If you notice, that article says nothing about 8863, which leads me to once again to think it is just someone taking the mid-Feb phrase and making up their own article.
If this were the case, we would be hearing the same thing from the MAJOR prep companies, not some obscure company I’ve never heard of.
I’m still showing processing w/the 21 day message on WMR & getting same info from the hotline…I don’t get this… so many others are getting DDD or their money…where’s mine!??! Ugh!
I think I tried twice. oh well. staying optimistic :) let’s hope we all wake up with at least a DDD.

Oh boy I tried ordering it 5 or 6 times throughout today. Today is the first day I ever tried to order it. I was optimistic until my status didn’t change last night.
After following this thread since I filed on 01/31 (accepted at 3am) and going through the WMR errors and then reappearing magically through out the following week, today was the day my bar finally jumped to the Refund Approved status with a scheduled DD date of Feb 8.
Thank you all for your updates, it kept me from wondering if i was the only one who kept disappearing from the IRS db.
Now lets see if the 8th DD does come through.I also filed hrb on 2-2-13 no updates on my taxes but processing ill let ya know when my status changes

Seems like im the only one on here (in the 01/31 accepted group) that got a refund date of 02/06. Mine was accepted 01/31 @ 2AM (H&R Block Online Free), and for some reason they gave me more money then what was on my return, so WMR and the 800 number never worked for me (until i got my return and put in the real numbers), but nevertheless, my refund was on my Walmart Moneycard at 3AM this morning (fiance got up to use the bathroom and checked).
Filed through TT also 2/1 accepted the same day 2 children,EIC,Child Tax Credit no update on WMR phone or Website and was getting the 21 day message with code 152 generic message but, now getting (We cannot provide any information about your refund. You must wait at least 24 hours after you get the acknowledgement e-mail that your tax return was received by the IRS) I am confused at his point.
I feel like I am going to crash my bank just stalking it even though I know it wont be there until tomorrow.
I’m hitting the double jackpot as my State is due tomorrow too!
I was a accepted on 1/31 after getting an error on the 30th. I had to file form 8862. Wmr, 800# and Irs2go wasn’t finding me until 2/5 3am pst which says its still being processed. I hope it gets approved tomorrow.
Still 1 bar 21 day processing message on WMR. Not sure what’s taking so long, nothing too complicated. MFJ, 1040, same address, same job(1 W-2), 1 dependant(our child), no education credit. We do have EIC, additional child credit and form 8880 saver’s credit. Hadn’t tried ordering transcripts until a few mins ago, and wasn’t able to so still processing. I did receive my va state refund today, so that was quick. Hope to see a dd date in the next few days. I’m going to try to stay away from wmr, as its stressing me out over nothing lol.

@Yanking… that seems like the best thing to do doesn’t it? Hopefully by then a DD date or even a deposit would show up by then. I’m feeling a bit defeated now having read that there are some people who filed 2/1 who have already received a DD date of 2/8. Frustrating. The IRS has things so backwards the last couple of years. It used to be “first come first served” now it’s if you’re lucky enough to be stuck in the queue that has the least amount of returns to process.

Accepted on the 27th still processing but I am thinking it is because of the $14k+ refund. I am just patiently waiting checking once a day.
my sister filed and was accepted 1/28th. wmr says return receive and still processing. she can’t order her return transcript online but she can order the account transcript. today, she received a 4464c letter telling her she is under review. same thing has happened to our cousin & our cousin’s friend. they filed & accepted the same day on 1/28th because they did it together on the friend’s computer that night. all 3 of them received a 4464c letter today. wmr shows the same thing for all 3 as well and the hotline…still processing.
I have given up getting a DD for this week. I will check back in a couple days. Perhaps the IRS will get there act together.
Congrats to those with DDD’s!!! I was a ghost again on WMR this morning but called the hotline and got the processing message. Hopefully will have a DD date by the end of the week. Seeing all of you with dates gives me hope!
Got my refund on Netspend about an hour ago from SBBT
I’m having fees taken out of mines so im hoping its quick and I still get it tomorrow.
Does SBBT update during the day or just once a day? Now that I know my date is 2/8 I just want to see when it posts to SBBT. Then I can track it to my bank.

