I spoke with someone last week and she said it’s because I didn’t log all of my income. It’s been reduced and to receive it could take UP TO 120 days(I doubt it will take that long but I think they just have to tell us so we’re not calling so much) I update Thursday nights so we shall see, last Thursday it just updated my as of date from 3/07 to 3/14

My as of date started as 2/28. On 2/18 (Friday) it changed to 3/7, then on the 25th (Friday) it was 3/14. I got a wild hair tonight and checked transcripts and I have a midweek update back to 3/7? Anyone else? Is this anything good to hope for or more garbagio?

Also, I thought I was a weekly because I was updating Fridays only, but it’s Wednesday and something has changed. Am I totally wrong about what cycle I’m on?

Most people are having to do Id verify with codes 570/971 if you haven’t received code 571 meaning errors fixed!

Most likely if you been resequenced to a different as of date. I found that out when I called the tax advocate and they explained to me what happened, the date they told me it was corrected was the day my as of date changed to a later date.

Hopefully Friday mine will update since I am a weekly. My 2021 tax summary did update and my account doesn’t say that my 2021 tax return isn’t processed anymore! So maybe that’s a good sign..I don’t know I just need my funds thank youuu IRS lol

I got a 570 code on 2/3/22 never got a 971 letter issue code, but I got a letter to verify my withholdings. Same thing happened last year I filed in March and didn’t get my refund until October and I never even verified my withholdings.

I got my refund today But I am here to help, Filed 1/15 accepted 1/19, delayed message 2/5, As of date changed ( this means there was an error and it was fixed so you are sequenced) They corrected my error on 2/9, from there I got my refund 3/2.

Ky return says a refund check was authorized and will be mailed within 10 days but I have turbo tax and everything should be direct deposit no other messages and nothing mailed either. Took identity quiz and passed. First time filing in KY can someone help? I had a couple people tell me that “10 days” means direct deposit and KY can mess things up like that!!! Please help! I see alot of people saying their refund got reduced. They actually increased mine. HR block said I was getting $3300 and I checked my transcripts and it says I’m getting $4,800. I have the codes 766,768 and 570 on my transcripts. I think I have 970 too

How are people suppose to help? Serious question. I’ve seen the same posts still stuck on processing multiple times. I’m in that boat but aside from calling and various answers not much can be done. Those with DDs either had no issues, no ctc/eitc/actc or got lucky. My transcripts are there, they have 570/970 codes and they adjusted my refund (lowered) due to my lack of claiming the advanced CTC.

@rm I got a letter after the initial letter of “review” that stated that they needed to verify my income to send them my w2 again and my end of the year paystubs. I fax them immediately, waited a few days & called to verify they had been received, was told no. At least not at that point. So they gave me an email to send them to, which I got a auto no reply response from with the name QRDT. Googled this, it’s the “questionable return dept”.

Still being processed message showing for 4 weeks now. Transcripts N/A. Not sure what’s going on this year. Every other year I’ve been a weekly so hoping I see an update this Friday on my transcripts to give me some hope that they’re doing something with my return

I don’t think trying to call them would do any help. The agents answering the phone would tell you to just wait and check WMR daily and that they need X amount of weeks to process. In my case, they told me to wait another 10 weeks and not 10 weeks overall from my original e-file date which was in January!

I have a 570 code since 2/10. I got a letter 2/12, I have never had code 971.

This sucks. And I didn’t see anything concerning the rebate credit! The only payments that we got were the Empact stimulus, and the ACTC! When was we supposed to have seen the additional $3500? I wish I got notice of that supposed payment! I am so heated right now, but it’s mainly because I have to wait.

We’re in the same boat as you over here. Filed on 2/1; got transcripts with codes 971 and 570 on or about the 25th. Called the IRS….Waited 2 hours and 45 minutes before anyone answered the call, just to hear that we confused the ACTC or Empact Stimulus with the Rebate credit on line 30, and should have left it blank. Now they have us in errors, and it needs to be corrected, before our reduced refund is issued. ETA is 4/19 at the latest, she told me!
