Anyone know if no fees taken out means a day early…? And then does that mean a day earlier because of chime early deposit? Just wishing and hoping.

I never ran into this problem with free file. They do try to upsell but that’s any company.
As I said yesterday I expected mine to be here today. It just hit my Chime at 3:50 pm.

I just wanted to chime in.
I used Chime last year TT no fees. My wmr updated on Saturday the 23 to a DDD of the 27th. Received the deposit 5am Monday the 25th. That was last year.
So hopefully this year will be this week if not I’m thinking Monday again.
It depends on your bank. I use Chime so mine is fast and will be there by tomorrow.
I went to 0 this morning. I should have my deposit by tomorrow.
Maybe next year we can have a dark mode for this site.

Simple via BVA compass as well but they will settle day of. Varo needs assist BofA is recieving as well as Wa hovia, BlueBird, Emerald, Republic etc.Any Chime movements?

Chime has been great for me. I only use it at tax time because my traditional bank is slow.

As a parent on the other side of this. Just pay your child support. 1 they charge you interest so you’re paying more than you should. 2 the state takes a piece of every payment out for themselves so don’t think the other parent is getting the full 3000.

Last year I updated Saturday night/Sunday morning.
If I update tonight it’ll be in 40 minutes. Going by the last year’s time.Both of mine updated on Saturday night/Sunday morning last year.

This was on the IRS site “WMR on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go app will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22. So EITC /ACTC filers will not see an update to their refund status for several days after Feb. 15”
Hey at least there’s not a government shutdown. Not that it made a difference last year. They’re just slow in general.
If you’re on path it doesn’t matter what the tracker says. Those tax trackers just show a standard 21 day marker.

The site says maintenance update on Sunday. Cross your fingers we see progress before the holiday.
It was just a check. No other documents so no need to worry about as number.
Chime and NetSpend are the fastest. Like other people have said the hold up you might see is if you had fees taken out from your refund. Then it has to go to one more bank before Chime gets it but that usually only takes a few hours at most.
This should have been part of your court order for custody. There’s a question when you file that asks if that dependant lived there for 6 months or more and that’s probably what they’re looking at. However that doesn’t override a court order. It will delay your refund but if it’s on your court order you’ll be in the clear and they get flagged for fraud.
Last year I had my teens refund mailed and it came fast. However that was not path. Mail in general can vary by your area. I’d think they would be mailed out the 18th after the holiday. One thing I highly suggest is to register at the USPS website for informed delivery. The USPS will email you a copy of the scanned mail coming for that day. At least then you will know that morning when it will come.
You’ll want to file a amendment but I’d wait until after you get your current refund if you are getting one.
My numbers have been green for over a week. I’m thinking about 2 weeks before deposit.
If you haven’t received the path message yet, understand that’s why they set this date to allow them more time to do all the checks. You’ll probably see movements from your one bar in the coming days/weekend.

I wouldn’t plan on the 17th. That’s just TT standard 21 day mark.
