I just signed into turbotax to see if anything had changed, it did. I filed on 1-7, accepted 1-24. turbotax says today I was accepted 1-7 now. still cannot get transcripts, 1 bar on wmr and blah, blah, blah. state still hasnt been processed and that was accepted 2 hrs after federal was and on the same day. Is there any realistic idea as to what is going on?

I also bank with Huntington. I actually talked to the bank on Monday and asked if they hold direct deposits from IRS. They said if it is a large refund they usually hold it and make only part of it immediately available like 500.00. He said it’s usually a 2 day process. Last year my refund wasn’t that much so I don’t really know if this is true or not.
Ok guys, I’m gonna try to explain the daily verses weekly cycle to the best of my ability.All of this comes directly from the IRS manual. Daily accounts post within 4 days, weekly accounts post within 7. Most taxpayers will fall into the daily “accelerated” processing. If you are in a weekly account…your refund will “post” within a week of being accepted and your DDD will be scheduled for the following Thursday. Account conditions that prevent accounts from being marked daily are conditions such as (list is not all inclusive):
1. ITIN Accounts
2. Foreign Addresses
3. Campus Addresses
4. Identity Theft Indicators
5. Prisoner File
6. Related MFT 31 Account (e.g., Bankruptcy, Offer-In-Compromise, Installment Agreements, Innocent Spouse)
7. Criminal Investigation Activity
8. Civil Penalty Account (MFT 55)
9. Tax Module History (two years prior) with CI, Exam or Collection ActivityNow, this part is how I believe we will see this play out for the early filers. All early filers are treated as though they were accepted 1/31. Therefore, if you were accepted 1/31, on a weekly account, and the IRS finds no other reason to hold your refund, then your refund will “post” to the master file on Friday, and you should be updated on WMR by Saturday night/Sunday morning for a DDD of 2/13.

I have heard the states are now waiting for the fed to either accept or approve before they release state returns…the question is whether this is done when you are accepted or approved……since your state is now scheduled to be sent….it means you were ether accepted or approved….or maybe simple the info matches on both…..
Same here accepted 1/24 no movement can not order transcripts. Called and spoke to someone at irs and they were no help saying I was processing.

Wow got lucky again spoke to another lady from the IRS she stated My return was not Accepted on the 26th per TurboTax but actually the Jan 28th she also stated that there is 5 steps that a return goes through and mine was just in step 1….

I’m in the same boat as you I filed the 19th and got Accepted by IRS on the 26th that day I checked WMR and it showed Processing 1 bar – 2 days later it showed TT152 and has not changed at all, I tried 1 time to get my transcript online but through my Note2(android phone) and got all through there step to identify myself and I did see under Return Scrip 2013* in blue I clicked it and because it was a smart phone it downloaded a HTM. and never showed more than that, logged off and tried on my laptop and since then I’ve never been able to get pass step 3 always says I cannot get identified …. IRS don’t know crap about that tool and apparently they don’t have a depart that can so I’m lost with that… stupid IRS…. dumb Obama
well nothing has moved on my end since the 26th. Accepted and had 1 bar almost immediatly, tax topic 152 has been there for a week and still cannot order or view any 2013 transcipts….. What the heck is going on? Nothing has changed since last year for me… :( At least I am not ALONE!

Yep this is correct have also used netspend for years. They do post all day, and they can not see “pending deposits” they can only see them when they post. I called them earlier, and they told me that Meta Bank is who actually received the deposit from the IRS…so it goes by when netspend actually received it from Meta Bank…if that helps…also I get my direct deposit from my employer from netspend(because they post 2 days early) and i get them sometimes over night on wed, and sometimes on thurs mornings…i have gotten deposits posted from other employers on different days of the week…they post when they receive the funds…in my person experience

Just Checked the Status of My State Refund for Arizona and it shows Processed as of today and I should have it BY 7th of this month so in a few days i should have it, Also I know for a fact that our state does not processed the return unless the federal was accept. This seems really promising to me!

I am not disagreeing with Amy, only providing my experiences. Please keep my experience is based off of only 2 sources of the DD and I am pretty sure we send our bank sends the payroll file to the ACH at the same time every payday…
My personal experience with Netspend is I have had all direct deposits with them post at exactly 3:36 CST with the exception of when Monday was a bank holiday and one other one my tax return last year. Those 4 deposits that didn’t post at 3:36 CST posted at exactly 9:07 CST. Of course the 3 payroll deposits freaked me out and I was calling, well at least the first couple of times…then I realized holidays were the issue. Now I am NOT saying Netspend has delays due to bank holidays, my company does… we normally send a test run to our bank on Mondays, then real file on Wednesdays. So everything moves out a little if Monday is a holiday…

Okay I just did a little investigative work I found my online account for turbo tax my account says succeeded agency and i looked that up . It means that your refund has been processed and approved by an agent and that you are due a refund. So im guessing we just arent updating on the WMR TOOL….

Well I guess I will start 2014. I bank with Huntington. My DD is scheduled to be deposited by 2/6/14. We will see how
Huntington handles it. It is my first year sending my refund to this account so hopefully they post immediately.

hi, i completely understand where you are coming from. this is my first year of getting my income tax refund direct deposit to my paychek plus card. I called the number for the paychek plus customer service and spoke directly to a supervisor and he assured me that even though it is a joint return that as long as the refund amount is under $10,000 then it will be deposited to the paychek plus card. i made sure to mention that it is a joint return. i hope this helps!!!

So I’m not sure what that means for us. Some people on here say that if our state was accepted and approved, then more than likely so was the federal one. But I’m not sure that counts for CA.