Filed and accepted 1/31 within minutes of each other on 1/31. No dd yet. Can’t order transcripts. No EIC, MFJ, no education credits or any others except CTC which only reduced the taxes we owed. Used Taxslayer which we have used for the last 4 years. Same dependents. I am hoping to have a dd of 2/11 at the latest.
Hope this latest info is true. Almost refilled this week without 8863, but glad I didn’t now. Hopefully Turbo Tax begins transmitting our returns this week.
WMR says my DD date 2/7. Haven’t seen anything hit my Chase account yet… It would be a pleasant surprise to see my refund today! (mostly because it would stop me from checking every half hour)
Last year, my refund came a few days early and was deposited at 3am. I’d settle for 3am tomorrow morning ;D

The Internal Revenue Service plans a Feb. 14 start date for processing tax returns delayed by last month’s tax law changes. The IRS reminded taxpayers affected by the delay they can begin preparing their tax returns immediately because many software providers are ready now to accept these returns.
Beginning Feb. 14, the IRS will start processing both paper and e-filed returns claiming itemized deductions on Schedule A, the higher education tuition and fees deduction on Form 8917 and the educator expenses deduction. Based on filings last year, about nine million tax returns claimed any of these deductions on returns received by the IRS before Feb. 14.
People using e-file for these delayed forms can get a head start because many major software providers have announced they will accept these impacted returns immediately. The software providers will hold onto the returns and then electronically submit them after the IRS systems open on Feb. 14 for the delayed forms.
Taxpayers using commercial software can check with their providers for specific instructions. Those who use a paid tax preparer should check with their preparer, who also may be holding returns until the updates are complete.
Most other returns, including those claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), education tax credits, child tax credit and other popular tax breaks, can be filed as normal, immediately.
The IRS needed the extra time to update its systems to accommodate the tax law changes without disrupting other operations tied to the filing season. The delay followed the Dec. 17 enactment of the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010, which extended a number of expiring provisions including the state and local sales tax deduction, higher education tuition and fees deduction and educator expenses deduction.Now the million dollar question is since they started to process them we gonna get our money???????
Filed with Turbo Tax. Filed 2/1 @ 10:14am PST. Accepted exactly 1 hour later 11:14am PST. 1 W-2, 3 children, EIC, Child Tax Credit. No update on WMR phone or online, I am still getting the 21 day message. I also can not order transcripts.
So, I requested my transcript yesterday and I got updated to Dd 2/8 this morning. I had to call the hotline because I could not access the system, but apparently they are working at the IRS office.
I was told today that my return is in the Error Queue with the IRS. Any experience with this? She told me 3-4 but I’m sure if I were to call back I would get a different answer :(
I am beyond frustrated. I just keep seeing everyone get a DDD and I am stuck in processing everywhere I look: online, 800#, sbbt acct., there is NO MOVEMENT HAPPENING FOR ME AT ALL!!!!!!!!! I wanted the money this week for a little mini vacation next weekend, but SCREW IT. I don’t GAF anymore. I’m glad you people got your deposits even though you filed and were accepted days and days after me. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

I ended up entering one number wrong on the direct deposit account. Said it would be about a week to get my check in the mail. Awesome.

this is getting old! accepted 1/27 still processing and not able to order refund transcript.2/5 called Irs rep said nothing holding me up and should get update soon.
Was told today that they send refunds through twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon so there’s still hope for us yet. But I’m not getting my hopes up till tomorrow evening.
I called back because I was confused as to what to do because I didn’t get the “you will receive a letter” message and the rep told me that the reject that the previous rep was showing was from when I first filed on 1/30. I was confused about the 8885 credit and it was reject then, I fixed it and resubmitted on 1/31. She told me that my return was in the error queue, they just fix small mistakes and it should be corrected in 3-4 days, I filed with HrB so I’m not sure how I could have mistakes… So I guess I am still here in the 1/31 thread. So confused, I wish they would get their stuff together!
I filed through TT the evening of 1/31 and it was accepted within minutes. After days of no updates on WMR, and then getting the “Are you sure you entered your information correctly” message all day yesterday and earlier this morning, I just now checked WMR and APPROVED with DD date of 2/8. Glad I can stop checking the status!
SBBT sent my refund to Netspend at 9:30am ET but Netspend shows nothing. Netspend told me it could take 4 days to show. Hope not! Anyone else have Netspend that has recieved their money today?
^ that guy is wrong…Liberty tax is through JTH Financial services….call them
Live Customer Support (866)829-3278 – select option #2 and just tell them your info..they can tell you if they have recieved the money ahd if they have sent it to your bank yet or not…hope this helps
I would call and ask if there are any flags on your account you will be transferred to a different department who can pull this up. Did that this morning and found that we were placed under review :/ I was accepted on 01/24. Goodluck guys

