if you are a father and live in Washington state, the Washington Working Families Credit applications opened today on the .gov site. we dont file state taxes, so we dont have our own thread under the state taxes section, but you can go apply online for the credit and potentially get a refund!

I got my acceptance email on march 2. I have a traditional bank and still no deposit.

I updated this morning to “DECISION ISSUED” so I will report back when I see the deposit in my account. It said it could take 10 days.

No movement, but I know last year it was mid march I think and I applied the day it opened.

Just updating all my Washington state people who are waiting on the Washington Working Families Credit refunds. Since we don’t have state taxes and can’t post there, thought I’d drop it here. Still no movement on my refund. Still says “APPLICATION RECEIVED” and just waiting on that to move to “APPLICATION APPROVED”. I literally applied on opening day within the first couple of hours.

Same @itsco, I think it came either march 2nd or march 22nd. I know it took quite a while for the reviewing of the application.

Mine still just says “application received” and hasn’t been processed yet. Last year was the first year they did this but even though I always file on the first when it opens, I don’t get that refund until after my federal refund. I was hoping this year would be faster, but it’s not looking that way.

Mine updated same day to “processed.” Not sure how long from there a DD will take. So far it has been two business days.

I meant if you are a PATHER. not father. basically, if you qualify for the EITC, you probably qualify for this credit.
