Your cycle date is the date your return posted to the master file. Any other year you would see your refund in about 10 to 20 days but this year is f’d up so who the heck knows when to expect your refund.
@Laura once you fax info to your TA it takes about 3 weeks to get your refund. Amend after you get your refund if at all possible.
@edgar thank you. There is another big update tomorrow with a ddd for the 10th. Maybe that will be your lucky day. April 15th is approaching quickly so I’m sure they gonna start handing out refunds to avoid paying interest.
Finally my transcripts update on Friday with my refund code and WMR updated on Saturday with a ddd of 4/3. Guess getting a TA does help. I am receiving my money 3 weeks from when I faxed get employers wages that were missing. Been a very long road considering I filed on 1/21 and it is now April. I will never be filing early again.
My 570 and 961 code finally reversed with a ddd for 4/3. I filed 1/21 with cycle code 20190605. Had to get a TA and fax missing wages. Still took about 3 weeks to update on WMR and transcripts with a refund code. I will no longer be an early filer. F that!
WMR finally updated with a ddd for 4/3. Cycle code 20190605 been filed since 1/21. Had to get a TA and fax over wages they claimed I had missing. Finally get my money in just a few more days. This has been the most stressful and depressing tax season. I will no longer be filing early.
Filed 1/21 and accepted 1/22. Received both 45 and 60 day review letters. Assigned a TA 3/12. Had to have previous employer fax a letter to my TA with my wages earned. Updated to ddd for 4/3 this morning.
Finally updated to a ddd for 4/03. Filed on 1/21. Had to get a TA guess she helped me even though she never answers the phone or calls me back. I needed this so badly. Praise God!

@Edgar I saw someone else saying the same thing on another forum and they finally called their local TA office and was assigned a TA because it had been so long since they filed. They didnt need a hardship but the National line told them to just wait it out.
Sounds like you have the same TA I have. It’s seriously impossible to talk to her. She doesnt answer the phone or return phone calls. I was given her supervisors info from the National hotline and she hasnt returned my call either.
@Confused who told you that if a TA expedites your refund you wouldn’t see an update?? I have a TA but she literally had spoken to me once. I called IRS the other day because I couldn’t get a hold of her and agent said my refund had been released and my ddd is tomorrow but my transcripts don’t have the refund code.

Everyone I hsd to call the IRS to find out I have a ddd for 3/26. My transcripts have not updated yet but I am also seeing A LOT of people will update with a ddd for 4/8. I know that’s a long time from now but it is coming. IRS is just waaay behind. I filed in January. And they also was given a 2 week extension so whenever your review started about 2 to 3 weeks later you will update with a deposit date.
@Dan if your as of date changed then it means you’re processing again. Something was holding it before and now it is processing. Probably be another 2 weeks or so before you see an update for a ddd
@kyo you’re welcome and yea if you just ID verified last week your scripts will probably update next week and you’re looking at ddd in April
@kyo good luck. That’s crazy that you don’t transcripts yet but I saw that a lot with a few people who had to ID verify they had blank transcripts forever then they had transcripts update and received a 570 code then like a week or 2 later ddd.
@kyo at the top of the page select home it takes you to another forum and that’s where I have gotten the most help and information. Maybe they can help you to once you explain your situation. And I hope you are looking at the account transcript because thats where all the codes and dates are. Hope you can get some guidance.

My as of date changed from 4/1 to 4/8 so I called IRS. Was told my refund has been released with ddd 3/26 but my transcripts hasn’t updated yet to reflect that info
Also the as of date is the date something needs to be done on your account and if it can’t be completed yet that date pushes out a week or two until the computer can process the action
My as of date changed from 4/1 to 4/8 this morning so I called IRS cause I filed in Jan and still waiting. I got a really nice agent that looked into my account and finally came back to say my refund has been released and I have a ddd for 3/26. My transcripts as of around 11 this morning doesn’t show the 846 code yet. But I’m also hearing a lot of people will update next week to a DDD for 4/8. So hold on its coming stay positive.
From what I can gather from other forums a lot of people will have ddd for 4/8!
If your as of date moves forward a week or two it means your return is being processed. That date always needs to be a future date.
@Ugh my guess is that next week you will see that as of date move again since its dated for Monday or you could see a ddd for next week
@edgar I’m sorry. Ive learned a lot from these forums but its odd to me that you don’t have a hold code of nothing. I wonder what’s causing it to not move.
@edgar. Something is wrong then. That date is suppose to be a future date. Your return has stalled and it is no longer processing. It is either wage review or ID verify something isnt allowing the computer to process it.
@edgar what is your as of date on your scripts???

