Rachel yes it could show the check being sent but sometimes there is a glitch in wmr u have to just wait at lease 5 days from the 23rd to see
uhrefund yes its auto generated and processed to be mailed regardless of u doing It. they have to still send the letter they were suppose to send you
Kelley no once they correct the error they will release the return into processing. and yes there seems to be a glitch in certain forms from the tax software on some returns.. 30 days to fix the error seems a lot usually once the return is rejected and goes in to errors resolution department it takes 14 days then re processing

speed I would call ur either under review have id verify or you are in errors u need to find out whats going on
blessed ur under review they are verifying something and u have to wait till either they release it or they want something from u

wally yeah its an issue with ur retun either and error or under review I would call again and see and also try mailing your transcripts by the transcript hotline
ICH yes that is def an issue the HCA screwed a lot of things up and about 3 weeks u will prolly have your refund before that actually goes through
filler2014 its going to be after that date… your transcripts show that a letter was sent and a date they still have to send the letter…… even if u verified and its about 3 weeks after id verify at this point for a 570 update

WMR bars disappeared 2/24
No transcripts availableI called the IRS today after only about a 7 minute wait…the rep was really nice, but basically just told me my refund is still processing and to call back Friday.

I’m at 35 days since being accepted. No letters, no bars, got my state refund. And now I can’t even get ahold of the irs. Anyone else? Anyone hit a better number than the 829-1040?
Did either of you also get the 4464 letter in the mail?
@Travanti:its really irritating that we have to go through all this..I lost my job in January didn’t think this was going to happen and now this….did you call everyday after they told you you were under review she kept saying they might send me a letter…why would she say that…she basically told me we got your paperwork and now its being reviewed…smh…can we just get some good news…
For example, TC 420 indicates that the return has been referred to the examination or appeals division. It does not necessarily indicate an audit. TC 421 means that TC 420 was reversed.
I thought perhaps it meant the folks at the IRS were taking part in 420 and getting stoned, which could only work out well for us, sadly that is not what it means. Good luck!
Going on 4 weeks with the 570 code on transcript. I really hope it’s not going to take 11 weeks to get my money.
My friend has tax code 420 after receiving part of his refund on 02/19. The other part was held for examination of EIC. Anyone already been through this? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
I filed with HR Block and lost all bars and the generic message came up that my refund was being processed. I called and spoke to the IRS numerous times and after all the calls and frustration all I can say is that all we must do is wait. I went into the HR Block website and just realized that even on there it stated from the get go that I would not receive my refund from 5-7 weeks. It has said that all along and yet I though it was the generic disclaimer. From the beginning the system told me that it would take that long and I didn’t want to hear it I guess. Now I must wait until March 9th. I need to stop worrying and just let them process work itself out. Why is it so hard to just sit back and wait?
trisha0711 actually they told me that last week and I was upset that I was thinking that it would take an extra week but it all updated this week
Hey all, I filed Injured spouse this year. Filed 1/28, accepted same day. E-Filed the Injured Spouse form as well through Turbo-Tax. I’ve been able to see my transcripts since 2/6/2014. The only thing showing is

What gives? I’ve never filed this way before. I’m the only one who works in the household, so all income is mine. I have no offsets, only my wife.
Thoughts on if I should be optimistic on getting something happening soon?
@bltyler1 I have yet to see my transcripts update beyond 570 code with a 2/23 date.