Now I’m going to try and read the rest of the comments!This is only to help people understand the cycles better. The dates here won’t correlate to 2014 dates but may give you understanding of what cycles are. If you look at your 2013 transcript you will see something like this:

20140601That is the year 2014. 06 is the 6th week 01 is first day of cycle.There are 5 days in each cycle…… Each cycle starts on Friday and ends on Thursday…my feeling is that if you get to refund approved before Thursday you should get same DDD of someone who got refund approved earlier in the cycle…I believe anyone approved in between Friday and the following Wednesday will each have the same DDD. This is my best guess…

Help ???? Answers soonI have posted about being accepted on the 24th and calling the IRS and being told that I was accepted on the 27th numerous times. They accepted our returns and the way it was explained to me was that they basically sat somewhere until they were processed on the 27th or in y’alls case the 28th. The 1st agent I spoke to said that our batch was “pushed back” due to the overload of people’s stuff hitting the system.
I do know that I have not completed processing and we cannot order transcripts until the system is finished processing ours.
also in looking at my blank transcript it does have a date of feb. 24th and with all my seasons past transcripts that date was about a week or two later then the date I actually received my refund.
i think we wont see any kind of updating till after batch 1 receives there $$$- maybe we will see something on Sunday Morning again. Unless the whole thing is true about us Ghosting then….

Netspend posts all day, not specific times. Ive used them for years.
Filed 1/27, accepted 1/28 – One bar… no transcripts NO MOVEMENT. I am in the memphis hub according to the 2013* transcript that says I haven’t filed this year. Which is BS!!!!!
Getting very upset with the fact that the people who DO have their DDD are still on here clogging up the forum with their ridiculous, “Will I get my money early??” questions!!!! Seriously, you got your date, you’re getting your money, yet you still have to rub it in by asking stupid questions like WE would know?

The guy I got just kept repeating “I can tell you to go to IRS.GOV and check for updates. That’s all I can tell you.”

We normally get paid a day before expected pay days at about 6am mountain time. Still nothing get here either
Just checking in on “the Club”. Nothing here to report other than my “pizza tracker” was taken away early this morning & my refund amount disappeared also. I haven’t been able to log into the WMR or transcript system most of the day, I keep getting technical error 123( for internal use only ) for the transcripts and the red unavailable statement for the WMR. I haven’t used up all of our log-ins so I know I’m not locked out.
I still can’t believe that my return wasn’t pulled for processing until yesterday…which explains my situation. Took me 4 transfers to get an answer…and so far what he told me was right. Nothing at all is wrong with my return. They pulled at random. Software/Server issues at hubs, and who knows what else…
I have gave up on seeing any refund on 2/6. The rep told me at the earliest for my return would be next week sometime. Heres to waiting and wishing….

Hello everyone im using netspend and I just read a post about netspend not posting dd allday. They are only posting 3:30 central time & 4:30 eastern Time. Just trying to see have any netspend users with a ddd of 02/06/2014.

USAA is really good about posting pending deposits immediately — we are always paid two days before anyone else at my husbands company :) With that said, IRS must be waiting to release funds, because I’m not showing anything (ddd of 2/6) Anyone have anything showing yet? (Gov. makes me nervous, lol)

I couldn’t help but wonder how/when my DD will show up because I am using a different bank than years past (I used to use BOA). Curiosity got the best of me so I dialed up Ally Bank to get my IGMR scientific inquiry questions answered… lolAccording to the CSR, Federal Tax Refunds and Payroll check sent by DD usually appear for them at approximately midnight and are usually posted/available in accounts around 2-3am. I asked if they can see them in advance, and she said no but to call back at midnight to ask them or check account online beginning at 2am. I was playing stupid to see how much info she would spew out and said I wasn’t sure what account it was being posted to so that she would really check in case she was spitting some BS. She said she couldn’t see anything in either account, but that I could use the WMR to see what account it was going to. I knew then, she wasn’t entirely schooled on the WMR functionality but neglected to tell her that I’m the leader of WMR stalkers and the DD account number isn’t something you can see. lmao. I know, I misbehaved. But I was just trying to get the low down on how Ally bank rolls. lmao.

Filed and accepted on 1/24/14 early acceptance through H&R block. and I am in the Philly hub. Still in processing with *2013 in transcripts and 152 code and it has been that way since thursday 1/30. I called H&R block because they take fees out and for the last few years they were able to see it coming in 2-3 days early and I was notified that my money would be deposited shortly. This morning I called just to see if they had anything coming in and I asked the rep to call IRS to find out for me what the hold up was since they will not tell any of us. But as far as my deposits, they didn’t see anything coming in which leads me to believe that we are not going to get our refund on 2/6/14 with the others. I just think we were a actually not processed yet. If the rep really calls me back with any real info I will let everyone know.
I just called and had a nice lady and she said that they didn’t even start processing returns even if they accepted it early until the 31st. Just to allow 2 weeks. She said on the 31st they just started doing all the ones that came in on the 24th and so on in no order. She was actually really nice. Don’t know if that helps, but she checked the system and mine is there..
Okay so get this I just logged into TT to check my acceptance date I Filed on Jan 9 and TT sent Email saying accepted on the 24th which I logged in to check and was showing in WMR on the 24th. Now however when I log into TT it says the IRS accepted my return on the 9th got someone from the IRS that said yes they accepted returns early to test the transmission part of the system to see if it could handle the load, and those returns that where sent early are being filed in with the current ones coming in starting on the 31st to actually be processed. Sooooo. yes they accepted them early but the processing didn’t start till the 31st and not all of the early ones have even begun processing as of yet, he did say that most if not all of the early ones would at least start processing NLT friday. don’t know if I should believe it but it does kind of make sense.
