 23rd this year. Expecting to see my money by the end of this week, beginning of next week.
So last year I filed on 2/2. My cycle date was 20150503. Would I have the same cycle date this year? And if that is correct would my ddd be 2/2/2016? This year i filed 1/17 and accepted 1/19. Would that make me a weekly or a daily?
I have a ddd of by the 01/29, normally it would give an exact date but they must of changed the wording. Just glad it’s schedule to be deposited.
just checked my bank and my state return has hit. im in north carolina. im expecting federal to hit probably friday or monday. im sure everyone who filed early will start seeing dd’s friday or monday for sure. my state usually comes a few days before my federal so hang in there everybody.
Just for purposes of hope… I filed early morning on the first day last year 1/20/15. It took 8 days to have my check from Liberty Tax on 1/28/15. But the status never updated to the 2nd bar til after I was already driving my new car 2 days later. I hope for the same results this year as I filed on the 19th and it was received on irs website that afternoon. I used credit union this time for dd so hopefully it will come sooner like my paycheck does. I think we’ll have our money no later than Thursday this week. Fingers crossed.
Seems like the IRS is taking a while to update. if you have a DDD please reply with the date you filed, state and the date. Thanks!!!
I can’t recall the exact date I filed last year but I just checked my bank statement online and I had my money deposited on 2//4/15 which was a Wednesday.
If your from NY and you file early and for most of us on here if your state tax was not ready and still not ready you will have to wait until you file your state for your federal to continue to process. I did my state Saturday morning and waiting for them to accept it I did my federal on 1-15 and got accepted that day… Hope this help
Just went in this morning at 9:45 to get my taxes done at h&r block and federal was accepted at 10:35. No update on state so far. We will see.
I also filed 1/21 and was accepted within the hour.
Tax Act is who I use.

Brian- I use both the phone number and WMR site. You only get a few tries per day on the site so I like to call as well so I am not using up all my attempts for the day. You can call as many times as you want to without getting locked out.
Me either. But looking over my past returns I never get a deposit before mid to late February.
It may not update this year…we may just get a phone call saying dd have hit and checks are in.

Refund in bank 2/3My Ohio refund (while rather small) is always delayed. I noticed when I filed yesterday, I had to include my Drivers License number, issue and exp dates. I don’t think our federal return has any impact on our Ohio funds. Puzzling why mine is always delayed several weeks?

I was selected for a manual review last year, but not this year. As of this morning, I have this message: Your return was processed on 01/22/2016. Please allow 7 business days from the process date for the refund to be credited to your account. If the refund is not available after 7 business days, please check the refund status again for a release date.
Mellisa- mine doesn’t say invalid entry when I call. It did that to me a few days ago but not today
