I sat on hold for 3 hours got disconnected. Called back and finally got someone after another 45 minutes. They asked super basic questions from my 2022 return and some personal questions. Said I successfully verified and to wait 9 weeks. I know it never takes that long I’m just happy I’m back processing… the rep told me they have sent so many of the ID Verify letters out and it looks like it’s for no reason.. its real strange…

@Queennaj93-thank you for updating i called and was advised 180 day under wage review but i faxed over everything 2/13 and i checked my SSA account employer wages and they are loaded so I know they got them as well. The only thing i can think of is my lotto win and i sent them just what FL lottery office sent me as a W2G form and i am sure FL lottery submits all the money they took out for taxes.

Yes, amended my granddaughters return on 2/24/2024 to include an additional W-2 received. E-filed the amended return and was accepted by IRS the same day. IRS site “Where’s my Amended Return” indicates it was received 02/24/2024 and could take up to 16 weeks to process. As of today, 03/26/2024 no additional updates. I’ve amended her returns in previous years also. Generally speaking, it did take 16 weeks to complete processing and receive additional refund amount.

To date: NO deposit date. NO movement. Still stuck in the “we have received your return and are processing it”, or something like that.

It’s been 51 days and still NO movement; no letter; no nada.

WMR says delayed past the normal timeframe with nothing else. Spoke with several IRS agents (who are all no help) and they stated that they are scheduled to mail me a letter on 4/1 that states that I need to wait 60 days for review. She also stated that they are being told to tell people to wait 120 days instead of 60 because of the backlog. She said it could be July 30th till we see it! How annoying!!!! Anyone else file around the same time and have your DDD yet?

@angie sorry just seeing these. Yes I called the number on WMR and reference number 1242. She said my return isn’t even under review and she doesn’t know why it said that. She put me on hold and reversed the 810. So hoping my transcripts update this Friday

F/A TT on 02/17. A week later noticed the notification to verify tax return. No codes ever, marked no return filed. Requested letter twice from my side and once from hubby and finally received it today 03/25, dated 03/19. I successfully verified online and notifications have disappeared. We are 05. Hoping to see movement this week but hopefully by next. All we had to answer was our current agi, refund amount and last 4 of our direct deposit info.

I know its ridiculous honestly! They told me people who file early usually get flagged 1st because it could be fake. I’m not filing untill after Feb 15th everyone else I know who has already got their money back.

UPDATE: My letter to verify identity showed up on my informed delivery for Monday! They said I just need to verify over the phone! I will do that tomorrow, then we will see what happens on Friday on transcripts. Almost to tje end. The letter was mailed on the 8th of March.

The same boat as you I won on a lottery ticket this year they took 24 percent and everything else is the same and got hit with a 810 code 2/29/24 but verified 3/16 transcripts updated with processing 4/8/24 as of 4/8 and 806 4/15/24 … I didn’t get the 570 I got a 810

So the date next to my 571 code was 3/18 & unfortunately at least for us nothing changed. The as of date at the top was also 3/18 but no movement since the 571 code -.-

We had a 570 then 971. Two things happened, we verified our identity on 3/15 but then received a CP-05 dated for 3/18, which matched the date next to the 971 code. This week the same time receiving the CP-05 letter in the mail our tax transcript updated with the 571 code with a future date of 4/08. I’m assuming the review of our return was completed and the 570 code released. Wondering if the date next to the 571 code indicates about when the refund will be released? Did yours update yet?

By chance was it this number you called ? 1-800-829-0582, when asked for an extension, enter 362. Checked my WMR this morning and verify message went away and got topic 151 . The refund status says received but under review which is the 810 code. Did it advise you to mention ref 1242? Thanks you

Updateeeee ! Called today! They reversed my 810! Filed 1/24 ID Verified in person 02/28 with 5747c letter. Last week transcripts finally updated with credit codes and called today to get an update. They said my return wasn’t even under review and she reverse the 810. I’ll update again when I get a DDD. Sooo happy !

Just got off phone with them and was advised as of 3/7 they have my taxes and working on them filed 1/29 so what took so long but anyways rep stated they would be sending out a letter and they have 60 days from when they took over from 3/7 to send the letter out and as of today it still has not been generated to be sent out!!?? I checked online transcripts this morning, and still nothing. Still “N/A” in the top two boxes. The lower two have 2023 but nothing on them. It still says “No return filed”.