WMR gives the generic 21 day messageBUT after reading the different forums and having friends that filed after me already get their taxes I decided to call. Took me 3 reps til I found out we were placed under review they didn’t state why other than it was for my protection. Like other people I claimed the Childcare Tax Credit and this is the only year that our return is different. My husband is still in the military but I worked 2 jobs and we moved so my kids went to 2 daycares. Was expecting a large amount upward of 15k. No offsets reported for either one of us and the rep I spoke to said they were mailing a letter but I don’t need to do anything and it can take up to 60 days…bleh! This has never ever happened and I’m a little nervous, scared and concerned. I will keep everyone posted.
Well hoping that tomorrow is the day we get some news the grapevine is that is when the next sytem update will be
WMR finally refreshed and let me in with no updates. Still processing and cannot order transcript.
I can’t even get my dang transcripts. I’ve been accepted & processing “according to H&R Block at home” since 1/30/13 at 11pm. Today is day 8’ish. No update from IRS. I talked to a man yesterday about it. He looked for a DD but said there was not one. He said they’ve had it, just still sitting. Weird thing about it is I got a text from H&R Block saying it was accepted on 2/2/13! The email was 4 days prior! I’m wondering if the text is when it actually got accepted and the email was false.
I called and spoke to a very nice rep who told me that my return was rejected due to an error with my name. Social Security never updated my name with the IRS when I got married. The rep told me to resubmit with my maiden name and it should be fine. I hope she is right, I wish that it would have rejected long ago though. Looks like I’m moving to the 2/6/12 thread. :(
Just got off the hotline with a Nathan, he looked into our return, and says it was accepted, although said he cannot provide me with a date when that was, and that it is still being processed, he couldn’t give me any further information.
I might try calling back again later today to see if I can find out any more information. He had no idea why the page on WMR has changed and has taken my information out for allowing me to follow it.
Can anyone explain to me what the Transcripts are and why people are requesting them? I tried requesting ours for the refund transcripts and it is not available to us.
Any one here bank with Chase? My DD is scheduled for tomorrow 02/07 but they don’t have any pending deposits showing. Is any one else in this situation or know how Chase operates when it comes to direct deposits?
Im lost, so many people i know filed Monday 2/4/13 and have been approved and received refunds. I filed 1/30/13 and in still being processed.i called to ask why i couldn’t check my status thru automated services and the first lady was rude and told me it hasn’t been 21 days so i need to wait. I called back and got another lady who was rude at first then became nice explaining to me that the system picks randomly and for me to check only once a day to keep the system from jamming.some people check several times a day and nothing has changed for them because the system only updates over night, those people are causing the system to back up. I then asked her why i couldn’t order my transcript and that i was told that if i couldn’t order them then something was wrong, she said that was not true. She then repeatedly that so many people are doing that and tattoo is jamming. So i guess im just left here with the system jammed and not know anything….ugh!
The website is working for me now. Shows a DD of 2/8!

Filed on 1/30 via HRB online, accepted the same day. Was able to see the processing bars on WMR up until this morning when I checked. Now, it seems, they have no record of me filing. Filed my ex husbands the same day, directly after mine and he has a DDD of 2/11. Not really understanding why he would have a DDD when I don’t have one? We’ve already received our DD from OK state. Just frustrating. Congrats to all of those who have already received their DD or have a date to receive it!
nm. i found where to do it but i got an error message saying there was a technical prob. i might try over the phone or just try a little more patience.

AGS – if you filed a joint return try using the other persons SS#. I was not able to pull up my information using my husbands’s social, but was able to get the information when I entered my social. I don’t know if matters any, but I was also able to order my transcript yesterday afternoon.
I still have no DD. Accepted on 2/1. Locked out of WMR and 800 number is the generic 21 days message.

I had to call the irs before i knew there was an issue. neither rep i spoke with said i was under review. they just say there’s an issue and my refund is on hold til 2/18.
good morning everyone just got an email @ 8:27 am from jackson hewitt my funds have been deposited to my netspend account for 2/7 but they say it can take anywhere from 48-72 hours for my bank to process. Hope it can be today. Hope everyone gets some good news.
I filed 1/31/13 and was accepted the same day. On monday when i tried to check my status i was told to call a phone number. I did that only for them to tell me they had no record of me filing and that i should check wmr once a week for any updates. Yesterday i decided to give ordering my transcripts a try since i need them for school anyways. I was able to order my transcripts and then this morning wmr wasn’t working so i called the refund hotline and got a dd of 02/08/13
Oh and i did call the irs and actually talk to somebody monday and the lady said they had no record of me filing and to check online once a week for updates
well, I have a little bit of hope…but i’m not going to hold my breath either.
I havent received a letter yet either but now wmr cant find my info