@edgar ive been waiting since Jan. I was accepted on 1/22 and just been waiting and waiting. Sorry you cant get a TA thought you could get one if its been a really long time. Do you have a 971 code?? If so ive seen people update about 2 weeks after that date. My 971 date was dated 3/4 and I’m suppose to have ddd for the 26th.
@jasminejay I received 2 letters too saying the needed 45 days then 60 days but they needed nothing from me but I had to get a TA because my as of date stopped moving at one point. If you can see your transcripts it will give you more insight. Create an account on irs.gov and look at the account transcript. You want to see code 846 that’s the date your refund is set to deposit.

@jasminejay it’s the date something needs to be done by on your account as long as that date is moving forward you’re still processing. Mine shifted from 4/1 to 4/8 today too so I called IRS cause I’ve been waiting since Jan. Rep was able to tell me my refund was released and I have a ddd for the 26th. You may want to call because you could be getting a deposit next week. My transcripts still haven’t updated yet to show a ddd.
Called the IRS this morning and rep said my refund was released and my ddd was 3/26 but I don’t see that my transcripts have updated to reflect that info.
@Ashley that’s because you need to be looking at the account transcript not the return transcript. The return transcript is basically your return and what they have processed. You will not see any codes unless you’re looking at the account script
@ashley did you order the account transcript?? That is the one with the codes
@Sandelle it means something needs to be done on your account by that date and if it’s not the computer pushes out that date by a week or two so it isn’t forgotten about.
@Sandelle if you’re talking about your as of date is today then check your transcripts tomorrow to see if that as of date extends another week or 2.

@frustrated if your as of date is still 3/4 you have stopped processing for some reason. You need to call and find out why if theybwont tell you request a TA they can research further and see what the hold up is.
@maddie you are a weekly so today is your processing day and you will more than likely see some kind of update on your transcript tomorrow. If those update to a code 846 then on Sat you will update with a deposit date on Wmr. But everyone is so different and there is no rhyme or reason to any of this. I’ve been waiting since January.
@petra the as of date is the date something needs to be done on your account and if it doesn’t move then something is wrong. Since your as of date was Monday tomorrow you will see some kind of update on your transcript it might not be a ddd but the as of day could change and if it does extend out a week or 2 then something is wrong and you need to call.
@SteveD I hear ya me too. I’m same as you and my TA doesn’t return calls either. I’m irritated to say the least

@Meegan the first time they called me it was from like 813 area code but then she gave her direct number and it was a local number
@asheley I got it but i also read where it says the will deduct on 4/12. First time for this. No refund yet but I’ve got to pay the fees. Sucks!
No update but wasn’t really expecting one either big updates on transcripts are on Fridays all day.

@Mark going based off info from IRS your 45 day review won’t start until 3/18. It’s usually around a 2 week timeframe and u will update to a DDD. Let’s see if that is true because I’m due to update this week because my review started 3/4. I was assigned a TA last week but she has been zero help. Mine too was a wage verification and I filed on 1/21 and accepted on 1/22.
@dani I wish I couldn’t lol. It just makes me mad every time I check them and see the same damn stupid codes. Lol
No update for me been processing since 2/28 and accepted on 1/22 been waiting FOREVER with no end insight. TA has not helped me at all doesn’t even call back.
@dani same accepted date here too and no ddd yet either. I have a TA but might as well not cause she isn’t any help. And doesn’t call back with updated nothing. Even with hardship she said I had a 4 to 6 week wait on top of the time I’ve already waited.
No update and no call back from TA after submitting missing W2 last week. Seriously just have to wait until they ready to give us our money
@david is this not considered Wednesday morning?? Do they update until a certain time?
@Ali no that’s the last day of the “tax season”. You are looking and waiting for code 846. That’s the refund code and means you’re completely done and deposit or check is on the way.
