So…. this is a story all about how my refund got flipped and turned upside down, I’d like to take a min so sit right there….

I filed 1/24 using my last paystub from same job
2/4 WMR said delayed
3/9 60 day review letter
3/9 received 2 corrected w2’s
3/15 received 4 more corrected w2’s all for the same job!!
3/17 tried for a TA said I don’t qualify
4/1 tried again for a TA didn’t qualify
4/15 Tried yet again for a TA didn’t qualify
4/19 update on transcripts for 846 & WMR for 4/23

Same boat. Verbatim. Same processing date and all. Praying for an update soo

I received an email stating they received my return. Checked the site again and it is showing a credit to my account.

I checked WMR on the DOR site and it now says it is being processed. No amount shown still but ATLEAST it is recognizing that one was filed and it is being processed

Still here! No second letter. 60 day should be up 5/4. So just waiting no update. No TA. No hardship. Just waiting

@samantha I called today. And they said that an advocate put in a request to get my funds released last week. But they don’t have a date as of yet.

So I called the advocate office and they told me they don’t have a case for me. And that if they did I would still have to wait 60 days from date of the letter.

Called back the irs they told me that the examination I saw on my transcripts were frm the EIC. But I have an ADDITIONAL 60 day review for “random”

So now I am even more confused then when I started.

I got my transcripts via mail yesterday. I have:
420- exam of tax return – 2/16
971- notice issued – 2/19
421-closed examination of tax return- 3/1

How can they close the examination in March and it’s now April and still NOTHING not ONE UPDATE! At all!! I filed 1/31 and still processing!!!!!!!!

Oh I am soo sorry I forgot you were a first time filer. So you have to get a paper check. Not direct deposit. I am not sure about that. I am sorry for the wrong information

Yep. If you have a GTC acct yu can see the letter and get the code the next business day. Submit your w2’s online. Then call them 24 hrs after you submit. They will release your funds and then you should have funds within 48 hrs. Or ATLEAST a ddd. I know because I had to do it myself.

My fiancé never got any path message. Filed on 1/31 went to 1 bar and never moved. At all. Still waiting on some kind of update or something.

Everyone has approval letters, balances at 0 or just some kinda progress. While I filed 1/31. Got resequenced to 2/9 and still nothing but a green balance and 90 day message. Ughhh soo frustrating.

Ikr!! Me either! I was soo excited I just KNEW i was going to have me a little piece of change in my acct. lolz. Thank gudness i didn’t count my chickens before they hatched. Lolz

Ok. So my GTC says it ya a credit in green. But it also says that my refund will be avail in 90 BUSINESS DAYS?! I know 90 days is MAY! So are we talking July or August for a refund?!?

I got the same letter a whole month after I faxed in my stuff. Saying that they received my information on 4-4-17 and will get back to me by 6-18-17. So we just sit and wait and wait and wait.

2/2 received letter about 1095-a
2/3 Faxed over 1095-a
2/13 Transcripts made available
2/20 Transcript code 570 -More info needed
3/6 Called, was informed refund was released 2/27 & should be here 3/13
3/13 Called, was informed refund was never released. Agent released it on 3/13
3/18 Called, confirmed refund was released on 3/13
3/20 Transcripts updated with 846 code!!!
3/21 WMR updated with a DD of 3/25

So good luck everyone!! it took us the full 6 weeks to get this far. Now its time to see if it arrives on the 25th!!

**UPDATE** checked this morning FINALLY 846 on transcripts!!!!!!!!! this has been the longest tax season ever

@Sondra I think I speak for everyone here that it really does differ. I have seen some people who have gotten there’s back in two weeks, some in 4 weeks. For us we faxed his in over a month ago. They are still saying wait another month! So honestly noone knows

**UPDATE** so today his transcripts changed from having the last code of 570 to a 290 which means he owes back taxes. Now instead of 3-2-15 on the code 570 it says 3-23-15 next to the 290 code. But also has a cycle date of 20150905. But still no 846 code saying refund approved. No change on WMR. So again we still wait. This is officially the PITS!

Has anyone with the 3-2-15 next to the code 570 see any changes?? I have not seen anything. I am blaming it on maybe he is on a weekly schedule so it won’t update til Friday. So I guess I will have to wait and see.

The hold was supposed to come off yesterday. But nothing has updated on his transcripts yet. So I have no idea what anything means anymore

@trisha0711 Not yet. He has a 570 with a date of today next to it. So I am praying that something changes today, and he can get a 846 which means refund sent. Everyone at the IRS is still saying 4-6 weeks. So we are going to keep checking his transcripts to see if anything changes.

@Travanti CONGRATS!! im happy at least one of us has a ddd!! We called yesterday and got no where fast.. she said the number next to his 570 code was some kind of processing date, and to call back on monday. If nothing by then, then to wait another 4 weeks. :-(

**update** still have the same cycle code on transcripts.. 20150605 which would be today.. No DD on WMR.. but have code 570 on transcripts now. So i guess another hold.. UGH!!! We filed over a month ago!!! Faxed in the paper work 2 weeks ago. This sucks BAD!!

I have the same issue. 20150605 which should have been today but the 570 code nd 3/02/2015. So now its a waiting game which sucks.

***Update*** So this morning he was able to order his 2014 transcripts to have them mailed. He checked all week and they were unavailable. He couldn’t view them online because it kept saying the info was wrong. So I guess that means some kind of progress has been made. I am getting kind of excited now. I still have my fingers crossed.

@pugtor Thanks for the update.. we pretty much have the same thing. No bars.. no topic… just saying your refund is being processed. Tomorrow will be the 21 days for us. So its not looking good for that 21 days. Which sucks bad!! I am hoping to have some kind of update this Friday. I didn’t hear anything but just wishful thinking.

@Travanti i want to THANK YOU!! sooo much. Because without you we would have just sent in the 1095-a. We totally forgot about the other form. But thankfully we were able to resend everything again, with both forms today. So I am praying that it will all make it to his return.

@pugtor Yes I agree, TT dropped the ball. I am not even really upset about it anymore, because I used to always get my taxes done by HRB. Then they had the education credit delay, so I said I would use TT, and here we go TT dropped the ball this time. It just seems that no matter which company I use they seem to drop the ball some way shape or form when it comes to me. LOL. You have to laugh to keep from crying.

@pugtor I know that we used TT. And TT just asked us basic information about it, did not ask us to input any information at all. So I guess that is how we got screwed over. Which sucks major.

@deb75 I have heard that some people go through without the letter, and that some people don’t. If you know you forgot about it I would would fax it over just to be ahead of the game instead of waiting for a letter to arrive.
