H & R block deposits refunds into your bank from hr block bank if you had fees taken out of your return. If you paid fees up front or had no fees at all then the irs deposits straight to your bank.

@JROD. Your deposit will still show on the SBBT website. They are responsible for taking the prep fees out, if thats how you chose to pay them. Mine isnt showing yet either. I filed 1/20, ACCEPTED same day. APPROVED 1/28 with a DDD of 1/30, Just waiting on it to hit SBBT to remove the fees, then to hit my account.

Filed on Friday, January 23rd, federal was accepted January 23rd and state was accepted January 24th. I called my bank and my state (MD) refund was deposited this morning (Thursday) and shows a pending direct deposit for my federal refund for tomorrow (January 30). This is the FASTEST refund in all my years of paying taxes.

I use Netspend and have a DDD of 1/30. I still have not received my deposit. So not all Netspend card holders have gotten theirs. I’m hoping for tomorrow. SBTPG still says your refund has not been received.

It updated around 3:50 am EST for me with a n approval and DD 2/2/2015. I filed Sunday 1/25/15 @ 6 am, Accepted 1/25/15 @ 8:45 am. Waited 48hrs to view WMR, one bar, “21 days for return” and Code 152. No transcript information.

Hey Rushcard users,
I have had my tax refund placed on my rush card for the past three years and they have never posted it early, They can see the pending deposit but you will probably not get it until the DDD listed by the IRS. However Metabank took over the rush card process so they may do it like they do their netspend cards.. Lets be hopeful.

I found some more solid info, for no delay:

Our SPR (shared payment responsibility/Healthcare penalty) is the 896 (overpayment credit offset)
This is taken care of by a credit transfer from the debit side (debt) to the credit side (satisfied).
Credit transfers have rules.
7.All actions need to post in the same cycle to prevent the issuance of erroneous notices.
Use posting delay codes when inputting multiple actions such as:
-A credit transfer and tax adjustment. If both an adjustment and a transfer of credit into the module is needed, input a posting delay code of one cycle on the adjustment. In three weeks, the taxpayer receives a notice of adjustment with the correct module balance.
-Multiple credit transfers in and out of the same module

So like I said over in the transcripts group, unless you have other offsets going on, no delay!

2.NOREFP must be executed on the day the refund hold is set to expire (day 4 for Priority Refund Transcripts, Thursday for CP Notices 12, and 24). When CC NOREFP is initiated, the following table explains when the TC 846 and systemic TC 841 will be displayed: Note: For IDRS input, “day 4” for Priority Refund Transcripts begins at 6 pm local time on day 3 and ends at 6 pm local time on day 4; “Thursday” for CP Notices begins at 6 pm local time local time on Wednesday and ends at 10 pm Eastern time on Thursday.

So if they take no action, it falls off Thursday, refund gets released as scheduled.

The TC570 appearing because the amount of your T896 hasn’t been applied to your tax account yet. As in, on paper they have reduced your refund by but it hasn’t been applied to the actual debt yet.
TC570 (Freeze code) will be lifted when TC896 credit transfer posts to the account.
TC570 must be input with the credit transfer in order to hold the credit.
A TC 570 input as a separate transaction will not prevent refund or offset.
Layman terms – shouldn’t create any delay or refund. Look for a change sometime tomorrow since accounts just posted today. The credit has to take place and then you should see an 846 code.

–So let’s hope IRS will actually follow their book!!!

I hope your wrong. I have code 570 and 896. I filed with JH on 17th then accept on 20th been stuck on 1 bar on WMR since then. Got transcript tonight and had these lovely codes. I do believe it automatically releases based on a post earlier today by a mod or a regular (not sure which) but it was someone who is always posting with great info and I believe he was quoting from the IRS manual. I had not got my transcript when I read it earlier so I didn’t dig into it with my own brain but I do recall thinking that it made sense and that it was good news for whoever had those codes. It was a very detailed post and I would give anything to find it.

Not yet, but I believe deposits were sent out. Banks usually take longer to verify and do what they have to do before you actually see it in your account. Netspend refunds were sent yesterday even with the 1/30 ddd date. This is what leads me to believe our money is in transit. I am hoping for a Deposit into my account today the 29th.

I’m in that same category yall are…been following yall and anyone else I can find. Really sucks….I have searched high and low and haven’t seen any getting ddd or dd….I truly believe we will get ours though. The Treasury is the last link in refund chain….that 570 code is holding ours up. Once they place 571 code it should disappear and be replace by 846 then Treasury releases funds. I hope it automatically falls off. Surely it won’t be a person having to manually go in and change them because there are millions of us they would have to do that to. If I find anything new I will post here!

This is my first year getting a rather substantial refund because I preemptively had a much higher withholding taken out all of 2014 because of an (incorrect) assumption that during last calendar year I was going to receive some assets that were going to have a huge tax obligation (I didn’t want to have to sell them to cover the taxes). Well, I did not receive those assets in the 2014 calendar year which was unfortunate but the flip side is I am due a rather hefty refund.

This year (maybe not the brightest idea) I decided to ditch my Dad’s tax preparer and file using Turbo Tax. Other than the monster withholding, simple return with just an import of my Fidelity investing account info.

My gut tells me just to be patient, but does it seem like it is taking longer this year for refunds and website updates? I know there were massive budget cuts, however.

2 years ago I had a fraudulent return filed in my name. Big mess. I had to send in a paper return which I still haven’t gotten any info about. Last year I did not receive any money until May. In January I got a letter in the mail from the IRS ssaying I owed money from the fraud return. I went to the IRS office and got everything squared away. I filed this year on the 19th. I was accepted on the 20th and 2 days later my bar’s disappeared. I have no transcripts and no amount on WMR! Am I going to wait until May again this year? Does a missing amount definitely mean that the amount will change? I added a pin this year so does that make it go faster? Should I not count on a fast resolution? I still have TT 152. Is that good? Thank You in advance for answering. .

I can’t access my Transcripts, but I see the return amount, nothing went blank, no bars went blank during this time. I have no special things I claimed, just HOH with a QC. Is this normal? Just checked the WI wmr and it says my refund was intercepted to cover (garnishments? However you want to put it) which I knew and I should have it by 2/02 I’ll try updating in the am to confirm it hit my account (bank doesn’t update deposits until between 3-9am it’s a weird one)

And @Janjan the more I think about it I don’t quite get it fully either I mean I get the first numbers are the year then week then day but the more I do it in my head 0404 should mean today from everything I’ve read. I filed on January 18, accepted on 20th, and the money was put in our credit union after they closed this evening.
I did call them today once I saw that wmr said January 30 deposit date, they said they saw the ACH coming but it was dated 30th. I logged into our online account just an hour ago and the balance is already showing the deposit and it’s from taxes….so it went earlier than they thought.

if you are interested look at your deposit date on your account transcript by the 846 code and subract 14 days and it will tell you Feb 2nd
