Filed 3/1. Code 20221105. Finally got confirmation that they were approved, but way less than what my tax pro quoted.
This is BS. . . I filed 2/1, accepted 2/3, then delay message on Feb 18th. . . . Been delayed ever since. . .. You filed a month after me, and you’ve already got an approval? That’s BS. . . C’MON IRS! And PLUS, I only filed a 1098-T. . Nothing else.

I’m not giving out my funded/DDD status, because it’s none of anyone’s business but my own.
Why is millions of people getting the “delayed” message, even know the majority of us know 100% we didn’t make any mistake on our taxes? For me, All i filed was a 1098-T form. . Nothing else, no ACTC, no EITC, i don’t owe anything or anyone, but I got delayed. . I filed 2/1, accepted on 2/3, and then WMR 1 bar, then delay message. I’m 20220705, with process day of 3-7-22 (yesterday)
I have the same..I am 20220805. Was suppose to get my 4g more than what the IRS said..it updated on Saturday..cause 0805 is weekly now I have an updated amount and a ddd by March 14, even though my transcript says March 9th.
I’m 20220705, i’m weekly. I have a process day of March 7, 2022 which is tomorrow. So hopefully, I’ll have some sort of update over night tonight. I’m not holding my breath.

I have the 20220705 Cycle, with Process date of March 7, 2022, even though I only filed a 1098-T form and nothing else. Filed on 2/1, IRS accepted on 2/3. . I should have had my money by now. I’ve never had to wait this long.

I’m one of those who didn’t claim the ACTC or EITC or anything else. . I know my return was 100% perfect.

I contacted a federal attorney who specializes in cases against the Government. I was told that the IRS is purposely holding on to refunds for as long as the law allows them to, because they get interest off of it.
After my bars disappeared (I’m guessing after processing) there was an update that my refund will be delayed longer than usual. :(

Doubtful. . IRS is playing games with us. They don’t want to give out money, so they are holding them on purpose. Yes, they are probably behind, but they could get more employees

What number do I call? I’ve been trying to call but I have been unsuccessful getting through due to extremely high call volume. It won’t even let me wait.
It’s not worth trying to call. Even if you try at 7am, you won’t get through. You’ll get a message saying that they are having high call volumes and are unable to take your call
You haven’t been fully processed yet. If your cycle code ends in 05, you could possibly update Friday. If it ends in any other numbers check every day for 846 code. Good luck!! Hope you get it soon!
I have 570 Code with Cycle 20220705 with a date of March 7, 2022. . . . I filed mine back on Feb 1, and IRS accepted on Feb 3rd. . Any years in the past, I would have had my refund by now. . . . .
Not true look I have this message and everyone who have this it means there was an error and they corrected it and it takes up to 8 weeks to send the refund out don’t believe me call them.
That’s not true either. . . I have the same message and I filed ONLY a 1098-T (Tuition). . . NOTHING ELSE. . . I don’t claim EITC, or Child Tax Credit, etc. . .. The reason there are delays is because they are backlogged from last year as well.
And the thing is, I didn’t have EITC or ACTC or anything. All i had was a 1098-T Form. That’s it

ID Verified people don’t get back fast. I filed mine on 2/1, IRS accepted on 2/3, ID Verified on 2/4 and i’m still in “DELAY”.
All I filed was a 1098-T (Tuition). . Nothing else. . . No EITC, no ACTC, no W2. . . . Filed it on 2/1, IRS accepted on 2/3. . . I’m now in a delay for whatever reason.

You might end up getting the delayed message. I hope not of course, but the IRS is backlogged from last year.
Is the “DELAY” normal? Could the delay be that the IRS really is back logged that much? Surely all of us here that have the delay message isn’t having our taxes reviewed longer. It’s ridiculous! I have never had trouble with getting my refund. I’ve never had the delay message until this year.

The 846 number is your deposit date at the very bottom! It will have the amount and date of when you are getting your refund and the long number ending in 5 is your cycle number meaning you get updates like me on Saturdays instead of through the week !
I thought 05 was Thursdays? Mine is 20220705 and I read that those are Thursdays
2022 is the year 07 means the 7th week, and 05 means the 5th day. . . 20220705 translates to February 17, 2022