I efiled IS with my return this year. So I’m just in a holding pattern.Hello all. I’m posting this to see if anyone else is experiencing anything similar, or on the off-chance that someone can offer solutions I have not tried. Sorry in advance for the tl;dr, but the story, she is a long one.
I filed married/joint through TurboTax, as I have done for several years without issue. I submitted my return on 2/2/15 and was accepted by the IRS the same day. I realized on 2/4 that I had made a mistake when entering my banking information so I contacted SBBT and because the IRS had not paid my refund yet, I was able to change my info on the sbtpg website with the help of a customer rep. I fixed the routing numbers and asked if there was anything else I needed to do, was told “Nope, you’re all set”.
A week or so later my bar progressed on WMR to “approved” with a DDD of 2/18 and a few days after that my bars were full (*choir voices singing “Hallelujah!”*).
The 18th came and went with no refund in my bank account so I attempted to log in to sbtpg.com to track my refund status. With the exception of the day I changed my routing number with the customer rep walking me through the steps, I have never been able to log in successfully and see my account information and I have tried from several computers, my phone, used different browsers and cleared my cache repeatedly. Instead, I get this message:
“Your RT account information is not available through our website please call customer service”
I called as directed and was told on 2/19 that I had to fax an account change form along with several other papers to SBBT. I really wish the first rep had mentioned this, as it would have saved me a lot of time and stress but he didn’t so…yeah.
I had my husband fax the requested items from work, and he did so at 1PM on 2/19. I called to see if my faxes were rec’d and the rep said that it was too soon to check and to login to the website (after I told her I cannot access my info that way) or to call back the following Wednesday if no refund showed up.I called back yesterday to check AGAIN if the faxes were rec’d and was told they were rec’d on Sunday (…really? 2 days after they were sent? Do most banks even operate on Sunday?) and to give them 72 hours to process the information.
I have seen others obtain transcripts of their returns as a means of gaining information so I figured it couldn’t hurt. I have tried to order transcripts but am unable to. When I try to login to IRS.gov I see a “technical difficulties” message. From several computers, several browsers, emptied cache….etc. When i try to call the IRS to get info I cannot even get automated help… instead I hear a message telling me they have too many callers to help me right now and to check the website for information. *sigh*
Have I completely broke the interwebs? How am I unable to obtain information from ANY source (except from WMR which has worked just fine) about my refund?
Any help or sympathy is greatly appreciated.
That is exactly what mine says. I filed on 2/13 was accepted on the 14th and on the 23rd around 3am is when my bars disappeared.
Please let me know when something changes with yours.

What is it saying when you check the status on WMR?
My aunt did my mothers taxes for her because she works for h&r block. My aunt mistakenly put in a wrong digit for my moms direct deposit. Even though the names on the accounts were different, they still released the funds into someone elses bank account almost 2 weeks ago. After a good 5 hours of talking to the bank and the irs, the funds were frozen and sent back to the irs. How long before she gets her money?

My bank rejected my direct deposit and the wheres my refund updated to check being sent by February 23rd. On Friday the 20th I lost all of my bars and now there is no date. My transcript says 846 refund issued does this mean they still sent the check on the 23rd? Will the wheres my refund update once the check is sent?Hey-

Several people are having similar issues but it’s hard to follow what answers are intended for them. In summary, this is what our tax situation looks like:
Filed and accepted: 1/25
WMR bars disappeared: 1/13
Spoke to first IRS agent who filed “inquiry” to corrections department on 1/18 (1 week ago today). This gentleman said that there was a system error code on our file and that the inquiry could go 30 days before we receive any sort of response. He said no correspondence has gone out to us and that the error was not on our return, but rather on their end of things.
Since then I have contacted the national taxpayers’ advocate service who started a case for us and said we should hear back from our local office by the end of the business day Monday. As of today, there are no 2014 transcripts available and no WMR bars.Do you have any information on this supposed glitch? What happens next after the corrections the department processes our return? Will we have another extended wait beyond that? These are all questions I asked the IRS rep and could not get a straight answer on. Please help!
@Travanti..when you called and called did they ever tell you that your paperwork was received and is being held for review…they told me that today.. The lady said that its not necessarily a bad thing but that it could just be that they are reviewing the info I sent in
Ohio we had to ID verify and now we have the 60 day processing message. So we will see how things work out.
Does injured spouse claim shown on transcript give any clue as to when refund will be distributed? Transcript finally updated 2/20 showing injured spouse was received back on 2/4.
Let’s update here: What date did WMR say the check was sent and when was it received? I’m sure most people that got theirs are no longer hanging around here but it would be nice to get an idea. Most that I’ve seen are getting it in 3-4 business days. My WMR says sent 2/23 so I’m expecting it Thurs or Friday.
well,i filed on the 2nd,rejected for ssn problem,refiled the next day 2/3 accepted,to this day no bars,i tried to get transcripts,got a thing to call the ipsu ,was told i was accepted on the 9th cuz i got resequenced ,so they told me i have a referal also,to remove a flag for possible identity theft and its been almost a week,so i have a couple more weeks for it to be “worked” they said,also said that ill either see an update this week or ill also have to wait 6-8 weeks,but form ive read and researched its usually 2 weeks,not the 6-8 weeks,thats just a generic script they read about time frames,just like the 21 day thing

