Hi,
I received an email from TT saying that I need to fix a rejected return. Which I did a week ago and it has been accepted since the 19th.
I called and they said everything was fine. I should see me return soon. I was also able to order my transcripts online.
Does that mean I should see a DDD very soon?

I filed with TaxACT also on 1/19 accepted on 1/20 Less than a hour later one bar and still one bar. No transcripts as of yet republic Bank also doesn’t have a expected refund date for me I find that troublesome because all other years I atleast had an estimate date?

Good evening everyone. I just thought that I would check in on everyone, and see how everyone is doing.

I am still looking at one bar as well. Not that I was expecting any real changes, as I only filed 5 days ago; but I see many of you filed far earlier than I did :). I won’t call the IRS, as I know that they are VERY busy…… Two of my in-laws work for the company, and they are in fact so busy, that the government have them working the computers at home.

Still, this does not stop me from being anxious for my refund lol. I’m sure things will be fine soon for all of us. Anyway, I wanted to check in. It’s always a pleasure to chat among others who are on the same topic. Cheers :) .

Last year, I filed on January 23rd, was accepted on January 25th, and got my DD on February 9th. Since I filed and was accepted on January 19th this year, I’m hoping to get my DD this Friday. Still only says “accepted” though and not “approved” so I guess tomorrow will tell…

I filed on 1/19 before 12am but I was accepted on 1/19 mins after I filed it said my return was accepted by IRS and my time stamp was for 1/20 my email had 1/20 as well for acceptance it was still literally 1/19 approx 11:45 pm but anyways I guess that makes me an 1/20 acceptance my bars hadn’t moved I have split deposit last year I was a weekly took 20 days from the date of filing I don’t know how I waited so patiently. So I’m a weekly I’m almost sure that I have to be just as patient this year I don’t expect any thing until February 2nd or thereafter

just a little update for you guys. my state is finally “finished processing” and is “being issued.” it updated on the phone number and has not updated on the website yet. so like i’ve said use the phone number it updates quicker. i will pop in and let you know if i have a deposit tomorrow or thursday. thursday is when i’ve gotten all my state refunds in the past. good luck. here is the phone number if you don’t already have it 617-887-6367

I filed 1/18 with HRB online. Weird bc my taxes weren’t accepted until 1/22.y WMR dosent even acknowledge they have received my return. But I called today and the IRS rep confirmed they did receive it 1/22. However nothing more. When should I been expecting an update and I’m certain I’m a weekly. I filed on 01/19/16 and from 01/20 until 01/25 my status read “We have received your return and it is being processed” with the bar graph below, this morning the status changed to “Your return is still being processed” and no graph below. Any idea why the status would change to this?

This is my first year on this forum. I was wondering if anyone who was accepted on 01/14 has been able to order transcript or gotten thank you email from TurboTax.

I filed through TT on 01/14 and was accepted the same day but am unable to order transcript yet.

In 2014 I was accepted on 01/20 and received refund on 01/30

In 2013 I was accepted on 01/29 and received refund on 02/06

Needless to say I am worried like everyone else that something is wrong this year.

I filed with Turbotax on the 7th and I got accepted on the 11th, well I had just recieved a thank you email from turbotax thankING me for filing with them. I got curious and called customer service, the guy I spoke with said that means that my refund has been approved and that now we are waiting for the money to be sent. Very excited!!

The irs did not even start processing taxes until the 19th, regardless if you got accepted early or not. They only accepted early because they were testing! Another thing I was accepted on 2/6 last year and got my money 2/10 of last year and never even got a second or third bar so you really just have to keep checking your bank!

I filled with them about two years ago and they are literally the worst. They never notified me of anything. Every time I called they told me that they knew nothing about me even filing with them.
Then randomly I revived a notification that I had gotten my funds deposited. Never got an email from them the entire refund process.
My two cents is to stay away from them in the future. They are a scam and a half. Charged me almost 200 dollars to do my taxes, and turbo tax does both state and federal for free. Seemed like the better option if I do say so myself.

800-908-9946 this is the number i just used to file for my transcript. When i tried to do it online it said no info found but it did when i called. They said my transcript would be to me within 5-10 days. I filed on 1/11. Got accepted 1/12. Status bar has not moved past accepted. Im in missouri. Hope the number helps!

I have never ever heard of irs sending emails or texts to anyone regarding tax returns. Yes TT, HRB, JH and other tax prepares will send emails and texts if you opted to be notified by a text. With that being said Ricks, I highly doubt that you were accepted. Maybe I’m wrong it’s just very doubtful.

After listening to this recording it got me excited so I decided that since I submitted my return 1/15 and it was accepted 1/19 and being that I’m still stuck on that one bar that I would give it a shot and call from what I was just told was that everyone was still in the accepting process no one has been approved and that no she could not give me a ddd that I would need to wait the 21 days and that they have not made any dd yet. So hopefully fingers crossed that we will all start to see something maybe tomorrow or Friday :)

Hey guys, from what I remembered last year, when you get that “thank you” email, that happens when it’s been processed. It’s basically like them saying thank you for choosing turbo tax, or if your payment (in my case) was paid. So something is probably getting ready to happen for those of you that got that email! For the transcripts, last year on here we used them for the ddd code. At the bottom of the transcript it said something like 20140502 which meant the 5th week of the year and the second day. Now with that being said, you would have to view the transcript to see it and I believe it was on the return one. We also used them to see if there was a freeze code or an offset code etc. So with regular transcripts I don’t believe it matters if you can order them but I believe the return one was the one with the codes etc.

Now I do have to say, this was a much nicer site last year. A lot of info can be provided on sites like these but is the nastiness really necessary? Don’t feed the trolls, ignore the people who are obviously lieing and move on. They will eventually move on as well.

Fingers crossed we all see some movement tonight!!