I am on Day 24. No transcripts. generic message on WMR. Called and told that I have a referral in place. They said that will take 30 days and then I will receive my refund 6-8 weeks after that. I am at a loss for words.
Does anyone have experience with a referral and how long is actually takes?
THis sucks so freakin bad im glad its just a simple verification process instead of an actual identity theft where they bullshit you around all year and you dont get anything at all until the end of the year from what i hear…. what a disappointment when we wait all year for this to catch up and pay things off for broke people lol but oh well seems like it may only take a few more weeks so keep our heads up lol
Update for the 1/28 club:
HRB sent email around 1am last night notifying they were in receipt of my RAC.
It hit my bank (BB&T) as an ACH deposit around 5am. My DDD was 2/25. They flag approvals on Fridays to send out funds on Tuesday & your bank can hold the funds if they want but I would read up on your banks policies for the account type you may have to see what the individual stipulations are.My WMR bars still say Approved & almost always update LATE ( 1 x weekly on Wednesday night after deposits hit that morning apparently )
Don’t let the anticipation consume you. I waited about 28 days for my taxes this year [all the while being unemployed]…..better than the 2.5 months last year due to Education Credit glitch.

Has ANYONE who has filed injured spouse received a deposit yet? If so, did you mail it in after notice of offset? Did WMR ever update showing refund sent? Did transcript update to refund sent before it was received?
Should I be able to view my transcripts by now? I am just concerned because the where my refund bar has disappeared on the 2/23.

@Jessica you have to mail it to whatever irs return service center processes your return. If you efiled with hr block, tax act, etc you can ask them and they will tell you where to mail it. You can also Google it by typing your state and irs return service center. Two addresses will pop up one for making a payment and one without payment. You send it to the non payment center for your state.

I filed jan 20 got excepted was told I had to verify my id feb 4th an did so and It kicked back into processing how long will it take to get my money Ben waiting every since then with a cycle code of 20150506 on my transcript with 150 806 768 and 570 account action pending 03/02/2015 what’s going on???

I called the irs and was told that the reason for my delay was an internal error on their end. I’d verify even though didn’t need too verify…ever heard of this? F/A 2/9 one bar still topic 152
I got married last year and changed my last name.
When I called, they said they didn’t see any obvious errors and was probably related to the name change, but my return was still under review.
Anyone know how long this could take? I heard we can call and request an expedited review if we are under financial hardship, is this correct?
We were counting on our refund to pay our March bills, but they told us it could take another 6-8 weeks, well into April. So we really need our money just to buy food.
I have never had this before, the longest it has ever taken to receive a refund is 2 weeks.
Nothing on WMR but transcripts show an 846 for 20150803. Transcripts weren’t available until last night so I am assume font WMR is just stupid for now. Comes in a timely manner since I am moving across country the next day!

I filled Feb. 4th 2015. Today is my 21 day, but I tried getting my transcript and got a message to call them about Identity theft. I did, and after answering a few questions, they said nothing is wrong. They also mention that a lot of ppl are getting the same message due to some network addition to their site back on Dec 2014. As of today, I’m still waiting and no bars on WMR site. Just that “still been processed” message with no code. My refund amount is showing, though. Any thoughts???@shay I had the same issue. Received my letter on 2/2 and faxed papers in 2/3. Called everyday and got different answers but my transcripts finally updated the morning of 2/24 and I just received a DDD for 2/27 this morning on WMR.
I efiled through turbotax 2/1/2015 got accepted the same day was processing untill 2/19 then bars left tax topic 152 appeared and come to find out needed to Verify myself so i did that 2/23/15 was told i would see approved today the the 24th so i didnt and i called now they say 6-8wks …HELPPPPPP TA wont help
@Treestone. I mailed it in on 1/16. 4 days after I was accepted they received it on 1/20. It took 43 days in 2013. 63 days in 2014. And this year 36 days if I get check in mail tomorrow, 35 if I get it today. I count from the day they received the IS form not the day I was accepted.
I have complete return transcripts and account transcripts as well. I am really hoping this is all good news! On a weird note my Iowa taxes went from refund approved back to ‘we have received and are prosessing’ overnight lol. Heard they’ve been having some issues with turbotax.

i sure hope so.. because i got the same letter i two made about 20k with 2 kids one whom i jus had in june and the other is 11 i was thinking mayb they didnt think my daughter was mines but i can give them the time she came out me if the need me to lol.. im just hoping it doesnt take the whole 60 days because i really needed that..
